We really enjoyed this sit with Alfie, Elkie, Ragnar and the hens!
Alfie was a perfect, joyful boy from the start. Sweet, affectionate, great in the car and on/off leash, he was friendly to all who passed and a terrific mate to our little dog, Shay.
Elkie and Ragnar were adorable, insisting on strokes and snuggles which sent them into purring frenzies. They are adventurous cats who really enjoyed their outdoor explorations.
And the four hens were quite entertaining, chasing after us in the yard for their corn. Their daily, fresh eggs were delicious.
James and Faye were warm, friendly hosts who communicated clearly and promptly. Their lovely home and large property offer spectacular highlands views and amazing hikes. Spean Bridge is in a terrific location for exploring the towns, lakes, mountains and parks in every direction.
Thank you, James and Faye, we will really miss your sweet gang (and we highly recommend this sit)!

Cindy
It was such a treat to watch Gracie! Cindy’s home is comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. Bed was super comfy with soft clean sheets. The neighborhood felt really safe when Gracie and I took our walks. I loved being able to see the mountains from the big picture windows. It was an easy drive to everything you’d like- including the arboretum which Cindy let me borrow her pass for! Gracie is the sweetest doggo, loves to play soccer or steal your sock, was good on leash, and snuggled me every night. I’d absolutely stay again!

We can't explain what a wonderful experience we had looking after Buddy. He is a very special cat, with whom we created a nice connection. He loves to play and be near you whenever he can. We were also surprised at how intelligent and obedient he is.
We will definitely miss Buddy very much after having shared two months with him.

Joyce was very sweet and attentive. We were lucky to have lunch with her and spend a good time together.

Joyce's house is amazing. It has very big and comfortable spaces with a lot of peace and calm, in spite of being in a busy area. It's very close to the waterfront, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. Also, if you don't mind walking a bit, you can easily walk to the city centre, the beach, and the old town. It is also very well connected with trams and buses if you need to go further afield.
Antalya is an amazing city with a very lively vibe and lots of things to discover. It won us over!

We will miss Buddy very much. He was our loyal partner during our time in this beautiful city. We hope to come back soon!

Martina
I had a wonderful time at Martina and Stefan's house. They are good hosts, easy to talk to, and very nice people. Sam is a very sweet and open cat, he likes to be stroked very much. He is out for a large part of the day and has his adventures, from which he then likes to recover in the house and wants to be stroked or simply sleep. Sam likes to talk a lot, he remembers his lunch exactly to the minute, so there is not much you can do wrong :) The modern house of Martina and Stefan is situated directly on the edge of the field and is perfect for bicycle tours, you are immediately in the beautiful vineyards of Rheinhessen. Martina and Stefan were wonderful hosts and Sam was a charming unique cat, I can recommend the three of them to everyone.

PL and Kurt have an absolutely amazing home with gorgeous views of downtown Seattle and the ferries coming in and out. They left very clear instructions and we felt very well-equipped to care for their friendly cat, Cinder. It should be noted that most sitters would probably prefer to have car for this sit. Would highly recommend this sit!

Dafna
Aidan and I had a great experience sitting for Dafna and hanging out with Raji and Lemon. We really appreciated video chatting with Dafna beforehand - getting a virtual tour of the space and run-through of feeding/meds was super informative and helped us feel at ease going into the sit. Dafna was very gracious, lending us a parking pass and key card that allowed us to access some of the graduate housing amenities. Dafna has a lot of experience using this site and was a fantastic host. Raji and Lemon are gorgeous, sweet, and great company. For potential future sitters: Raji is not always eager to take his meds- would recommend giving Raji his meds along with a small portion of his food and giving him lots of time to eat them on his own. I would suggest that you avoid pilling him if at all possible as that can really stress him out. I would also recommend getting an early start on your laundry- on a weekend afternoon it took a few hours for a machine to become available. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would sit for Dafna again.
