It was an absolute pleasure to sit for Malia and Jeremy in sunny Portland! We just finished out a weekend stay taking care of their beautiful home and loving pets. By the time Sunday rolled around, we were honestly sad to leave! We enjoyed shady walks with their two friendly Havapoos, Harley Quinn and Luna Girl, along the Trolley Trail (a walking path just a few steps from their front door), and spent many lazy hours lounging with them on the porch. Their cat Ramon enjoyed exploring the top of our van while their other cat Charlie hid cozily in the house. It was especially exciting to care for their bearded dragon, Spikebeard, whom we fed a daily serving of greens and live crickets! Malia and Jeremy have a beautiful, comfortable home with a great fenced in yard for the dogs to play in. Our time there was very peaceful and relaxing. They are also conveniently located just 5-10 minutes drive from the downtown Milwaukie area, which has a nice little strip of coffee shops and restaurants. It took very little time for us to feel right at home! Malia was incredibly easy to communicate with prior to and during our stay. Upon our arrival she supplied us with a "Welcome packet" which outlined care instructions and other helpful information about their pets and home. Additionally, they sent over a ton of local recommendations from restaurants to walking trails. This was super helpful as this was our first time in the Portland area, and there's quite a bit to do! From start to finish, we had a blast sitting for this family and would be happy to sit for them again anytime!
This was a great house sit! The home is beautiful and spacious. Alice was super helpful in leaving detailed instructions and the animals were easy to care for. Ringo is a very active and friendly dog and Mr. Nibbles is super chill. The location could not be more perfect with easy access to shopping and entertainment. Thanks Alice!
I had a wonderful time sitting for Benji. He is a beautiful and well behaved boy who loves night time cuddles almost as much a he loves food. Which is a lot! Rebecca and Mark have a beautiful house in a peaceful street near the river, which is perfect for walking Benji. Communication was great and Rebecca supplied a welcome pack and personal handover with all the information I could have ever needed. This was a wonderful house sit and I hope to have the pleasure of sitting Benji again some day.
This was a lovely sit. The house is in a great location. The pets are absolute sweethearts. And the owners are genuinely pleasant with a house you could happily stay in for weeks.
I had a wonderful time at Nimcy’s with sweet Bruno! Nimcy is a fantastic host, she is very kind and accommodating and her condo is lovely, I had such a great stay :). Bruno is a sweet and gentle pup who loves treats, taking naps, and going on walks. He is a senior dog but you’d never know it because he’s in excellent shape and scampers about like he’s a puppy again! I loved spending time with and caring for him, he’s absolutely adorable :).
