Jennie and Dave we're most gracious hosts. We were asked to arrive a day before they left on vacation. They gave us a thorough tour of the home and explained what needed to be done to care for their dogs, Rylee and Canolli. It was quite hot while we were there, so the pool was a blessing. We look forward to caring for their pets and home again.
Serena was very welcoming and had a lovely meal prepared for me. The house and grounds are amazing and perfect for walking lovely Sacha and Timmy a couple of times a day. Enjoyed a wonderful sense of freedom with lots of doggie cuddles and good walks in the English countryside!
This was an amazing sit for me as an animal/nature lover! I can’t thank Veronica and the “team” enough for inviting me over. What a lovely, happy, funny, strong, tail-wagging bunch of animals welcomed me on May 9th! And what a joy we had going on walks (of lead!), playing in the garden, visiting Orga, getting the turf together, watching the great fire in the fireplace, watching the rain drops and then running around in the sunshine again… Veronica made sure that I had everything I needed and also friends of hers were available if needed. The communication before, during and after the sit was excellent. I would very much like to sit another time to play with the “team” again and explore more of the area.
Great communication with Raquel and Will prior to the house sit including an invitation for afternoon tea. Raquel provided easy to read and accurate information about what was required of us. The house is very warm and comfortable, and we enjoyed the proximity to nearby parks and Alexandra Palace (Ally Pally). Lily proved to be a little more headstrong than we had expected, she has loads of energy and definitely needed two walks per day. Lily is a super friendly dog towards people and we really enjoyed spending time with her. Oliver and Mittens were easy care - I describe Mittens as the most unobtrusive cat I've ever met.
We really enjoyed this housesit. Titus and Michonne are really easy to care for and fun to play with. Jo & Marcus’ house is in a really quiet area, near the olympic park (including olympic pool) and Westfield mall. Nearby Stratford station makes it easy to explore (East) London from here by public transport. There are also shared bike stations near the house. We arranged to meet Jo and the cats beforehand and stayed in touch with her during the sit. Communication was quick and easy. Would happily sit again (which we will next month!).
Such a lovely sit with such warm and gracious people! We predominantly corresponded with Jacob, who was incredibly kind, welcoming and accommodating at every moment, from tending to my partner who was sick upon our arrival, to allowing us to return to their home and stay the night when we missed our original departure bus. Communication was thorough and their videos were very comprehensive regarding the animals’ care, leaving us feeling confident that we understood their needs, and Jacob was there to answer all of our additional questions. Oliver, Moses, and Sophie were as sweet, gentle and patient as can be. It warms my heart to think of their loving demeanors and it was just such a delight to spend time with them. We miss them so! This was our first time caring for pigs and it was much simpler than anticipated. Hattie and Brisby had a schedule like clockwork, and were happy as long as they had their food and their water, happy to graze and roam the backyard for the rest of the day. The home is lovely and had everything that we needed and more, and we were extremely grateful to Jacob and Jennifer for allowing us to use their car, as well. We would be honored to sit for this family any time!

Janean is extremely knowledgeable about dogs and seems to be able to make them feel very comfortable. My 2 Chihuahuas have stayed with her 2 times over the last couple of months. 1 is very skittish and the other has tremendous separation anxiety. Both so very well there and I am so grateful!
We have used both the daycare and in-home visits at Hounds to Horses. Lucy and Jasper always get the best of care. Lucy thinks Bill is her "other Dad" and sometimes seems to prefer staying with him than coming home! That tells me that she's getting the love and attention she needs while we are away. I've experienced the great environment and personal care that they give all of their animals. The only concern you should have about boarding your animals at Hounds To Horses is that your pet may never want to go back home with you! I highly recommend Hounds To Horses!

I randomly stumbled across Pets in Paradise when my high energy pit bull mix was not enjoying her other daycare as much. Pets in Paradise has been incredible! My dog is very selective in who she likes, and she absolutely adores the staff here. She gets to run around outside all day and the staff sends pictures and updates throughout the day to provide peace knowing she is enjoying herself.
I love this place!! My dogs always come back happy, fresh from a bath, and tired from having so much fun. Thank you to the incredible staff for taking such good care of my pups Bowie and Rocky!
