Sara and Geoff have a beautiful home in a magical setting that seems to be undiscovered by many folks. Twig is the ruler of the home, IMO😍 Cinder is a warm and constant companion. Milo too is a solid couch friend on the opposite side of Cinder. Griff is affable and wants to be in the snuggle fest as well. Everyone was lovely. We had an amazing time.
The homeowners were very communicative and responsive. Their house is comfortable and kept clean. And the cats…. So cute, super friendly, easy roommates, and the best cuddlers 🥰 Only good things to say about the whole experience, and I’m bringing home lots of great memories. Thanks Charlene, Polly and Waffles!
Housesitting for Kathy and Gord was an absolute pleasure! Their cats, particularly Sidney and Lennie are wonderful. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see much of their third cat The Little Girl as she is extremely timid and mostly stays in her room. Sid is hugely affectionate...he loves being patted and just being around you, while Lennie is also very sweet but much more independent. She is happy doing her own thing and likes to spend a lot of time outside, even in the winter. Their place is super comfortable with everything anyone would need and is in a great location, easy walking distance to Queen Street. Kathy and Gord were extremely welcoming of us and great to communicate with. We'd be more than happy to sit for them again.
A perfect sit for a wonderful family with a beautiful cat! Francesca and Charlie were great communicators. We arrived the day before so we could learn our way around the house and meet Gandalf the Grey, who is a beautiful, sweet cat with a lot of energy. Francesca and I were regularly in touch on WhatsApp and Francesca and Charlie gave us lots of great recommendations for things to do in the area. The house is really comfy and perfectly located near great walking trails and close to the rail station, making it very easy to get into London. It's a short walk into the village, making it convenient to shop for groceries, baked goods and the like. Dorking, with its wonderful antiques district is a short train ride away. We only use public transportation and had no trouble getting anywhere we wanted. The best part of the sit was getting to know Gandalf. He's such a wonderful boy. Gandalf had had surgery a couple of weeks before and we took him to the vet for a post-surgical check up. I was a bit nervous about getting him into his crate, but this lovely boy just walked right in with no problem at all. He warmed up to us quickly and would come and visit us early in morning, waking us with his fabulous purr. This was quite a long sit and by the time we left, he had found a place in our hearts. This sit was just perfect and we'd love to return to sit for Gandalf again.
Lulu is the nicest and sweetest dog I've ever taken care of, she was very easy to take care of, she is very self-sufficient. Katherine's hospitality was also great, she and her husband are very nice people.
Dawn and Freckle are both superb! Dawn was lovely from the get go. She has a bubbly personality and made everything easy for us. Her home is a cute house in Torrox pueblo - tidy, cosy, and with a terrace upstairs that has a gorgeous view of both the sea and the mountains. Beware of the roosters nearby, they'll wake you up early, but it's nothing that ear plugs can't solve! Lots of cute towns nearby (15-25 min drive) such as Frigiliana (must see!), Cómpeta or Nerja. And Freckle... He is so cute! He follows you everywhere, and he sleeps with you, which was one of the highlights of our stay. He's a very easy cat, as he goes in and out through a cat flap and roams around freely. But he'll spend most of his time cuddling up next to you and tagging along as you move around the house. Such a cutie! Overall, a great stay, with a lovable cat and a great host, who even left a welcome gift for us. 😍 Thanks a lot Dawn, we miss Freckle already!!

