What a great experience it was to house sit for Theresa and Curtis! The house itself is a peaceful haven overlooking the Baru volcano (what an amazing morning view while sipping a tea!!!). The dogs - Daisy, Princessa and Stella - are such lovely beings. We will miss them very much! Theresa is a very organized woman and it was very easy to follow instructions to take care of the house. We would be happy to come back and do another sit. I highly recommend coming to this beautiful little village and enjoying the company of these 3 wonderful doggies! Thank you Theresa and Curtis! ♥
Ryan and Hannah were very friendly and communication was superb! Rainy and Puddles were a pleasure to look after ! Very well behaved dogs and we both created a bond with them quickly. The area of this sit was in a nice quiet suburb of Melbourne with some beautiful parks nearby. The house had everything you needed which made the sit homely. There was a beach nearby which we took Rainy and Puddles to a few times, this was definitely our favourite! Rainy would play fetch and Puddles took a dip in the sea. Both dogs were very friendly with others and recall was good, making walks very enjoyable. Overall the sit was stress free and we would highly recommend looking after Rainy and Puddles! Thanks again to Ryan and Hannah for being very kind and helpful with the sit. We are missing the girls lots 🥰
Lindsay and her family are gracious hosts! Their home is warm and welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Actually, come to think of it, this was our first sit for a family with children and from our first step in the door you could tell this was a home filled with love! Lindsay left instructions for the care of Momo and recommendations for local cafés guaranteeing we were all well fed. Quick walk to the Medieval Mile in the center of Kilkenny makes it easy to explore. Be sure to check out the Mayfair Library which Lindsay designed, it’s beautiful! Momo was a great roommate. She wants attention when she’d like it and her watch is never off when it comes to meal times! She’s so entertaining! We truly felt at home and would not hesitate to sit with Momo again. We highly recommend this sit!!!
It was such a pleasure to sit for Tomand Barbara at their lovely home in an incredibly beautiful setting. Their home is spacious with a heated pool and hot tub that I had the pleasure of enjoying. They left detailed instructions and communication was easy and timely. Barbara has vegetable gardens and flowers I enjoyed taking care of and Tom has the yards set up for easy watering during hot days. This was a 13 day sit in a safe, convenient and quiet area. Taking care of Inga and Eyegor was super easy. They are both little love bugs that snuggled up with me when they were inside and have the cutest little meows. They definitely enjoyed their outdoor time and would let me know when they were ready to come inside. Eyegor required a topical medication that was easy to administer and their feeding routine was simple to follow. Tom and Barbara are gracious and lovely people that I enjoyed getting to know. I highly recommend this sit…5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
How lucky are we ! Dave and I just got to spend a week in the quirky house of Chloe & Malcolm which sits on the southern shore of the River Forth in the stunning Dalmeny Estate. Loved walking and driving through the estate, so well kept with lots of highland cows, ponies and shetlands and when we were there baby lambs. It would be advisable to have a car to get around the surrounding area and Edinburgh but a local bus does pass by the main gate of the estate and the house is on the coastal path which runs between South Queensferry and Cramond so good walking and cycle route. The house had such an amazing location with views across to Fife and the islands and it was so idyllic sitting in the evening on the beach with lapping waves and a roaring bonfire. Bliss ! The icing on the cake though was our charge for the week, an adorable labradoodle called Millie. She was always eager to show us the surrounding countryside and always wanted to go that extra mile. She captured our hearts and was the most affectionate and nicest natured dog you could meet. We fell in love with her and can’t wait to sit for her again.
