This little one was pure pleasure, from the moment we met her. A calm, gentle and sweet girl, who is happiest being near you, no matter the time of day. Abby and George welcomed us graciously into their lovely home, with a delicious meal and extremely interesting conversation, the night before they left on their vacation. The primary reason we petsit, beyond our obvious love of animals, is meeting genuinely kind people, such as this couple. Our two weeks caring for Gracie, and their home, just flew by in record time. The newly built senior community is perfectly situated for quick driving to the local shopping center, and has vast neighborhood areas, for long daily walks. Ponte Vedra is a coastal town, and the nearby beach is an easy drive. Abby was always available for a quick note, before and during the sit. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfectly situated petsitting experience. We are so thankful to have spent our 2023 holiday season with Gracie.
We only spend to nights at Luise and Victor‘s lovely flat but enjoyed the time with the cats a lot. They are very friendly and funny companions. Solveig was very curious and right by our side from the beginning. Lupo needed a little time but was very happy to be stroked and petted a lot as soon as the ice was broken. It was a lot of fun to just watch them being quirky and playful. The flat is very spacious and the kitchen provides everything you need. Supermarket and bus station were really close. Subway and s-Bahn approx. 15 mins away. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Communication with Victor and Luise was efficient but kind and you can tell they love their pets a lot.
Pets were fun, friendly and full of character. Magnuson Park, near by, was a lot of fun. The condo had a nice layout and great entertainment system. I had a wonderful time here.
What a beautiful place to land! The "kids" are all sweethearts with their own unique personalities and stories. They are happy to welcome you into their amazing home with beautiful windows, wood burning stoves, books shelves full of books, a relaxing place to be. I loved getting to know Elaine and loved the generosity and trust she shared. Thank you, Elaine! The surrounding areas of Baltimore, Skibbereen, and the Wild Atlantic Way are incredibly beautiful with very friendly people. I look forward to going back! If you get an opportunity to house sit here, I would highly recommend it. Five thumbs up!!
Judy's home is lovely and comfortable and in set in a community full of walking trails. Judy was great to communicate with as well. Reba and Taylor are so adorable! They LOOOOVE belly rubs and morning/ evening walks.. and after taking both out, Taylor will wait to see if she can have a "bonus" walkie. Sometimes the walk turns into a complete sniff-fest - but they are hounds - so that should be no surprise! :) They get quite the attention when out on a walk (cuz they are just so cute!) and Taylor especially likes to be the "greeting committee" with other pups while out and about. It was a joy to watch and care for them. Thanks Judy!
