This farmhouse , the surroundings and the company of Mabel and Maisie make this stay a true gem.
We were made very welcome with an excellent supper and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The dogs are very responsive and well trained. In fact we were so impressed with Maisie that we have bought a working cocker spaniel puppy.
The Englefield estate is wonderful. The house and village well worth a visit. Thank you very much.

Sarah
I had a very quiet and lovely stay at Sarah and John's cozy garden home. I was lucky to get a tutorial in person before their departure but the house guide was equally thorough. Boots the cat came around for naps, food, and head scratches. The ducks seem to tell time because they knew exactly what should happen when. It was easy to stay on their schedule and I was deeply amused by the 6pm pea fest! Their eggs were delicious and I ate them every morning. Sarah and John were both lovely people and their home was welcoming. Sarah has the loveliest office space (huge window overlooking the garden), so I was grateful to work from there. There's a grocery store a very short walk away and the taxi back to the train station was less than £7.

Rachel
I had a really lovely week in Rachel’s very comfortable home in this beautiful part of England. Arpi the dog is the best girl and we had wonderful walks in the surrounding countryside and a couple of trips to the local pub. She is such an easy dog to care for (although not a fan of the vacuum cleaner), loves her cuddles and is very chilled. I would thoroughly recommend sitting for Rachel and would gladly return.

Sophie
This was a wonderful first TH experience for us! Sophie was very easy to communicate with. Their home is so comfortable and has a fantastic view of the ocean. The neighborhood felt very safe. Most days we walked Cocoa twice a day which meant going out after dark but we still felt very safe. My partner worked from the house all week and had great WIFI for his meetings. There is a must visit bakery about a 20 minute walk away and across the intersection from the bakery is a Safeway and a good pizza place and great little Italian deli.
Cocoa is a wonderful guy! He is super easy going. He loves his walks but he is also content to just hang out at home with you. We would love to stay with Cocoa again anytime!

Shima
Petsitting for Shima’s fur family was a treat. Eva the dog and all four kitties were charming, easy to care for and in harmony with each other. I really enjoyed their company! While Shima and I didn’t meet in person, she wrote a very clear Welcome Guide and was easy to reach via texts. Shima’s home is comfortable and peaceful with a lovely back porch in a green, quiet neighborhood, and an easy drive to downtown.

Eric
Loved Eric and Leslie's beautiful home and their wonderful kitties Saba and Toro. Their place was very clean, organized and comfortable. Eric communicated very well about how to care for their home and kitties. We had a great time there and would sit for them again in a heartbeat.
