Housesitting for Ronda and Jim was an absolute delight! All of us were newbies, so we were thrilled that our first sit turned out so well. The highlight, of course, was getting to spend time with Bailey and Bell. Throughout our stay, they were incredibly well behaved, and made our experience very enjoyable. We loved our walks in the open field, right across the street, where we could watch them run and play. There were also lots of tummy rubs and nuzzling! In addition, we were able to avail of the restaurants, live music, and shopping in downtown Gruene, which was only a 10-minute walk away. It was a true pleasure to care for Ronda and Jim's lovely home and their beloved four-legged family members. Looking forward to the next sit!
This was a lovely place to stay. So easy and quiet
We really enjoyed our stay in Hawthorne. Aliza and Howie are wonderful hosts and gave us very clear instructions to care for their cats. We enjoyed our interactions with the cats and we loved exploring the towns, villages, and the park and hiking paths nearby. This was an easy and pleasant sit.
