Sitting Bear and Bailey has been a blast. After travelling for a few weeks as a typical tourist arriving at Megan’s house was like checking into a retreat ;) The beautiful and clean house in total tranquillity gave me a safe space to recharge and explore the area with the two lovely doggies. They travel well in the car (my journeys were up to 50min) and are open for adventures at the beach or on the local trails. Bailey is the older one and she needs more breaks, while I was throwing the ball for Bear who definitely needs his exercise. There is a wonderful dog park in Novato with an excellent coffee shop nearby. The sit is doable by public transport with approx. 25min walk to the house but you enjoy it sooooo much more when you have a car! The beaches are just under an hour away and several trails between approx.. 15 – 20min by car. Also for shopping you might need a car. The fact that Megan also travels as a dog-sitter helped a lot with communication and expectations towards one another – I always had the feeling she knows exactly what I needed. I loved sending her pictures of my outings with the dogs. Megan, thank you so much and maybe see you next year on another one of my California road trips ;)
I had such an amazing time watching Manny and Louie. Louie is so sweet and gets so cuddly after a few days and Manny is the sweetest and so so chill. I had such a good time going on walks with him, or just laying around the house! The house is beautiful and very cozy for working from there or just hanging out. Maggie and Lucas were super welcoming and were very communicative. I would definitely love to sit again for them!
This only downside to this sit is that it was so brief! Ted and Luna took all of about an hour to become my best friends. They both have lovely high-pitched chirps and tended to follow me round, watching what their new human slave was doing :) I did a quick handover with Bryony when I arrived. Everything was very straightforward, great location in Redland, next time I'm back I will have to try the nearby bakery. Highly recommended sit, a lovely flat and very much want to return, hopefully for a little longer next time!
This was our first sit with Rachel and Anton and we absolutely loved it. Their place is amazing. We totally fell in love with the pets and are already looking forward to see them soon again. Sandy is a sweetheart. She will follow you everywhere. She loved to stay in bed with us during the night and she is the biggest cuddler. Pocky is great, she is 22 but in a really good shape. She joined us for video calls when we were working and even joined us in bed. Sushi is shy but also very cute. She loves to sleep under the blanket and when she feels comfortable she will cuddle with you as well. The Appartement is amazing. It’s flooded with light, cozy and very well located. It was miraculous clean and very well prepared for us. We met Rachel and Anton already last December to get to know them and the pets. They were welcoming and kind from the first time we met them. They were reachable during the whole time we spend with their pets and always replied to our questions very quick. Thank you Rachel and Anton for trusting us with your pets. We are already looking forward to spend more time with them ❤️
It was a lovely stay in the beautiful house from Kim & John. The neighbourhood is close to the city of Perth and close to big shopping malls. Every morning we did a walk with Pippin and Ace and they loved it. They are sweet dogs and as soon as they know you they like the attention and like to cuddle. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much Kim & John.
I had such a fantastic sit with these two precious dogs. Well mannered, easy to walk together and very easy going. The location of Liam and Heidi's amazing, new townhouse is great if you like to explore the city and utilize the metro train system which is minutes from their home AND next to the GW Boutique! I can't wait to go back!