My dog Sadie doesn't like many people and won't even go for a walk with good friends of mine who she knows well. However, she absolutely loves the staff at Pets in Paradise. In the morning, she waits at the door for their arrival and practically jumps into their arms when they come to pick her up. When she comes home in the afternoon, she is tired and happy. I have been unable to walk her, so Pets in Paradise has become a life saver for me and also for Sadie.
My dog loves this place. She comes back happy and tired. The taxi service is awesome. She jumps right in the van without saying good bye. All of the staff I have met have been so friendly. I highly recommend the doggy day care or boarding to anyone!

This was the first time our puppy, Warlock, had ever been to boarding. He stayed from a Friday night until Sunday night while we enjoyed our weekend in San Diego. He is quite shy at first around people. The staff was very caring and attentive to him. Great communication by staff prior to and during Warlock's stay. Loved the report card and photos that were shared with us.
Chex had a great first day! We love the report card and how they separate dogs based not just on size but energy level too. Facility was clean and staff were great! Looking forward to bringing him again soon.
We wanted to get our 5 months old puppy ready to be board in the event that we need to leave her if we go on any short trip. When I went to their website I was very impressed. I filled out all the documentation that they needed and decided to go down there just to see what it looked like and felt like. Everyone was nice and made me feel comfortable about the whole situation. The free orientation day went very well. Since my husband works all kinds of hours if I am out of town it is nice to know that they are available 24/7. It is nice to have the flexibility of knowing that are beautiful baby will be taken care of very well when we need them. The place seemed very clean and everyone is very nice. That was our experience at the Escondido location. The prices seem to be very good so we would highly recommend this business for your dogs needs.
I cannot say enough great things about 24-hour dog daycare! My dog, Wednesday, absolutely *loves* it here. The moment we pull into the parking lot, she starts wagging her tail with excitement, ready to spend her day with the wonderful staff and other dogs. The team is so attentive, and I know Wednesday is always in great hands. What really stands out is the level of care and attention they give to each dog. Whether it's playtime, nap time, or just some one-on-one love, they truly treat every dog as if they were their own. I love that it's 24 hours, giving me peace of mind that Wednesday is cared for, even during late-night shifts or unexpected work hours. It's her absolute favorite place, and I couldn’t be happier with the service! Highly recommend to any dog parent looking for a trustworthy, caring, and fun environment for their pup. Five stars!
I rarely write reviews on here, but I wanted to give credit where it was due and compliment the excellent service we’ve received at 24HDD time and time again. For the past two months, our senior German Shepherd Remy has attended daycare here several times and boarded here for a weekend. He always has a great time hanging out with the staff and his doggy friends. The online portal is great and so easy to use. The staff is incredibly attentive and quick to respond whenever we have questions or need to book a last-minute appointment. Just tonight, they updated Remy’s vaccine records and emailed me to let me know almost immediately after I uploaded the file. Something as simple as a quick response makes all the difference. I have been very impressed with this Doggie Daycare. We have a VERY timid and fearful rescue and she’s doing very well there. And I LOVE that I can drop-off/pick-up our baby-dogs whenever we need to. That is such a relief. Highly recommended/
This place is awesome. We were in Escondido from out of town and our senior goldendoodle who suffers from severe arthritis stayed in a private boarding suite while we attended a wedding. They were so kind to her and took her out poty a couple times and also let her play a bit in the play room. They handled her gently and kindly. We hated to leave her at her age, but upon seeing the facility and talking with them, they put our minds at ease. When we picked her up, they provided us a "report card". It was very nice of them that they took that extra step. We highly recommend this facility.
My Sally pup had the BEST time here at 24 hour dog daycare. The staff was so sweet and caring and took their time to make sure she was acclimated before introducing her to the other pups. She made so many friends and had the time of her life playing. All the pictures they sent with her report card put a huge smile on my face while I was at work. We will definitely be coming back !

My Hans just spent his first 24 hours at this facility and we're so impressed. Everything was easy and smooth. Our pup isn't a social dog with other dogs and they had so many safeguards in place. It was a completely stress free drop off and pick up experience. I love that he came home tired, but totally happy and without that stressed out dog smell! Highly recommend and will definitely use them again.
I love this place. I enrolled my shy guy into the day training program. He is half way through his first sessions and I am seeing amazing progress. The staff and trainers are super responsive. And I love how clean/secure the facilities are. I feel my little dude is in great hands. I appreciate how strict staff is with vaccines too!! Keeping our fur babies safe and healthy. This place is a GEM. Orbit comes home tired & happy!!!
