We had the pleasure of meeting Nicole and Alex before they left our house and it was obvious we left our cat and house in good hands. The house felt like I might even be cleaner than when we left (and they were still packing up!). Our cat was so comfortable with them he barely cared that we were home. Also, seeing our boy totally calm in Nicole's arms, purrrrfect! They traveled for this sit so I don't know when we can have them back but I wouldn't hesitate to have them sit again!!
Staying at this beautiful home in Evergreen was an absolute pleasure! The location is perfect for anyone who loves the outdoors. Nestled in the foothills of the Front Range, we were just a short drive from Denver, but it felt like we were worlds away in nature. The house is ideally situated near incredible hiking and biking trails, making for fantastic daily adventures. Abby and Frieda loved our hiking adventures. We made sure to bring extra water and a dog bowl and learned that if we kept the pups side by side, things would work much better. The real highlight was the time spent with their three wonderful dogs. Each one brought such joy and unique energy to our stay: Ellie would get frisky in the mornings, eager to start the day with a little extra bounce. She was cute. We made sure to feed her or give her treats with Frida and Abby outside the door to the laundry room. Frida was the ultimate cuddle bug and playful pup, always wanting to crawl into my lap for some affection, ready to hike, play fetch, and tug-o-war. Abbey had a strong bond with Frida and loved to walk beside her, which we managed beautifully on our outings. Abbey is sweet and a swift and sly hunter and gatherer. We were surprised at how quickly she could get food off the counter. Keep food put away unless you are cooking or sitting down and eating, and all is well. Their personalities complemented each other well, providing us with many laughs. It was clear how much they were loved and cared for and how much they cared for each other. They are true sisters. That made our time with them even more special. Communication with the owners was seamless and warm. They provided the information we needed, and if we had questions, they were always available. They also went out of their way to make us feel appreciated throughout our stay. Their thoughtful messages and clear instructions made the experience smooth and enjoyable.
We had a wonderful housesit with Rosie! Lucy, Richard and their lovely family welcomed us warmly, and their guide for the house was very clear. Rosie is affectionate and adorable and was such a great pleasure to spend time with. She enjoyed her walks and is very good at keeping close when off the lead. We very much hope we can housesit for them again!
Tammy was such an incredible host and absolutely lovely on a personal level. Cosmo and George were total lovebugs, and while Taco preferred to mind her own business most of the time she was the snuggliest TV buddy. All in all I truly hope I get the pleasure of sitting for the all again as soon as I can!
I absolutely adored my time with Ozzy! He is such a character and super snuggly. Ozzy is very well behaved and we had a great time on leashed neighborhood walks, as well as off leash hikes and playing in the river. He also knows how to just be chill and would lounge around his house and yard while I worked, cooked, or watched a movie. He is so sweet and is the best company. Danielle and Jeremy were easy to communicate with and make plans. I felt well prepared for the sit and all instructions were clear. Their house is beautiful and in an excellent location. I could walk to town, restaurants, grocery store, the river, and walking trails. I felt welcomed in their home and everything was incredibly comfortable. Overall I had a great weekend with Ozzy and would welcome the chance to sit for them again! Thanks!
Sage was an incredibly kind and gracious host! Their house was spotless when I arrived, and there was a very informative arrival guide to answer any questions I might have during my stay. Juniper is a very sweet gentlemen and was fantastic company to curl up with on the couch.
We had a wonderful house sit at Antonia’s home hanging with her three adorable cats. 🐈⬛ 🐈⬛🐈 Antonia was so hospitable, and even welcomed my daughter and sister to join me. We all had so much fun playing with her fur babies. They were so sweet and well behaved, just a pleasure to be with. The home was in a very convenient location, and was absolutely beautiful and clean. It was a joy to sit here and I would be more than happy to come again and hang out with Mao, Mittens and Hope.