I would 100% recommend Serena for her services at Poochie Mumma. Both Serena and her daughter care for my dog as though she were their own. I have a 15 year old Yorkshire terrier who no longer enjoys long walks and is frightened of dogs, so Serena visits Lulu whilst I am at work to let her out and spend some time with her. It is clear that Serena totally loves the dogs she looks after. I receive a photo for every visit which brightens my day at work and puts my mind at ease that she is ok. Serena has also made emergency visits if I am stuck in London or if I need emergency dog cover. Serena is kind and very reliable, Lulu absolutely loves when she visits!
Serena took care of our dog Max when we travelled to Australia for a family wedding earlier this year. She is very professional and you can see how much she loves her job. Whilst looking after Max we received videos on a daily basis showing how much fun he was having out walking 2 or 3 times a day with other dogs. He had the time of his life. Also while we was away , our flights home were cancelled due to covid 19 and Serena was extremely supportive and looked after max while we was stranded. I couldn't recommend her enough and we will definitely be using her again.
We left our 11 month old cockapoo with Serena/Poochie Mumma for a week. We had looked at a number of other dog minders as we were very worried about leaving our baby for the first time but as soon as we met Serena we knew she was the one for us! She treated our dog to a 5 star service....like a member of her own family. We were very pleased to have daily updates on our dog, lots of amazing photos and videos of her not missing us at all! I She really enjoyed her time with Poochie Mumma and we have already booked with her for next year!
I recommended Poochie Mumma to my elderly neighbour who needed dog care whilst she was in hospital. Serena came to visit my neighbour and meet her very anxious Jack Russel Harry. Serena was very patient and oozed a calmness that settled Harry and made my dear friend and neighbour comfortable about her taking care of him. Serena had Harry for a week and from what I heard it sounds like he had a great time. The best thing to come from this is that Harry is now happy to leave my friend for periods of time without becoming distressed. Serena has continued to walk him 3 times a week and I often see her come to pick him up... his tail is always wagging and he is excited to see her. My dear friend is relieved to have such a reliable warm and kind person to take care of her little Harry. So this review is from us ... Margaret, myself and a very happy Harry!! Poochie Mumma is without a doubt a 5* service.
Serena & her daughter both came round to meet my dog before looking after her for the night. She immediately warmed to them and I knew she was in good hands. I was able to keep my dog at home which suited her perfectly as she’s 13 and loves her home comforts. Serena sent pictures of my happy dog out for their morning walk which was a lovely touch! So pleased we found someone reliable :)
I can't recommend Poochie Mumma highly enough. I spotted her branded van parked up at the exact time I was looking for a reliable local dog walker. Serena visited to meet Sophia (our mixed breed rescue dog) and immediately Sophia took to her. Initially Poochie Mumma would pick Sophia up on the day to take for amazing, fun & long walks (sending me photos of Sophia enjoying herself). A change of job meant that our dog now goes to Poochie Mumma for several hours each day and she always has a fun time, receiving plenty of exercise, love and attention. Poochie Mumma has always been reliable, has been flexible when work plans have changed and above all has taken care of Sophia as if she was one of her own dogs. If you're looking for dog day care, boarding or walking in the Stansted area your pup will be lucky to have Poochie Mumma take care of it!
My dog Ernie has been walked by Serena and stayed with her on occasions when work has taken me away from home, Serena has always been reliable and makes Ernie a big part of her family. I always receive daily photos of Ernie enjoying himself which is fantastic for me to see. I whole heartedly recommend Poochie Mumma!!
I only have left my dog with family, but this time no one was available to have my staffie, she is a spoilt dog , so I was worried about leaving her, as she doesn’t like me leaving her. After being recommend by a friend from work. I met , Serena , and felt happy my dog will be well looked after. And My dog seemed happy once collecting her and she said she had been on some great adventures, so my dog, tells me lol . I will be using her for future holidays 😃

Cannot recommend SuPaw Nanny more highly. Not only does our Puppy have a fantastic time with her, he receives the individually appropriate level of mental and physical stimulation. His behaviour has also improved with interactions with other dogs. There is absolutely no-one else I would trust with our Puppy and I know there is no-one else he would prefer to be with!
Couldn't recommend enough! The absolute highlight of Hendrix's week is his doggy play and walk sessions with SuPaw Nanny. He's a highly energetic Labrador has been going every week for over 2 years. The facilities and level of care that he gets is fantastic, with all his needs met - running, sniffing, games, swimming and romping around with pup-pals. There are different groups suited to different dogs and he goes rain or shine. He's also boarded with Stacy and is always looked after as though he was her own. Thank-you!!
I cannot speak highly enough about SuPaw Nanny. We went on holiday for 2 weeks and Stacy looked after our two cats each day we were away. She not only fed them but gave them cuddles and made sure they were happy. She also kindly fed our fish. Stacy also provided us with updates and pictures on WhatsApp almost every day. When Skye goes to daycare at SuPaw Nanny, I know that she will be well looked after, cared for and have fun! Stacy make sure that there are plenty of enrichment activities and that Skye gets to enjoy the amazing off lead secure field that has lots of areas to explore. SuPaw Nanny is perfect while I’m working from home as I know I can focus on work while Skye is having the best time playing with her pals. Stacy goes above and beyond to tell me how Skye is getting on and I love getting the photos at the end of the day of what they’ve got up to. I could not recommend more highly. Scott is amazing, my two dogs love Scott. He is trust worthy, always on time and you know that he always give them a good walk, they always come back shattered. Scott has also stayed whilst I was away on holiday, normally I would worry how the dogs were, but didn't need to with Scott.
Scott was recommended to me to house sit my 2 pups just 3 months old. He did a home visit, prepared a full comprehensive contract and kept in touch with me prior to his stay. The puppies loved him and he clearly was extremely attentive to them as they had formed a great bond. Dog sitting rates are extremely competitive and I’m sure the extra work my pups created was not charged for. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Scottie’s Dogs to any owner and really look forward to using Scott again.
On first meeting with Scott felt more than comfortable knowing both our dogs would be well looked after. Scott is certainly very caring and has a love for animals and walking, which means we have 2 very happy dogs when he visits. We have now called on Scott's services for dog sitting and walking on a number of occasions and additionally looking after our garden and plants whilst away. Scott is very trustworthy and certainly provides an excellent service. He has built a lovely relationship with both our dogs and I know they are both well looked after when we need.