Excellent care ! We have been bringing our dogs for daycare, and they love coming! We have also used the boarding and feel comfortable they are in good hands. We love getting pictures while we are away . Tara and Adam do an amazing job caring for our fur babies . Kristen has groomed our goldendoodle and does a wonderful job too. My husband and I adopted our sweet boy Beaux in June of 2024. We quickly discovered he would get really overstimulated, really quickly. And while we were researching and training at home as much as we could, we were finding ourselves facing issue after issue or setback after setback. He was reactive to all dogs, and even though his reactivity was that of excitement, we knew that he didn’t have the tools necessary to come face to face with other untrained dogs like him (dogs that were submissive or had good training previously were okay for him to handle). We knew we needed help and were recommended Alcala by another pet parent at the dog park. We set up our orientation as soon as we could and we immediately fell in love with the place. The manager, Courtney, did our orientation and was SO knowledgeable about every single topic we had questions about. I was incredibly nervous to leave him there - as I was DREADING the (what felt like inevitable) phone call telling me Beaux was too much for them to handle. But, the call never came. In fact, when we picked him up the first day, and saw how happy he was, we knew immediately that we made the right decision choosing Alcala. He did one five-week class at two days a week and the improvements we saw from him were undeniable!! He walked on leashes better, his reactivity was better, his at home manners were better, and while we knew he had a long way to go, I felt so much more confident and SAFE taking him outside on my own. At the time, he was about 90lbs, today he’s a 101, and the fear I had about not being able to handle him is largely gone and I credit it 100% to Alcala. Our trainer, Cydney, was with us every step of the way. We would ask question after question, provide story after story for context, and she would always have exercises that would potentially (and usually did) help immensely. For the rare occasion that something we learned and tried wasn’t helping as well as we would’ve hoped, she would quickly pivot, demonstrate, and give us new exercises to try. We saw so much improvement in his first five-week package that we signed up for another - simply hoping for more of the same, because his progress was unbelievable. We were pleasantly surprised to see more progress yet again. Not only did we maintain the level of training he had learned but he expanded on it even more! Beaux is calmer, SO much less reactive, and is so much more well behaved at home (which is shocking because he never really gave us a hard time in the first place). He finished out his package this week, and while we’re going to take the rest of the year to be home and spend the holidays with family, my husband and I are already making plans as to when we can bring him back. The joy Alcala has brought Beaux is palpable. The ease of mind and confidence it has brought me is undeniable. My husband feels more confident handling training situations in public, a task I am still trying to master. I could not recommend Alcala enough. Courtney, Cydney, and the rest of the amazing staff have been nothing but a pleasure to work with. We cannot wait to be back!
Best daycare and boarding in town! They keep you updated on your dog and even gave our pup some pumpkin due to a stomach issue. They treat our dog as their own pet and we love them! Our dog June is always happy to go for the day or stay overnight at Alcala!

We trust Alcala and our dog loves it! Our 2 year old lab goes to Alcala for day care, and we board her there when we are out of town. She just stayed for 2 weeks, and previously had been boarded multiple times for up to a week. When we picked her up after 15 days, she was happy and it was like no time had passed! As a dog parent it is hard to find a place that you trust, and we have tried dog sitters in our home but have found that boarding is the best option for us. It's important to enjoy while we are away without worrying, and know our dog is safe and cared for by professionals. That is Alcala for us and we appreciate all the staff!
My very, very, difficult dog started muzzled and dosed with tranquilizers when Kristen did her first groom. Now Emmy, my sweet Maltese, with a snappy streak, just allows Kristen to go on ahead. WE love Kristen, she is a dog whisperer!
Overall I really like Alcala. My dog seems super happy to go there and I love there is so much group play time. I gave you a 4 instead of 5 for 2 reasons: 1) I find the rates very very high, and it's painful to pay for two days of boarding when we technically stay over a single night. There is zero way to pay for one day of boarding, and I find that to be, well, just wrong for the customer. Say I dropped my dog at 4pm on a Tuesday and got him at 9am the next day. I am charged $130. I'd love if you could rethink this policy and charge by 24-hour periods (like, say, a car rental company). 2) I almost never get feedback on how my dog did. I've never had a report card or a photo. I'd love to hear more about his visits.
