Charlie was the perfect dog/house sitter! She was extremely efficient and reliable in the run up to her sit, the first one for us, and was very happy to visit beforehand to meet our two dogs and for the practical handover. She sent regular messages, with photographs of our two dogs, throughout the sit and clearly our dogs were very happy and relaxed in her company. At the end of the sit she left our home immaculate. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
This is a wonderful sit. You won’t get a better place. Diana and David are kind, thoughtful organised people who made me feel at home from the start. Dogs are a delight. Gentle, well trained and very loving. House, garden and surrounds reflect the area of outstanding beauty. On my list to do again. A beautiful experience!!
This was a very special sit. Firstly Nicky was incredibly kind and accommodating to our family. We had such a lovely time getting to know each other. Communication was fantastic the lead up to the sit and we felt confident with all the information provided. Ruby and Bugsie were the most well behaved dogs we have met. A real pleasure to be around and walk. We genuinely were so excited every day for our walks together. Starting the morning walking the garden was a favourite way to start the day and our afternoon adventure around the farm we explored all the tracks and no day was the same. The land is so beautiful, and diverse. We absolutely loved it here. Purdie we had a very soft spot for, a real character and gentle we had lovely pats and chats. Overall this sit will forever be a special time for us and our time in the UK and we would return in a heartbeat. We do so hope to see Nicky and Richard again too. Thank you genuinely from our family to yours! X
We highly recommend sitting for Alan and Susie, they are a really lovely couple. They were so warm, relaxed and welcoming to us and super easy to liaise with. Their house is absolutely stunning, with a gorgeous garden in a beautiful village and we loved exploring just some of the local walks. You will completely fall in love with Ozzy. He is really quite special and has been wonderfully trained by Alan and Susie. He is very well behaved around food and his recall is amazing, particularly if there is a ball involved! He is also very affectionate and I miss our evening cuddles. Thanks again for everything and we look forward to hopefully sitting for Ozzy in the future.
Our three week sit at Dawn and Phil’s very comfortable home was a great experience. From the welcoming dinner Dawn prepared for us plus the extremely comfy bed, the sit was one of the best. Boso and Sophie were so lovable and little Kedi is one amazing cat. Kedi being blind, was able to come and go as he desired. Boso was easy to walk and enjoyed his food with gusto. Sophie was a cuddle pot who loved playing with an elastic band that was fun to watch. Dawn & Phil were full of great information of Liverpool and a pleasure to spend time with. We would love to return someday.
Samantha and Pete are incredibly easy going, friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome in their lovely warm and comfortable home, which is a large farmhouse situated in beautiful countryside just outside Aldeburgh. The dogs Rosie and Rodney were very obedient on our long walks around the farmland surrounding the house. Rosie was full of energy and the distance she covered was amazing, Rodney, a Border Terrier, did his best to keep up with Rosie. Evenings were very relaxing, with the dogs at our feet, Rufus the cat joined us on the sofa, as we all enjoyed the lovely open fire. We had a wonderful time at Manor Farm, our stay was over far too quickly. Highly recommend this sit.
We had a great time housesitting for James’ kitties. They are really great cats, beautiful, sweet and well behaved. They are young and have great energy, zooming around playing with each other, but also very serene at other times. At night when I’d read for a while they would come lay by me which made for great companions. James was helpful, giving us all the information we needed for the sit. The home had great light, with a wonderful bay window facing the street, high ceilings and a front facing balcony. The kitties loved going out on the balcony during the day (when it wasn’t snowing lol) and on a day that was warm, Jim sat out on the balcony and kept the kitties company. The location is good, parking was easy and it is close to many restaurants. We would recommend this sit.
