Rae and Poppy were such a delight! 🤗 So playful and sweet both with me and each other (so cute to watch!). Use of a bike was much appreciated even though so much is within walking distance! 🙏🏼 The home was comfortable and lovely and had everything I needed… delicious muffins around the corner at Homemade Cafe and literally everything at Berkeley Bowl, oh my goodness! 😋
I had the pleasure of sitting for Katerina while her family was on holiday. The furry babies were adorable and easy to take care off. They slept in my arms, and as a cat lover, this was heaven. Katerina was also fast to respond to any questions and quite concise with her instructions. Highly recommend sitting for her and spending time in kitty heaven.
Staying at Linda's and taking care of her dog Lucy was such a great experience. Lucy is very easy going and we got along very well from the beginning :)
Pauline was an excellent host. She and her partner picked me up from the train station, showed me around Dalmeny which is such a cute town! And advised me of the transportation so that I could go into Edinburgh - which was stunning! Ziggy was an angel, and cuddled with me in the evenings, otherwise during the day he enjoyed going outside in their beautiful garden. He really is such a friendly and easy going kitty :-) I was left with an instruction manual on how to work with everything in the house, including extra information like where to catch the bus. We kept in touch too with watsapp. I appreciated the warm welcome, all the info and communication. Thank you so much for this pet sit, I really enjoyed it so much!
We feel so lucky that this was our first Trusted Housesitter's sit. The bar has now been set very high! Nate was responsive and communicative from day one. His instructions for the sit were very clear and easy to follow. The house in Silverthorne was so beautiful--a true warm, woody mountain home in the Colorado Rockies. The room we were offered was private and welcoming with a comfortable bed and lovely bedding. There was even a perfectly scented candle burning in welcome. All the amenities were there, from comfortable sitting areas, to everything we could possibly need in the kitchen. Everything was immaculately clean, with spaces left for us to put our own food and belongings. We felt so at home! Now the important part--those two precious dogs. We absolutely fell in love with Baxter and Kokomo. Baxter is a sweet old boy whose eyes hold the wisdom and kindness found in senior dogs. He let us know when he wanted attention and patiently allowed pets and scratches, watching over his "little" brother's antics as if saying, "It's okay, he's still a kid." We absolutely fell in love with this precious old boy. Kokomo--what a big, cuddly teddy bear! This fluff ball has no idea he's not a lap dog and just wants to cuddle and play. He's adorable--loves scratches and pats, loves running around the yard chasing his ball, and is very well behaved for a youngster. He waited patiently for attention when he needed it and came back in right away when it was time. And while he is obviously bigger than his "brother" he was also affectionate and protective of the older boy. Again, this sit set the bar very high for our future with Trusted Housesitters. We would love to come back sometime--thanks so much, Nate!
