I had the absolute pleasure of undertaking my 1st THS house/pet-sit looking after gorgeous Sulu, some very comical hens and Caroline and Jamie’s incredible house and idyllic grounds. From the outset, Caroline was very welcoming, helpful, informative and always on hand throughout the sit if any queries came about. The house was spotless, warm, incredibly comfortable and a stunning space to spend time in and had everything I could possibly need to make my stay brilliant. The bedroom and en suite I stayed in was so well thought out and I had the best sleep I’ve had in a long time. The AGA was a brilliant heat source, cooker and clothes dryer! Sulu is a lovely, friendly, well-behaved, house-trained dog who, as well as enjoying sprinting around the stunning woodland and fields surrounding the house & beyond, was happy to sit by the fire and snooze away post-walk. It was a privilege to have freshly laid eggs every day and there was an abundance of wildlife in the garden to enjoy. I felt very lucky to be given the opportunity to do this sit and would jump at the chance in a heart beat should the opportunity arise again. Thank you so much Caroline & Jamie.

I was looking for a local dog trainer and to my surprise found Maria a couple of minutes away from where I live! I have a 2 year old rescue skittish border collie boy and wanted to develop my bond with him to help him settle and start behaviour training. The training is fun, very varied and extremely informing together with an additional online lesson in behaviour I understand my dogs anxieties and excitement levels so much more. The bond I’ve developed with Arlo has improved so much over the six week course and I’ve enrolled for the next course too as I’d love to see where this takes me & my new best friend. Maria and the team are very friendly, personable and really care about everything they do with the dogs and their humans. Looking forward to the next chapter.
I could not recommend Maria more highly. She walks our lab Bella 🐕🦺 3 days a week and has helped out with additional walks when work commitments have needed. She genuinely cares for the dogs and knows Bella’s anxieties and likes. Bella loves water, mud, puddles, sticks and fields and she gets plenty of this on walks. Maria is very knowledgeable and highly skilled ( please see her credentials). Very professional and reliable. She is doggy first aid trained which was important to us. Started with a clueless puppy requiring a good “education” on all aspects of what was expected for a happy dog and equally happy owners. With the help and guidance from Maria and Heidi we got exactly what we needed; all the “tools” required to continue with our training. Our dog has enjoyed learning as it’s been structured to be fun. Maria was wonderful and very reliable. She collected Willow from home and brought her back after a good walk and socialisation with other dogs, which was far better than her going to doggy day care, which she didn't enjoy at all. Would definitely recommend Maria if your dog is overwhelmed in the doggy day care environment. Thank you Maria.
We booked a couple of sessions with Maria as soon as we brought our puppy home. We also attended puppy and progression classes. Maria is welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble and she is always on the end of the phone, should you need advice or supplies. It has been a pleasure to attend the weekly classes. We have learnt so much and it was always fun as well as informative. If you are looking for a local dog trainer or behaviourist, then I would highly recommend Four Paws and Trails.
We attended one of Maria's dog training courses when we adopted our first dog (a rescue). The course was very well organised while still being relaxed, we learned some really good tips and training exercises and our dog showed some real improvements in just 6 weeks. (Well, we showed some improvements as it was about training us as much as the dog!). Maria was patient, knowledgeable and friendly throughout and we can't recommend her services enough.
Maria has been walking our Pippa for the past 18 months and she has been amazing! She’s brilliant with Pippa and has been great at not just walking but also giving snippets of advice when we’ve needed it along Pippa’s training journey! Maria is flexible and has even looked even Pippa for an afternoon when work commitments have come up unexpectedly. I trust her completely with Pippa, which is exactly what you want in a dog walker! We really fell on our feet when we met Maria and started our one to one sessions with her. She is a fabulous dog trainer and really takes the time to talk about how the dogs brain works so you can better understand your furry friend. All training is undertaken with a gentle approach. Maria's group sessions are brilliant and so welcoming. We really enjoyed going as a family. Highly recommended!
Maria has been walking my dog for nearly a year now, he's come on leaps and bounds, hes built muscle and looks fitter (he's nearly 10!) Marie gives excellent advice, i know i can always turn to her for sound advice! She adores the dogs she walks and prince is always very happy/eager to go with her, get in the van and enjoy himself. Marie is very professional, always gaining additional training- completing training course etc I would highly recommend Marie to anyone, she's trustworthy and overall a very lovely lady!
Furry Friends pet care services is by far the best pet care service we have ever used. Barry was so friendly and a great communicator. He would send us videos and photos of our pets every day. We felt really reassured whilst we were away and knew our pets were in the best hands. I would highly recommend Furry Friends to anyone who is looking for a pet sitter. Sent my boys here for a week while we were away. Sarah could not have been more helpful and offered not only accommodation for them but gave them regular grooming and was happy to send me photos so my little one could check on them. Compared to others I’ve used it was more expensive but I believe it is justified for the level of service and just a really good feeling about the place and the business. Will use again!
For a little over a year, Barrie and Sarah have been looking after my 2 furry floofs. The cattery itself is both spacious and stunning. Barrie and Sarah both truly excel in their care and attention. The genuine affection and dedication they provide offers a sense of comfort and assurance while I'm away. The daily pics and videos makes my day! Used Barry's visiting/feeding service for a week whilst on holiday. Absolutely fantastic. Was sent daily updates via WhatsApp. Home left safe and secure and even put the bins out. My cat is currently waiting at the gate for Barry......
Barrie and Sarah have been walking and boarding my two noisy terriers for the last 7 years. They have been extremely reliable, flexible and able to deal with my shift pattern work at short notice. Their rates are competitive but most of all, they treat my boys as their own and I trust them completely. I would recommend them without a second thought.

