Chris and Sue's home is lovely and warm, their dogs Frank, a large but loveable (English?) Mastiff and Peggy, the young and playful cocker spaniel. They are very obedient, easy-going pets that enjoy strolls in the morning and in the late afternoon. Thanks to Sue and Chris for the hospitality, we would stay again in a heartbeat.

Flawless communication and information is provided from the first video meeting and throughout your stay. Johnny met me at the train station and gave me a thorough debriefing on the house, cats and dogs. I received a detailed manual for caring for the dogs and a schedule of events along with John and Henri's coming and going. You would be hard pressed to find nicer hosts. They generously provided me with the use of a car and freedom to explore when either one or both occasionally returned home during the 7 weeks I was there. The location is blissful with more than enough to explore close by without leaving the dogs for too long. I found just staying at home to be equally satisfying as the house is very cosy and comfy. And you could not ask for a more beautiful setting. The gite is very livable and lovely. I became quite attached to the dogs, Jazz and Lipton. They are funny, energetic and personable. They require a very stable routine and love their walks. Prevention is key to avoiding any mishaps or naughty behavior. Their antics are hilarious and at times frustrating, but they have such adoring personalities that they are easily forgiven for any misbehavior. Being Cocker Spaniels, they need ear and eye care, but it is super easy and they are well adapted to it. Jazz and Lipton adore their brushes and snuggles, but are very competitive for the least bit attention. It is calmer and it helps with bonding to give them one on one attention when grooming them and they just love that time. Hastings and Hashtag, the two chunky tortoiseshell cats, are equally lovable and very used to their routine as well. Hastings is a bit shy, but just lovely and happy to hang out watching the birds while Hashtag smothers you with affection. Thank you John and Henri for the privilege of caring for your home and beloved pets. I'd be happy to return anytime to stay in Castelnau or Sitges!
Rebecca and her sweetheart doggo Laela are soo cute. Super friendly host and the place is in a tranquil spot. Laela was super easy to look after she followed me everywhere bless her.
I really enjoyed my stay at Federico’s place. His home is very calming and I felt very comfortable there. Communication was very easy and he was always available if I needed him. He also is good for texting if he needs anything too ☺️ My favourite part was taking care of Gina & Kaly! They are very easy to care for and such great company. They take a little time to warm up to you fully but for me this only took 1 day. They love to play and get rubs from you, but they are also both independent and are happy to entertain themselves too. Location wise the house is super central. Lots a very nice restaurants close by. Ubahn is only 8min walk away and the super market only 12mins away approx. There is a desk for working from home and WiFi was very good for me.
Steve, Sharon, Sherlock and Simba are all very welcoming and generous in sharing their amazing home. What a location!! The train station is on the doorstep, shops, restaurants and everything you need are a short walk away. The cats are very independent with their own tunnel to the outside world but love to cosy up on the couch every chance they get. They are easy to care for and delightful company. Communication with Steve has been prompt and thorough. I would highly recommend this house sit.
Very sweet, laid-back and nice hosts! Ronnie and Paddington are very easy to watch and Paddington is a total cuddle bug. Highly recommend.