Full disclaimer: we're empty nesters, so our fur babies have become our children. Therefore, to say that we adore them beyond words and do whatever is in their best interest would be an understatement. I say this because I want you, the reader, to know that we do our due diligence and research when it comes to those we trust with them. No cutting corners, second best, or anything else in between. None of that. So when I say that Alcala was and is a lifesaver, I sincerely mean it. Our maltipoo, Pumpkin, is 12 years old, so a puppy hasn't been in our household for 11 years. Thus, we were a taaad rusty. We adopted Zoom (labradoodle) when he was three months old (almost six months now) and boy o' boy! Did I mention that a puppy hasn't been in our house in over a decade?! Whew! I knew that no matter how much "training" I did on my own, I needed help. And fast. And from professionals. Alcala was recommended to me, and yep, you guessed it, I did my due diligence! But from the initial phone call to the orientation/assessment and through today, I'm glad I chose them and can't thank them enough for what they do. We signed him up for one of the training/daycare packages, and it has been worth every single penny. Every. Single. One. He gets out all the extra energy and sleeps in his "in-between" days, which I didn't think was possible, but he does. Daycare also allows Pumpkin, our other furry baby, to have a much needed break, and I can work peacefully knowing they're both not home all day, every day. So win, win, win. He absolutely LOVES going to Alcala, and although depending on his mood, he may/may not feel like getting into the car, once we arrive and I park, he can't wait to get out! And because he doesn't realize that he's no longer small in size (see photo below), he jumps on me to hurry up because apparently I don't go at the pace he would like. 😉 However, it is a sweet gesture that brings a smile to my face and tells me that he feels loved, protected, and comfortable there, which is the most I can ask for. Once training sessions are completed, he will be a part of regular daycare. I can't thank Courtney, Cydney, Adam, and everyone else enough! Thank you for loving Zoomy and being a special part of his life. Thank you for doing God's work by helping shape these little creatures who are so incredibly precious. Puppy Love Pet Care is the best pet sitting/dog boarding option in San Diego. I called Puppy Love Pet Care last minute for a week of dog sitting. Not only did they cater to Rio, but also they allowed me to extend his visit for another week in even shorter notice. The team is absolutely wonderful. I will definitely be using them again. Also - they don't crate dogs and allow non-neutered dogs - amazing!
Such a wonderful experience. We left our two dogs with Randi for two weeks, and she was absolutely amazing! Both of them came home relaxed with wagging tails. It’s nice to find someone you can trust.
Puppy Love is my go to dog sitter whenever I travel to visit San Diego in the spring/summer! I travel with my dog and leave him with Puppy Love for overnight boarding and doggy daycare anytime I need someone to watch them while I'm busy with work. Puppy Love Pet Care is the absolute best! My dog considers them a second family. As a boy with bad separation anxiety, finding a sitter that he was really comfortable with took some searching, but he always has a great time here and comes home happy and tuckered out. I'll never leave him with anyone else!

Stephanie took great care of my kitties at a very stressful time after the death of my husband. She came during the Christmas holidays as well shortly before a move when the house was packed up ready for the movers. She was given very short notice for that time frame. Despite the stress, my cats were happy I was home but no more so than if I had just gone grocery shopping! Stephanie makes sure she knows where everything the pets need as well as bringing in newspapers etc. I highly recommend her as do my two boys! Mary Koske
March 2021 - Chris and Barbara are very special people and took excellent care of our 10 month old Maltipoo. He has stayed with them for both day care and overnight visits and I was very happy with the care they provided! I prefer that he get more attention and personalized attention at a smaller, home care setting (like Hugs) vs one of the other more commercialized dog care options. Chris and Barbara took our dog on a nice, long walk in the morning and evening. They were very flexible when our schedule changed and we needed to adjust the pick up time. And our dog came back clean, happy and tired :-) Update 4/2021 - our dog just stayed with Chris and Barbara for the past 10 days and they sent me pictures, videos and updates every day. Also got pictures of our dog sitting with them - I could tell that they truly care about him and he received lots of love in our absence. He celebrated his 1st birthday with them and my daughter was so sad that we weren’t with him. Chris and Barbara threw him a birthday party and FaceTimed with us so that we could see his party they put on - complete with birthday hats, balloons, dog cake and even a present! We were so appreciative and touched (especially my daughter)!
