Ellen and Mike were amazing! They showed such affection toward my three cats that I'm pretty sure the cats fell in love with them right away. Based on the many photos Ellen and Mike sent over the five weeks I was away, the cats warmed up to them right away and enjoyed their human companions during my absence. Ellen and Mike were always responsive to any messages I sent, and I was totally comfortable with them being in my home and taking care of my feline buddies. This included one cat with health issues and the need for daily meds. My house was also well cared for.
Lilli was our first Zeewoi, and it was PERFECT! Her communication was excellent, offered to send photos and updates, left our house tidy, and was everything we hoped for! I would recommend Lilli and hope she passes through our area again! We have a scared - of - new - people- rescue dog, and she was patient and our pup warmed up to her. It was a very good sit. I gave 4 on cleanliness because it's a beach house! Of course you will track sand in, etc. Well, close to the beach. They did warn me that Bruno can be difficult on his walks, but man is he strong! Stubborn at times, but a lovable lug. Gentle with me and my son, and happy, easy to take care of. Robyn and Dan are gracious, helpful, and a pleasure to deal with. I messed up the date on my return flight and they rolled with it, and figured out how to handle things. (They have a good espresso maker too! 😁) As for Virgin Gorda, you will be very close to the famous Baths. I didn't expect a lot, but it was very cool. Lots of Tarpon, schools of glass minnows, and I even found an Octopus! I recommend diving at Dive BVI (close by) and snorkeling the Baths. I tried some other beaches and it was just ok, and a bit of current to watch out for. Dive BVI also offers a great Island Hopping snorkel tour and Snorkel Safari so you can spend time on the water, see other islands, have lunch, and Snorkel. They were great days! Apparently I was there for the end of "the season", August 1-11, and was able to dive. They were shutting down right after that, and some of the restaurants too.
