Dawn was an amazing house sitter. She handled issues that arose efficiently so I didn't feel I needed to "fix it". She communicated as needed and replied to any inquiries I made promptly. She left the apartment spotless. A great sitter.

What can I say? I feel so fortunate to have matched up with Kris and she set the bar high! Kris came for three days, two nights. She asked if she could come with a girlfriend for a relaxing reunion with a girlfriend since she was in the area with her husband visiting their son in SF. It sounded like a fair trade. Kris shared she had a large Great Dane so large strong dogs weren't a concern for her. She sent photos of Cal and Prim on the beach, on walks and in the shower. She was able to extend her stay for me since our flight was delayed and let me know she stayed long and took the pups on an evening walk and fed them their Sunday dinner. The towels and sheets she used were washed, dried AND folded and there was a lovely note on the counter welcoming me home. If I could, I would plan another trip around Kris's next visit! I can't recommend her enough! Thank you Kris!

What a joy and an honor it was to have Phyllis and Jerry care for my home and my pets. I could write an epistle to describe in detail how much they did and how well they accomplished each responsibility. Our correspondence began many months ahead of my posted dates. Throughout this time, we stayed connected, and as we got closer, we shared more details about my home and care for the pets. Response time was prompt, friendly and courteous. They were incredibly flexible and understanding when I had to adjust my flight time and date. They arrived early on my departure day so we could have time for orientation, lunch, and conversation. Phyllis and Jerry were meticulous in following the instructions I left for cat and home care. They were dedicated to assuring me that things at home were going well by sending pictures of the cats included with special vignettes. They were respectful of my home and took great care of everything as if it were their own. For example, when the hose unexpectedly burst in the back yard on a hot day, they carried water in a bucket to my young Arbor Vitae trees. They are the kind of people who go the “extra mile” based on their high values and elevated work ethics. When I returned home, everything was glistening and spotless. The carpets had been vacuumed, the laundry completed, the dishwasher and waste baskets emptied, the stove shined, and the kitty litter was scooped and cleaned. My fur babies were happy and relaxed, an indication that they had excellent care while I was away. A delightful surprise was the colorful Autumn gift basket and note they left on the counter. I highly recommend Phyllis and Jerry in every way. They exceeded my expectations and fulfilled every task. They are friendly, enthusiastic, and fun to be around, and both have had a wide variety of experiences that translate into good common sense and wise decisions. It was truly my privilege to have the opportunity to meet them and to benefit from all they had to offer me, my home, and my cats.

This was only our second sit so we are still figuring out how things work. We reached out to Suzanne and Jim about sitting after other applicants had declined for various reasons. We also recruited our first sitter last year. They were positive and willing to make the long trip west to us and interested in exploring the area. Lola was well cared for during their stay which was the most important thing. As in other reviews, some cleaning tasks did not get completed.

Kirsten has been our dog Marlo's sitter twice this year and is super responsible. She takes great care of her and our home. She's also great about keeping us updated with friendly texts. Highly recommend!

I think Brooke took good care of Kylie … from the pictures, Kylie looked comfortable and attached. Brooke communicated but also arrived later than expected and left earlier than expected. Significant oil spilled from her car in front of our home and the neighbors.

Jen and her five year old son sat for us and did a great job looking after our home and pets. She looked after our dog and other pets, checking with us if she had any queries. The garden was kept in good order, despite the extra work needed due to the heat while we were away and our home was clean and tidy on our return. Jen was very good at letting us know her plans in advance and kept in contact with us while we were away. We would recommend her to other home owners.

Ash traveled a LONG way for this sit and still managed to be right on time -- a great indication of the professionalism/reliability that was to come. Our off-grid mountain home requires a fairly detailed orientation, and Ash didn't miss a thing. And our indefatigable mountain dog was even tired when we got home -- not an easy thing to accomplish.

Laura and Scott were the best pet sitters you could ask for! Communication was great from the time the sit was confirmed and thru out the sit. Laura sent me daily photos and texts. They did everything we asked and then more! Highly recommend and hope that they will come back and do another sit for us sometime!

Joel was respectful and very good about communicating with us before and during his sit. He had a family emergency after the first night and had to leave early, but we appreciated that he drove back to our house the next day to feed our cats. When we arrived home, our cats were healthy and satisfied. My only complaints are that their separate feeders were left open, so they likely ate each other’s food (they have different diets), and their litter boxes were quite full. I am sure Joel would have been a great sitter had he not had to deal with his emergency.

Nathalia was a dream to have sit for my dog sunshine ! My dog is a Siberian husky so love attention and lots of play /walk time and I loved how active Nathalia was. She even took her for 4 mile runs some days ! She was always communicative with me when I reached out and sent lots of updates and pictures while I was away . She even coordinated walks and play dates with sunshine’s best friends who is a neighbor. I was so happy with her and I highly recommend her ! Sunshine & I hope to gave her come sit another time !

I cannot recommend Karla highly enough; we all absolutely loved her instantly! From the moment she arrived, straight from an overnight flight, she was keen to understand our needs, meet our pets and get familiar with our home. This included instantly bonding with our skittish, 10 year old cat! Whilst we were away, Karla sent frequent emails, including photos and video, to update us on how things were going, which was incredibly reassuring. On our return, everything was left beautifully clean and tidy, with cupboards replenished with lots of tasty treats, ailing plants (including a coriander plant that had been trying to die) restored to lustrous life and our garden revitalised under Karla's expert eye. We're very much hoping to stay in touch with Karla in the future as it felt like we'd left our pets and home with a friend.