Hugs Pets Sittings did a truly outstanding and professional job caring for my lab Lola for overnight stays in the home-style setting we wanted for our pet. Not only was my dog cared for in a healthy and loving manner with multiple walks and much attention, but the owners also provided me with photos and and video updates throughout my trip so I could see how well Lola had adjusted to her new environment. Another bonus is Hugs Pet Sitting also allowed me to cancel a reservation 5 days prior due to a emergency hospitalization of a family member during the busy holiday season. Their understanding and compassion shows a business that really cares for its customers.
We were very fortunate to have found this place as we were looking for boarding for our furbabies. We love the fact that they get to roam freely and have access to indoor and outdoor space; it was the perfect home away from home for them. Chris and Barbara were very caring and we knew they were in good hands while we were out of town! We enjoyed all the daily check-ins and I know Kona and Milo look forward to their next visit! I've had our two dogs, Penny and Sidney, staying at Hugs Pet Sitting for 2 years now. When I first met Barbara and Chris in their home to discuss our needs, I was struck at how their house was 100% tailor-made to have dogs as guests. To have our dogs in a home environment with a limited number of dogs per day, tended to by TRUE dog-lovers who treat your dogs as if they are their own, is a dream come true. The first year, we had a major home remodel going on, and couldn't have our dogs underfoot with workers going in and out (open doors) and dangerous materials strewn about. Five days a week our dogs got to go to "Camp Cavanaugh" and be loved and pampered by Chris and Barbara. They always went out of their way to make sure they got love and affection, or walks, or pickups or drop-offs to my house when I was in a bind...they are the most generous-hearted people who truly do care. I also 100% know that if any sort of emergency were to arise, it would be handled immediately with intelligent and informed action. Our dogs bonded with their two dogs, Yuki and Peach, for life..they truly are best friends. Their German Shepherd Yuki can at first look imposing because of his size, but he truly is a gentle giant who wouldn't hurt a flea...he is so well mannered and such a gentleman and so sweet. Their other dog Peach is exactly as her name implies...a peach! A sweetheart who loves to play and be friends. Now that we're in our second year, we meet at the park for walks (again, our dogs are BFFs), and when we go out of town, our dogs get the treat of getting to stay at what I now refer to as "their cousin's home." We thank our lucky stars every day that we found Hugs Pet Sitting. It truly lives up to its name. Barbara and Chris both work from home, so the dogs truly are tended to and taken care of. Out of this fortunate connection we've found dear friends for life too, in Barbara and Chris! Dog lovers, they are the real deal!! Your search is over...just bring them to Hugs!
I can’t tell you how pleased I was with Hugs Pet Boarding and day care! I originally had my dog scheduled to be boarded at a facility for 10 days. This weighed on our shoulders for days before we left. The thought of him inside sleeping in a kennel and only going out to play with other dogs a few times a day was agonizing!! After searching I came upon Hugs doggy daycare/boarding. This was like finding a diamond in the rough! Everything from my first contact with Chris and Barb was nothing more than professional. We had a meet and greet before our trip and I felt completely confident that this was the place for our pup. They did not disappoint!! Every day they sent us a little video clip of how much fun our pup was having. We actually were concerned that he would not want to come home with us when we came to pick him up. He was having a great time!! Everyday! I would definitely refer my best friends and family and anyone who asks for a place to bring their fur babies to Hugs!!!
Our 6 month old Viszla puppy, Maple, had such a great time at Hugs! It was so comforting to be able to leave her in a home setting and get daily pictures/videos of her activities and behavior. She was so tired out when we picked her up from running around with the other dogs and it was clear she enjoyed herself! This was our first time leaving her with someone other than our family members and it's safe to say we will definitely be using Hugs again, highly recommend!
Chris and Barbara took wonderful care of our dog over our spring break vacation. They cared about her comfort and walked her everyday while she stayed with them. We felt lucky that she was in such good and caring hands. Their place was clean and set up wonderfully for dogs to roam freely and play. They even sent us pictures and videos showing what a great time our dog was having with the other dogs there. One thing especially I would give them a shout out for is how they took some time to screen the dogs they accepted. It was great knowing that they made sure our dog would be comfortable with the other dogs there before we left her there. I wish I could give more stars than five and definitely wouldn't think twice before having her stay with Chris and Barbara again in the future!