Furry Friends were highly recommended by our friend and we are so glad we got that recommendation. What a lovely couple, we always get an update about our dogs being walked and doing well( we are a bit of a last minute customer so thank you for always looking after us when we need you guys). When we finally went away on a holiday last year we left our cats at home under the care of Barrie and Sarah and they were fantastic. They were not phased by our lengthy book on how to look after our kitties. We came back and everyone was super happy and relaxed in the comfort of their own home and we got to see it all thanks to the video updates from Furry Friend visits to our house. I’ve boarded Lady with Sarah & Barry for nearly 3 years now. I would highly recommend them, she always enjoys her stays and as a rescue she can be wary. She’s been with me for 3 years nearly and they have been my first point of call whenever I’ve needed to go away without Lady. I recently recommended my mum to book her cats into the new cattery. Although full they were able to do home visits and sent her daily updates. She was very impressed and happy.

Did a great job with our shy cat. Very thorough and professional; obviously take the wellbeing of the animals they care for very seriously. Also insisted on refunding part of our money when we had to cancel a few of the days we'd booked, although we made it clear we were happy to pay the full amount. Had my first dog from there Bess cairn terrier my baby she was nice people good kennels
Looks nice enough and is clean. For my dog, 10 minutes in the yard 3 times a day may not be enough and the kennels were quite noisy. The staff seem to really like the dogs and were enjoying looking after them and they were nice to my dog when he visited. Checked his vaccinations before he entered the kennels so they are health and safety conscious. Overall a good kennel but maybe not the right place for my pup.
Been leaving our collie Sky at Riverside for the past few years, and with Sky being a little apprehencive with new people, we were a little worried at first. Lesley and her team put her and us at ease, with Sky having no qualm getting in the car knowing where she is heading off to Can't rate this kennel highly enough, Lesley and her team provide an outstanding service, With friendly experianced staff, that can accommodate any care and needs, which your beloved K9 may require. 1st time for our dogs kiera and blue to stay at Riverside and will definitely be 1st of many. they had an enormous size kennel and run . the staff were very interested in knowing their personalities so they had the best stay possible ❤ I loved seeing the video of them playing. I always bath them after any stay at a kennels but I honestly really didn't need to they had been kept so clean and lovely ☺ the owners and the kennel hand girls were truly amazing with them . they arent the easiest of dogs very particular lol 😆 but they had the best time . we have definitely found their forever holiday stay for the future 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

I can't recommend this kennels enough. I've taken my dogs here a couple times before and my dogs love it. They're always excited to go and never seem to want to leave! My labrador is a particularly nervous dog who doesn't like people but she is always so excited to see all of the staff here, they've really put in the effort (and the treats) to gain her trust. Our dogs were here over bonfire night this year, which I was nervous about as both dogs are scared of fireworks. Riverside Kennels went out of their way to provide comfort and security for the dogs, even ensuring they had a 'den' to hide in. If you're looking for a kennels that genuinely care for each dog as their own, then look no further.
I left my dog there for the 1st time over new year. He isn't left very often & I was extremely happy with the love & care he received. I saw him on a Facebook video which put my mind at rest. He seemed very happy & will definitely be using there again. Thank you Riverside for taking great care of Frankie.
Our dogs have visited for the second time this year & they seem to love it.The kennels are a nice size with plenty of warm blankets in the beds,as well as heat lamps. The staff are lovely,friendly,very helpful & professional
Booked my dog in here over the phone. Was told they would take him asked if I needed to bring anything with him I was told no just bring your dog and any of his toys or blankets.. on the day I arrived I was told I needed my dogs full medical history. Would not have been a problem. If I was told but i live a hour away and was on way straight to air port . Long story short cos of this bunch of cow boys I missed my plane recked my holiday.. all in all bunch of idiots .. go anywhere but here if you can
I completely trust riverside with my fur babies Dottie and Wilson are always well looked after and the owners truly care and give love to your fur babies while your away and videos on fb help when your missing your dogs

Ali and Chris have looked after my dog Pippa for the past couple of years and I can’t recommend them enough. She looks out the window for them before every walk and gets so excited when the van parks up. She always comes back a happy dog and sleeps all afternoon so I can tell she’s had a great time. Both very friendly and have always been reliable!