Whenever Scott comes to the door Buddy is so excited and can’t wait to go out and have fun with him. As all pet lovers know the welfare of their dogs is paramount and finding that right person to look after them should you need to go away is so important. Well we can really recommend Scott! For the first time in a long time since we got our two rescue dogs we were able to go away for a relaxing stress free weekend knowing our boys were being looked after and cared for in their own home. I had Scott take Oscar for walks for a week whilst I had work commitments. During our first meeting, Scott was really friendly and by the way he interacted with Oscar I knew he was going to take good care of him. Scott was really professional and had all the correct forms etc which made me feel relaxed and reassured. Scott was great at keeping me informed during the week and I really appreciated the lovely pictures he sent to me. At the end of the week, when Scott came to return my keys, I knew by Oscar’s behaviour (kept trying to sit on Scott’s lap and lick him) that Oscar really liked him. I will definitely be using Scott and Scottie’s Dogs again in future.
We have a very stubborn English Bull Terrier who decides as and when he wants to be walked. Most of the time he doesn’t want to be walked, much preferring to sleep on the sofa! When Scott arrives he’s over the moon to see him, jumping up and down like a puppy and can’t wait to get his lead on. He loves him. I would highly recommend Scottie’s dogs. He’s very Professional, fully committed and nothing is too much.
Scott recently looked after my cat Belle while I was away for a long weekend. I wouldn’t leave my cat on her own and have someone just pop in and out. She likes company too much. I’m not able to take her somewhere else either as she’d be so frightened. I tried to find someone but it was really difficult to find someone that would stay and look after her in my home. They wanted me to bring the cat to their house instead. Therefore, finding Scott was a real god send. He was really friendly and I could tell how much he loved cats. He always kept me updated when I was away and I loved the pics he sent. The house was kept clean and tidy and I was really pleased with his service. I’m and glad I found him and will definitely be using Scott again in future.
Scott has looked after my cat Radiance a couple of times whilst I have been on holiday. Radiance really warmed to Scott. He has a kind and caring nature towards her. Scott sent me a couple of photos of them together whilst I was away which put my mind at rest. She doesn't sit on anyones lap but mine, but I was sent a photo of her tucked up on Scott's lap. She enjoyed his company. I would recommend Scott for pet sitting and will be using his services again.

Honestly one of the best! She was fantastic without Brew Boy and he was so happy to go. The binding sessions were perfect and after the 1st he would get excited at the gate. Ted is just back from The Pawvoy Dog Hotel. He’s had the most amazing time and has been looked after so well, that he didn’t seem in any hurry to come back. John and Elaine have looked after our grey for as long as we've had her, and they always look after her so well and are so friendly and personable as well! Our dog walks straight in to the kennel with no coaxing - if that isn't praise I don't know what is!

John and Elaine are great. This is our preferred Kennel for boarding our greyhound when we go away. Stevie enjoys his time here every time, the kennels are huge, warm and have beds that is big enough for at least 2 greyhounds to sleep on and they get walked which is a great bonus. We recommend this place to anyone near us who owns greyhound and needs boarding.
John and Elaine are just amazing people who love our pointy nosed friends. My dog Teddy is always well looked after when he boards with them. The kennels are big warm and cosy and have music playing to keep the dogs calm. Exclusively Grey has been a real lifesaver for me and Teddy. I can leave him knowing he is being looked after. I would never consider putting him in a mixed dog kennels. Thankyou John and Elaine

Absolutely amazing place for Freddie and Rayna, John was extremely hospitality and with his years experience it made us feel extremely relaxed leaving our greyhounds knowing that they were in safe hands. When we picked up Freddie and Rayna they almost seemed a little disappointed to be coming back with us and leaving there holiday. Once again thank you very much John!