Chris and Barbara were wonderful hosts to our 7 month old golden retriever. They were quick to communicate. They sent updates daily. They were willing to work with our picky eater and make accommodations for him. They got him out for exercise daily. He was a happy pup when we picked him up after 3 nights! We will definitely use them again. Thank you!
Hugs is absolutely the best place for your furry friends! I am beyond grateful we found Hugs. Chris and Barbara are amazing with the animals. Our fur babies, Lola and Ziggy, come home happier when they are at Hugs versus anywhere else when we are out. Hugs take wonderful care of the animals and I love how they send photos and video clips of the animals everyday. It makes me feel so comfortable knowing the dogs are in excellent hands. Chris and Barb are nothing short of attentive and loving when it comes to the fur babies. We love them!
I feel so lucky that I found Hugs Pet Sitting for my dog Maggie! She has some separation anxiety and doesn't trust new people very easily but she felt so comfortable with Chris and Barbara immediately! They send me pictures and videos throughout my trips and I can see Maggie having the best time with them and the other pups! Thank you hugs for the being the best!!
Terribly disappointing. My dog did not receive his daily medication. He was sent home with all of the medication, in the daily dosage bags, with the paperwork I filled out which was required for the medication to be administered. They never mentioned it. I sent an email immediately when I picked him up advising them that during his 15 day stay, none of his medication was given to him. They never responded. I will never use them again. I trusted they would provide my dog his daily medicine.
My first time coming to Paw Commons Pet Resort I was helped by Taylor, i was coming in to get my dog groomed and the area felt very nice Taylor was super respectful and took good care of me. Paw Commons Pet Resort provides an exceptional experience for pets and their owners alike. The staff is incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring that every pet feels comfortable and well-cared for during their stay. The facility is clean, spacious, and equipped with everything needed for a fun and relaxing time. My dog always comes home happy, healthy, and well-exercised after their visits. We recently boarded our Cooper at Paw Commons Encinitas. It was his first boarding experience with him, so we were a bit nervous to be honest. It turned out great! Staff was awesome. Cooper seemed to have a blast. They even gave Cooper a chew toy which is now his favorite one.
We have boarded our dog at Paws Encinitas a handful of times now over the past few years as well as occasional day of grooming. Our pup is always well taken care of and loves the staff. We love getting report cards during his stay to see how he’s doing. Highly recommend trusting Paws with your beloved fur babies!

I tried Paw Commons several “grooms” ago, because I fell out of love with another groomer in the area, but it’s hard to find a groomer who understands doodles. I found one and my doodle loves her. Zayra at the Encinitas location has groomed my doodle several times now. He looks great every time & he seems to enjoy it. He won’t let me touch him with a brush & dreads the baths between grooms, but when we arrive at Paw Commons, he happily goes with her. 💜 The staff also take an interest in him, in fact Audrey at the front desk recognized us from a doggy day care where she used to work. I took my puppy to Paw Commons when I was visiting from out of town and they were great! Super helpful and made me feel very comfortable leaving her. I loved being able to check in on the webcam and appreciated the “report card” I received about her first day. She got a full grooming and came home looking and smelling amazing. From beginning to end we were impressed. Paw commons is very clean/inviting inside and out. Each staff member was attentive with excellent customer service. Treasure felt comfortable which was the ultimate test. Anna did an outstanding full service groom with a great attention to detail. Treasure’s nails, feet and sanitary service exceeded expectations. We can tell Treasure loved her. Finding a groomer has not been easy and we are so happy that Anna and Paw Commons was recommended to us. Big thanks to all staff, Crystal and especially Anna for taking care of our little treasure.

Lora from Dogs on the Run was absolutely fabulous! We went on a family ski trip for a little over a week and Lora watched over our pup. We have a 2 year old lab and love her so much. Lora treated her like family and took such good care of her. Every day she sent me photos and updates which was a nice bonus. I've attached a few of the photos she sent over while we were gone-it made me so happy to get these updates;) We will definitely be using her services again when we travel or anytime we need someone to watch over our pup. This is my first time using a pet sitter as my pup always travels with me, but when I could not take her on a recent trip, I turned to Dog on the Run. DOTR is an OUTSTANDING DOG-SITTING RESOURCE, & they have sitters throughout a broad section of the country. We used them while traveling for a family event in Berkeley, CA. The sitter, JANA was a sweetheart, was punctual, & professional, & even advised us when she reached our hotel. As I requested, she kept us updated on our puppy's status throughout the time she took care of her throughout the 2 days we were there, walking her, playing with her favorite fetch balls, etc, She sent us numerous adorable photos for my phone, & thorough updates, further making me feel confident that our puppy was in excellent hands. I couldn't have been more pleased, & STRONGLY RECOMMEND "DOTR" for reliable, professional dog-sitting services.
