I absolutely loved getting to know Minnie, she is the happiest, smiliest pup- so intelligent and enthusiastic, she’s great fun and made me laugh so much! Minnie absolutely loves to play, but she is equally cuddly and affectionate- just an absolute joy to look after! I can’t rave about her enough- I’m missing her so much already! Jaki and Tom made me feel so at home in their beautiful house, and made sure I was settled and connected for my stay. Their home is in a brilliant location, a friendly community neighbourhood within spitting distance of the city centre! Thank you so much Jaki and Tom- I couldn’t have imagined a better sit experience, I can’t wait to see you guys again soon!
This is the BEST kind of housesit any house sitter could wish for! The 'kids': Coco and Poppy were just fabulous adorable sweet little Chihuahuas. Poppy has loads of character and a sense of humour to boot, she had me in stitches on many occasion and Coco is very laid back and loving, the easy gentle soul. They are wonderfully affectionate easy going darlings. Our walks to the beach to play and run was the highlight of my day. They are superbly attentive to the gentlest instruction (apart from when there is a monkey in the garden to chase!) and absolute credit to their owners. Mum and Dad: Gemma and Corey are truly the LOVELIEST kindest and most easy going thoughtful hosts. They were so appreciative and expressed unbound gratitude and generosity by extending their home and adorable family to me. I felt honoured to be looking after their beautiful babies and they made me feel truly welcome and at ease from the minute we met. Thank you guys! The Nest: Simply amazing house, superb location, airy, light, cool, pool, two minutes to the beach and all made super cosy and welcoming by Gemma and Corey's lovely homey touches! Location: Barbados is of course stunning, the quintessential Caribbean paradise. Thank you so so much Gemma, Corey, Poppy and Coco, you are the best! Please pick me again if you need another playmate for the 'kids'!
Petra got two incredible fun cats that are so sweet together. Enjoyed a lot of cuddles and play with them. Easy going cats and also good communication and a great apartment in the middle of the city. Would definitely sit here again
I had a great experience caring for Bitzy & Rocky. They are sweet, easy to care for and love to go on their walks together. Linda & Gene's home is beautiful and in the perfect area about a mile off the beach. You can easily walk to the local Publix supermarket and other businesses within 5 minutes and also a few restaurants. There is a trolley that goes to the beach and back regularly if you prefer not to drive. Their home is on the water so it's easy to paddleboard too. If you get the opportunity, you'll definitely enjoy a pet sit with the girls.
Wendy is absolutely lovely and it was such a pleasure to look after her gorgeous home! Her fur babies are great characters who love lots of walks and cuddles on the couch. They are great are letting you know what they want - very smart doggies! I fell in love with them and miss them so much! The neighbourhood is beautiful and has lots of stunning walking trails around, and it's only a 30 minute walk to downtown. I very much looking forward to housesitting for Wendy again in the future and highly recommend looking after her home and doggies if you get the opportunity.
Pickles is the headliner at Robyn and Sam's place. Energetic, playful, and always ready to throw the ball in the yard, she was great fun to spend time with. Banjo, plays second fiddle to Pickles but is a sweet, generous little guy with so much patience for his bigger little sister. And Lizzy, well she's a curious lizard who enjoys her cockroaches and throwing her salad all around her terrarium. Robyn and Sam's place is comfortable, quiet, and in an out-of-the-way neighborhood so there is no through traffic. Zilker Park is 10-20 minutes away by car depending on the time of day and there are several restaurants closer still. The enclosed seating area is really nice and the dog's fenced area is an easy place for them to run off energy or keep an eye on the neighborhood dogs. We had a great stay and hope we get a chance to come back again!