We've boarded our dog here several times, from a weekend to a fortnight and we couldn't be happier with it. Chappy seems very fond of John and its clear they understand and love greyhounds there.
Dogs love it here. They are well looked after and given medication as directed. One is a faddy eater in kennels and they try hard to tempt her to eat offering different foods. The dogs are also taken for daily walks which they obviously enjoy

Tried to use self service dog wash for my boy but he has spinal condition and is xlarge breed. So unfortunately we couldn't get him in the bath but staff were very Friendly, very understanding and very helpful trying to find solutions for us. Couldn't fault the customer service at all, will definitely recommend to other people. Refunded me without me even asking.
Rhiannon has been grooming our Cockapoo since he was puppy and he absolutely loves her. He always comes back looking and smelling gorgeous and just like a cuddly little teddy bear. Rhiannon is so knowledgeable about all things dogs! So definitely worth asking. Couldn’t recommend her more highly.
The dog wash is an easy & convenient way to wash your dog after a muddy walk. Booking & payment online is really easy & availability was excellent. Great idea - £10 for half an hour - unlimited multiple fragrance shampoos, hot shower, conditioner, towels and a hairdryer - plenty of time to get washed and dried for Barney the Cocker Spaniel. We’ll be going again soon!!!
Second time using the self service dog wash 100% recommend Everything you need to wash your dog is included. It is ten times easier to use the self service dog wash than to wash my dog at home I will be using the service again in the future

I have been using Bobbi to walk my two dogs for nearly a year now. They have also stayed with Bobbi while we have been away. Bobbi is fantastic and you can see she cares very much for them. My dogs can be stubborn at times but Bobbi takes the time to understand what they need and accommodates for this. Highly recommend her for walking and pet care services

Absolutely the best boarding kennels for your beloved dogs and cats. The staff treat your fur babies as if they were their own. We wouldn't trust anyone else with our two dogs
We left our 2 dogs at the kennels for 4 nights for a trip up north to a funeral. When we collected them they came out very happy and they had clearly been looked after well. All the staff there were very caring and even when I rang for updates I didn't feel that I was bothering them. They were happy to tell me how they were getting on. Would definitely recommend these guys and would be happy to leave my dogs again with the knowledge there were cared for well and believe me I really would not leave my dogs just anywhere.
Avoid boarding your small animals here - On arrival we couldn't hear ourselves over dogs barking. Walking up to the office which we could only describe as neglected we were already unsure about dropping our three guinea pigs off here. Already worried about our pigs being distressed due to the noise and proximity of dogs, we were left waiting in the office for 20 minutes for them to even find our booking. We then proceeded to fill out paperwork which took another 15 minutes despite going through the same questions on the phone when booking a month prior. Admin finally done, it was time to drop the guinea pigs off. When we asked the member of staff if we could see the enclosure where they'd be staying we were told rudely "We don't normally do that". Given the experience so far we insisted on dropping them off ourselves which they reluctantly agreed to, but not without another 10 -15 minutes wait. The enclosure was adequately sized however VERY run down, and ground level in a busy walkway on route to the Avery. It was at least full of hay and straw bedding. On return to picking our pigs up, we were barely greeted by the former rude employee who nearly proceeded to charge us the full amount (which was completely different to what we agreed upon over the phone a month prior) as the record of us paying the deposit when booking was not logged correctly. Finally sorting payment we were reunited with our piggies after an 8 days stay. After getting them back home it was apparent that our long-haired piggie received no grooming due to matted hair, which we would have taken as normal. However due to the amount of details they took from us and information on their website concerning the pets we were expecting better care. It was also apparent that the pigs had very little human interaction. To say we are disappointed would be the understatement of the decade! £172.50 for our three pigs to be left in a grotty cage on the floor with little interaction in a walkway. We would have been better off paying friends who have never looked after guinea pigs before! AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Highly recommended. Staff very friendly. Dog came back very happy and settled. Previous kennel he has stayed in he would get quite stressed. Will definitely use next time we go away.
I recently boarded my one year old Chihuahua and I cannot express how impressed I was with the service! I spent weeks looking for the right place as I was extremely nervous leaving my Chi for the first time, the owners were lovely and kind enough to have him with the family doggo's so that he would feel most comfortable and I cannot be thankful enough, it meant I could relax while away and give my Chi the chance to build his confidence around other dogs - he had an amazing time, so much so, to my surprise he didn't want to come back home! He was well looked after and on picking him up, he looked like he had the time of his life there, a really Holiday even for him! I would highly recommend Normandale Kennels, very loving and caring owners and the staff are very friendly and helpful, I have finally found my Chi's second home. Thank you Normandale Kennels & Cattery for such a amazing experience for both us and my Chi.
Great kennels friendly helpful staff my dogs love going there would not use any other kennels they always come back fit and healthy and have eaten well
Lovely family run boarding kennels and Cattery, no hesitation in a 5 star recommendation. Owners and staff are very welcoming to you and more importantly to your Pets. Great facilities for a worry free time away from your pets. Only one negative, they don't provide boarding for humans, I would enjoy a week or two there myself!