I cannot say more good things about DOTR. Athena watched my sweet dog for 4 days and was nothing short of amazing. My dog is nervous/hyper and Athena worked with her and gave me so many updates as I was Away. Dogs on the Run came very highly recommended and they have been a life saver when I needed a pet sitter for my 20 lb pug mix dog. Right from the start, their professionalism was evident. They were fast to respond and asked me a series of pertinent questions regarding my dog's requirements and temperament, so that they can find a pet sitter who was the best match. Based on our discussion, they connected me to Shae. Shae is the best pet sitter I have worked with. Shae was always punctual. My dog, Chewy, instantly bonded with her. Shae followed all my instructions perfectly. Chewy can be leash reactive and hence walking him can be challenging, But Shae was very patient and careful with him. At the end of each session, she would send a detailed report along with pictures, which I very much appreciated. She was a pleasure to work with and I will be requesting her services on a regular basis. After every pet sitting gig, 'Dogs on the run' always followed up with me to get my feedback and ensure my satisfaction. I highly recommend DOTR and Shae for your pet sitting needs.

Took our pup for her first groom after we adopted her. I was nervous as she is a rescue and has separated anxiety. Our groomer came out, sat with us, talked me through what we signed up for and what she suggested. The whole team made the pup feel safe and at ease. When we moved, we looked for a place that could take our dog, Leia, for grooming. We have had nothing but great experiences with the entire staff. Grooming is always done in a timely manner (have now gone 5 times over the last couple years), and my dog is always happy, soft, and perfectly groomed when I pick her up. Thank you Priscilla, Madeline, Rachel and Anai for always making Leia beautiful! ☺️
Our first visit to Hot Diggity Dog was a success. Maddie our groomer was caring, kind & actually listened to my concerns about my dog's 1st groom with her. Pup came out after the full treatment looking and smelling good. I could tell from his body language he was comfortable around her. We talked over a plan for continuing care for him. I'm thankful to Maddie. She's great!
Hot diggity dog has some of the best grooming around. Especially the groomer Maddie! She makes our boy feel so loved and so well taken care of. Maddie has been cutting our dog Bernie’s hair for over a year now and she nails it every time!

Great place! Groomers were always very patient with one of my older dogs that had trouble standing up for a long time. They took care of her when other groomers refused to cut her hair or demanded extra fees. I will keep coming back out of gratitude, even though my current dogs are low maintenance.
I have three dogs and have been coming here for a while now. We always love it but today was extra special. My 15yr old baby (meatball) is living out his bucket list before crossing over the rainbow bridge. He loves his spa days! Anahi, Maddie, Priscilla, and Keri went above and beyond to make this day special for meatball and me. Went as far as signing his report card with special notes 🥹 and saving some hair for me. I love love love all the groomers I've had at hot diggity dog. I can't tell you what a mess my dogs are(newfoundland and black russian terrier) we live on a farm so they are outside and messy/dirty/matted. Also my dogs are not the easiest to groom with my newfi weighing 125+ lbs. Maddie and Rachel Lee were the last groomers I had and wow they did an amazing job!. from matted too the most smooth slicked glossy coats. My black russian terrier feels like a velvet rabbit, i cant stop petting them. their attention to detail and love for my babies shows in their work. I could not be happier. I have gone to other groomers and no other groomers comes close to getting the results I get here. Beyond thrilled to have found this place. thank you again for all your marvelous work!

We also have them take care of our bulldog when we go on trips for a week or more. We know our dog gets loved and cared for as if she's their own. Rumi has been taking great care of my cats for over a year now. She is super reliable and even makes sure she can be available at short notice when unexpected plans come up. Both of my cats need pills and/or supplements and Rumi is awesome and diligent about ensuring they have what is required every day. Very honest and reliable - highly recommend!!
