Cat Sitters in Ellington, CT

Lauren was wonderful in watching our home and pup, Chuck, for a week! She read our at home guide and asked questions during our interview and during the home visit. During the stay, she had some questions that she texted the first few days when she first got started about determining Chuck’s behavior (what whine/cry that meant he had to go to the restroom). She was really thorough in trying to ensure Chuck was less anxious while we were gone. She had tried a few dog tricks that didn’t work super great for chuck (rolled towel with treats), but appreciate her efforts! She also provided a photo and update for chuck each day, too. She went above and beyond in my opinion for 4 things: 1. She kindly put our bedding in the wash and dryer before she left, which allowed me to get home post flight around 10pm and not have to do it!, and 2. I unfortunately had Chuck’s food shipment arrive while we were out so Lauren very kindly brought up the box of food and placed/organized into the freezer. 3. She was able to make time to visit and meet Chuck for a 30 minute visit before her stay began which eased any concerns and the transition to watching Chuck! 4. She thoughtfully included a thank you note and treat that was ready for me upon arrival. Thank you, Lauren!

All expectations exceeded!!! Outstanding, Amazing.....I would give a ten star review if possible. Patricia was my first sitter off zeewoi and she was a dream come true. Patricia is an excellent communicator, is responsive, flexible, kind, thoughtful....you get the idea that I can't say enough!! Then there was the cat care. My cat Minnie has never before been so normal upon my return from travel. Typically Minnie would be a nervous wreck after my travel, have lost a ton of hair, be meowing constantly, etc. Not this time, it was as if I never went away, amazing!! Minnie was so well cared for! Patricia is a cat whisperer I am certain because my cat can be a paranoid freakazoid but she was normal with Patricia! Patricia also sent videos and pictures which was both very sweet and made me realize I needed to up my own game playing with my cat.... I'm sure she misses play time with Patricia. And like many other reviewers mentioned, Patricia even left gifts...wow, what!.... .I was the one who should be gifting Patricia!! Thank you Patricia, you are an amazing pet sitter!!

Curtiss and Ashley were great sitters and Dusty also enjoyed their company. I can easily recommend them. Thank you for taking such good care of Dusty

I was out of town for a month and Nevline did an excellent job taking care of my cat, apartment and plants. Nevline sent regular updates to assure me that my cat was happy and healthy. She was respectful of my home-space and I returned home to a clean and well-cared for apartment. I would absolutely book Nevline again for my house & pet sitting.

We loved having Ayesha watch our best boy Spot, and our home. She asked thoughtful questions, and she really took great care of both our dog and our home. The house was spotless when we returned and Spot was happy as can be. We would love to have her back any time.

Amanda and her husband stayed at my place for a long weekend. They took wonderful care of my cat! I knew as soon as I met them that my cat and apartment were in great hands. They had carefully reviewed the welcome guide before coming and took excellent care of my kitty while I was gone. I came home to a happy cat and very clean apartment. I highly recommend Amanda!

All three kitties and I feel very blessed to have found Sylvia to take such conscientious care during our travels!

Nate (and his dog Boston) were great housesitters!! Communication was very easy, he arrived exactly when he said he would, sent videos of our little dog playing happily with his, and our home was spotless when we got back.... cant ask for more than that! I initially "met" Nate on FAcetime and immediately felt comfortable. I was a little nervous about having another dog here but he assured me that his dog was very well trained and would be good with ours and he was absolutely right. IN fact, if anything, I think my Sadie really misses them! I would have Nate housesit again in a minute!

Kelsey took excellent care of my home and two cats, I highly recommend her as a sitter! I love getting daily picture updates and info about how the sit was going. Kelsey went above and beyond to make my return from my work trip as smooth as possible, including washing linens and remaking the bed.

John is an amazing dog sitter. Our old pooch took to him immediately as if they were old friends. The night we got back our dog went searching for John at bedtime, missing him already. During his first night at our house a tree fell on our porch and garage. John sent us photos and assured us that no damaged happened to any windows or roofs. Communication was clear and easy and John was quite flexible about timing. Our house was immaculate upon our return and John even managed to get the bed linens washed and dried before we got back. YOU can't go wrong with John.

Becky and Macci were wonderful to jump in for a couple of days. They responded quickly and thoroughly to my inquiries along the way - before and during the sit. The house was in excellent condition when I returned and the cat was her normal happy self! I will certainly invite them again to stay here and can whole-heartedly recommend them to everyone.

Sheila took amazing care of our two cats while we were gone for Christmas. She gave our cats so much love and took great care of our house. She is a great communicator and was really easy to coordinate with. I’d gladly have Sheila back to sit for us any time!
