Thank you Lorraine and Paul for the wonderful opportunity of looking after your property and animals. Thank you too for your warm welcome. We felt immediately at home and enjoyed spending the evening with you. You made all that we had to do very clear to us. Your home was very comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. It is a credit to you. We also appreciated your property and beautiful garden. We loved Rufus, Jock and Lulu, and delighted in their unique characters. They were very good company. It was a particular thrill to look after Vicki the magpie. We loved visiting the Maitland region again and a visit to the Hunter Valley one day was really enjoyable. Rhondda and Bob Anthony
What a wonderful sit. Nice house in a nice location. The 'children' were an absolute pleasure. Emma and Rohen are great pet parents and have the them very well trained. Thanks for the opportunity.
We had an awesome time caring for Stephanie and Jacob’s adorable cat duo in their Wilmington home! Even before entering the household, we were tickled to see their two fuzzy faces peeking out the window to see who was there. We were elated they felt comfortable enough to immediately approach us, and after some greetings and petting to say “hello”, they were by our sides. We very much enjoyed lounging together on the screened-in porch, which is where Tammy (the female of the pair) loves spending most of her time. She has a ton of personality, is a total ham for her cat brush, and is one of the sweetest felines you’ll ever meet. The male, Tommy, is a total character, who is extremely laid-back and social. When he isn’t in the window hammock along with Tammy keeping “neighborhood watch”, you’ll most likely find him on his favorite spot on top of the couch. Tommy is always up for chin scratches, belly rubs, and a nap. Both cats are an absolute breeze to tend to, as Stephanie and Jacob have done an exceptional job in preparing clear instructions anyone can follow. The cats are well behaved during feeding times, and are especially patient during wet food meal prep. Daily tasks of keeping their water fountain and dry food bowls topped off, along with scooping their litter box, are simple and straight-forward. Stephanie and Jacob were lovely to chat with, and are efficient communicators, which made the entire THS process and onsite sit as seamless as possible. We very much appreciated the thorough Welcome Guide they set out for us, which outlined clear instructions regarding everything house and pet related. Also included was a fabulous Wilmington Visitor’s Guide, which you can tell they put a lot of time and thought into creating for out-of-towners. Everything we needed for a successful sit was provided, and their hospitality and graciousness will not be forgotten. We are grateful they trusted us to care for their sweet fur-babies in their tranquil home, and would gladly return again!
We had a lovely time staying in Ilana and Nicolas’s flat. It is so comfortable and in a great location too. They are really friendly and welcoming and it was great that Nicola’s set up a What’s app group the week before our sit so we could chat and ask questions about Mezcal and the flat. Nicolas was there to greet us and also gave us a great list of bars and restaurants in the area - of which there are many. There’s also lots of great bakeries and delis. But the star of the show is Mezcal their Siberian cat. She was a bit timid at first but was soon bringing us her toys to play with her. She also likes racing up and down stairs after her toy mice. She also loves jumping up on top of the kitchen units and sitting in wash hand basins so we were able to send Ilana and Nicolas some great pics of her. She was an absolute delight to be with and so friendly and entertaining. We loved our weekend and would be happy to spend time again with Mezcal in this lovely flat- thank you for choosing us.
Jessy and her family were amazing! She gave us all the instructions, and prepared the house for us. We had the chance to meet them a couple days before, which was great. Jackie, the dog, is very cute and loves cuddling, and Who Dey got our friend really fast. We have loved the experience with this family.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying with Remy! He is a cute, smart, well behaved, loving dog. He has lots of energy, friendly and still very quiet. We loved our walks and enjoyed watching TV together. We miss him already!! Jean's house was in lovely Lynn Valley area of North Vancouver. The house was very clean and organized. Jean was very responsive with communications. We would highly recommend this sit and would love to do it again!