Hi everyone. I would like to share my experience with everyone who love dogs. Sally is a best!!!! Our working cocker spaniel Nessy loves to go to see Sally. When I say to Nessy that we are going to Sally then she will sit next to main door and can’t wait till we go. She takes them every day for very long walk and not just Nessy but all dogs loves it. We would never go to anyone else. Thank you sooo much Sally for everything.🤩
Happy Paws has been the best and only place we leave a little pooch! Sally has been great with him and he loves going there. She follows our guidance and feeding plan and our pooch comes back happy every time. She has been great with assisting with his training and ensures our pooch is well looked after! Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend Sally as dog sitter and boarder. Always available to look after Marlo and never says no - always accommodating. She loves dogs so much and can see when we drop our dog is tail can’t stop wagging. We know he has so much for with the updates and videos Sally sends us which is so nice to see he’s having fun and enjoying himself. Sally has been looking after my girl Bella once or twice a week since we rescued her in September and she has been amazing!! Bella loves her time there and gets to play with lots of other dogs and have big long walks, she loves going. She always comes back tired out from playing which is a bonus! Would very highly recommend Happy Paws Leicester to anybody who needs doggy daycare or just wants their dog to be able to socialise with other dogs.
Sally has looked after my much loved dog since she was little. I wouldn’t leave her with anyone else. She cares about her welfare and my dog literally bounds into her house. Whilst I’m at work I get videos and pictures of the fun my dog is having on her daily walks, which is always lovely to see. When we were on holiday, Sally spotted a potential problem and took her to the vets to be checked over, which was really reassuring and thankfully all was well. I can’t recommend Sally highly enough!
Sally is totally amazing! I wouldn't trust my dog with anyone else. My dog can be difficult in situations he is unaware of but he loves going to Happy Paws Leicester and Sally does a fantastic job of looking after him. Would totally recommend.

Boarded our Jack Russell with Dogs and Digs for a week whilst we were on holiday. She doesn't cope well with kennels, so we really wanted a home from home enviroment for her, and that is exactly what she got and more. Pip has looked after her beautifully, sending regular texts, photos and updates on her stay, showing her as fully relaxed and happy and loving every minute of being there. Our Evie can often have trouble with bigger dogs, but the obvious experience of Pip in handling her enabled her to socialise with many other dogs, and get along with all of them. Evie was dropped home to us after I'd had chance to unpack a few things and have a cuppa, which was just an extra lovely reflection of the care taken in looking after her. I can thoroughly recommend this business for all your doggy care needs, and will be booking Evie in for occasional visits to her new friends. Thank you very much Pip and family :)
Our springer collie Moss loves going to stay at Dogs and Digs, and is visibly excited as we approach! It is genuinely a home from home where he can be in and out of the garden all day. Brilliant care. We enjoy our holiday knowing how happy Moss is, at Pip’s House. Highly recommended.

My Labrador Stanley absolutely loves going to daycare at WAGS and has been going regularly since he was a puppy. Everyone who works there is great and I know he is well looked after. Thank you to the team, we would absolutely recommend WAGS for daycare and for kennel stays
Our 2 British Bulldogs have been twice now (both times poured with rain) they happily went off with the girls taking them in without a backwards glance at us. Hoping for a dryer day when they go again Thursday - a big thank you to everyone there we were very nervous about leaving them as at 15 months old have never been away from us. Now looking forward to them going to enjoy time with friends.
We couldn’t recommend Wags enough!! They are amazing with our dog and she is always so excited to get to daycare in the morning! My work schedule can change at times and Wags are so flexible which is amazing. Our dog is always knackered after a day at daycare and has a big snooze the next day. I know she absolutely loves it there!
Alfie is always very excited and happy to go to Wags, whether for daycare or staying in kennels. Everyone who works there is very helpful and caring of the dogs so I know that he will be well looked after and have no worries leaving him in their capable hands. For me, the flexibility of the daycare is a bonus as I am not tied to the same day each week. I am very happy to recommend Wags both for daycare and longer stays in kennels.

