Fabulous housesit. Fabulous owners, fabulous dogs, fabulous home and area to explore. Great communication with Maria before the sit, which continued with a lovely welcome and meal on the the evening we arrived. It was so nice to get to meet the owners properly and get to know Cheiko and Freida. The dogs are an absolute delight and we enjoyed some excellent walks from the house finished off with a visit to the Sawmill cafe. We would 100% recommend this sit.
Amy and Billy were awesome hosts. They made me feel right at home the minute we met. Stella is the sweetest dog!! I think we equally enjoyed the best dog park I've ever seen!! Fell in love with her and miss snuggling and playing tug with such a great fur baby!!!
Good place to visit, Thomas a joy to look after, had a great time.
We had a lovely time looking after Huxley and Kenzo. They were were very affectionate and well behaved. Camilla was very organised and left us lots of helpful notes. It is a nice area to explore, close to the river and lots of nice parks/walks for Huxley and good local pubs and eateries.
This sit was cancelled due to Covid. However, the pre-sit communication was excellent.
This was a very fun sit. Josette communicated well in advance and throughout the sit so there were no surprises. The house is very clean and comfortable and in an interesting part of New Orleans. It was cool to explore an area outside of French Quarter/downtown. The house has a very nice yard and an excellent workout area for those so inclined. The kitchen is well stocked with pans, dishes, spices, etc. Ned and Hank are two big lovable guys. They were very sweet and there were no problems with them. They are both quite large, so this is a sit that requires quite a bit of strength. I'm 210# and needed it when walking them. In the house, they were quite fun and wanted to be in on the action. We were able to walk, uber and bus to wherever needed, so being without a car was not a problem for us. There are some very pretty lakeview walks nearby and several good restaurants.