They have always looked after Monty really well and he always runs straight into Wags excited for the fun day ahead! Communication is great and really helpful and flexible at all times. I would thoroughly recommend for any daycare needs. Monty has been going for almost two years now and we've only ever had positive experiences.
My dog has just come from her doggy holiday at Wags. This is her 2nd year of going and she absolutely loves it. Staff are brilliant and keeps us updated and send videos. So happy with their service and will continue to use.

When we arrived, there was an uncleaned whole poo, as well as smears in the cage our dogs were staying in (I say cage as it certainly wasn’t luxury as advertised on the website). It hadn’t been cleaned and there was no water in there. We were surprised when we were told to take the leads and harnesses home with us as the dogs weren’t going to be walked, just let outside. We had a flight to catch but arranged for my brother to pick the dogs up as soon as he could which was unfortunately a few days later. I tried calling 17 times during the advertised opening hours before getting through to make them aware the dogs would be collected because of my concerns. The owner did not acknowledge or address any of my concerns and just said ‘well best take them somewhere else then’. When my brother went to collect them, she told him I was very rude to her on the phone, which given the circumstances is completely untrue and totally unprofessional. I had another stay booked here but have cancelled it and am comfortable knowing our trip might have to be replanned rather than leave our dogs here again. **update to this review. My brother picked up the dogs and the morning after noticed one of the has a water infection which is passed on through poo… probably the poo they left in the cage.**
Took our puppy here for his first kennel stay for 5 days. Very nervous but when we picked him up he was so happy and even had a new little bandana on! Really warmed up to the staff and obviously enjoyed his time! Will be using these kennels again!
Not happy with our experience here. The staff seem nice but their standards are not. Our dog came home anorexic, severely dehydrated and with diarrhoea. Clearly they had not been eating and the staff had failed to notice or even do anything about it. The whole place stank of pee and no wonder, each cage was full of pee and poo (clearly they had not been walked enough) I see a lot of reviews saying how the staff must care a lot for their dogs, and that's fair enough i did think they were nice. I just don't see how someone could love animals so much but leave them in that state. My dog was washed thoroughly when they got home as they stank of pee and had poo all over them. I would not advice sending your dogs here I would actually choose not to go away if it meant leaving them here.

Booked my dog in for 5 nights based on the good reviews, but my experience hasn't been positive what so ever. Owners seemed friendly, site was relatively pleasing to the eye on arrival, although I half expected someone to greet me on the porch playing a banjo. Upon walking into the kennels the horror started. Whole place smelled like smashed sh!t and the rooms that food etc kept in were very disorganised and cluttered. Sharon the owner said that she would send videos of my dog whilst I was away, but after 2 and a half days I'd heard nothing so decided to check in. Replied a couple of hours later to tell me that my dog doesn't like kennels full stop, she'd tried 4 different kennels and she wouldn't settle and said it was because I'd spoilt her. We decided the best idea was to get her picked up early as she was very distressed. Tried to get her collected that night by a family member which was bizarrely fine for the owner one minute, then too late the next, so arranged for the next day. Upon collection the owner told us that she had lost her daily medication (apoquel) which is absolutely disgraceful. Said she hadn't had it that morning, so God knows when she last did or where it went. Thankfully the meds aren't life critical, god knows what we'd have done if they were. Grain free dry food supplied in a bag has been returned in a clear box with 2 other dogs names on, so I'm not even sure it's the right food. Told she would find it and get in touch, 5 days later still nothing and my last message is still unread. If you love your dog and want them to be given proper care & attention and looked after the right way, avoid this place.
I cannot recommend Sharon & the Grange Boarding Kennels enough, she is the most lovely, caring and kind lady. Her customer service is second to none, the last time we took our sausage dog puppy to her, my 3 year old daughter was upset & tired; Sharon went out of her way to give her a lovely gift to cheer her up. Not to mention my pup gets so so excited to see her and to be there when we take him back, it’s genuinely like a holiday for him- he loves it. The grounds & gardens are lovely too. They have a wonderful bond, she looks after him so well. 5 stars!!! Thank you Sharon Xxxx

Love this place , clean, doesn't smell, seen first time when i went to drop my girls off, just now. Standards are very high, owner very friendly and welcoming, I am sure, my Girls, will be back next year.
My dogs are 14yrs and 11yrs old , they were well looked after, clean and had their medicine correctly, you can tell our dogs did ok while staying at these kennels.
Collected my dog from the kennels today after having her for 5 days and I am so happy with the service she was happy seemed confortable and the staff are lovely both to you and your dog, the grounds of the kennels are amazing and plenty of room for you dog to run around. And if you are a dog lover like me there are plenty of there own dogs that are friendly and will allow you to pet them. Over the moon with this kennels and would happy put my Ruby in there again
