Life takes lemons and turns them into lemonade and this pet sit was the sweetest lemonade!! When Diane first reached out to ask us to pet sit for Max unfortunately the timing did not work. Then weeks later, after a cancellation, I saw the pet sit listed again and saw the timing now worked with our schedule so I reached out to Diane and we both agreed it was meant to be! How to describe Max?... well this handsome almost 2 year year old lab was unbelievably easy to fall in love with immediately, from his friendly and playful demeanor to his beautiful shiny coat. He was lovable and oh so sweet at giving and receiving affection... yet also very independent and content entertaining himself in-between walks/frisbee sessions. It never ceased to amaze us how well behaved and well trained he was. He even dropped his frisbee at your feet unprovoked and patiently sat after each throw and if you knew the excitement level in those eyes of his that was no easy task! Diane and Mitch were incredibly organized, welcoming, and kindhearted hosts. We had a wonderful time communicating over the week and Diane was very appreciative of the pictures and videos I sent and all the love and exercise Max received. Diane and Mitch kept their beautiful home immaculate. Chad and I were very impressed and even joked that was the cleanest garage we have ever seen and probably will ever see! And what a quiet and serene neighborhood with so many beautiful walking paths and green areas to exercise Max. Chad and Max had the best time playing frisbee 3 or 4 times a day as I was the designated videographer and cheerleader for his impressive catches! (Max was limited to approximately 13 throws each session because he legit would have chased frisbees til his poor legs fell off.) Of course I shed a few tears leaving this sit and still miss Max as I write this but I know we will be reunited in the future so until then Max keep practicing those impressive long distance, mid-air frisbee catches you will go pro in no time at all ;-) This feedback was probably way too long but in conclusion, we highly recommend this sit and thank you again so much Diane for initially reaching out to us to care for Max it definitely felt meant to be!
My stay at Ines's place in Berlin was great! Before the stay we talked about all the necessary details on the phone and when I arrived, everything was exactly as I had expected: clean, tidy and cosy. Mimi is a really sweet and interested cat who loves cuddles and attention. When I had to work, she often sat on my lap, watched what was happening and made me laugh! The area is really relaxed and quiet - plus a supermarket and a subway station round the corner: a perfect neighbourhood! All in all, I had an excellent week in Berlin and I would gladly come back again, if Ines is in need of a sitter for Mimi again!
Carrie & Dom have a beautiful, clean, and spacious home in a wonderful area. And then there is the delightful animal crew! Isabelle, Fritz, Little and Pigeon are a constant source of joy and entertainment. This was a wonderful pet sit.
We absolutely loved our sit for Greg & Selene, a wonderful couple who make you feel right at home. We met them a day earlier and they provided clear instructions and all the details we needed to run the household and care for the boys. Their home is beautifully designed, super clean, with everything you would need and very conveniently located - walking distance to the beach, supermarket, and the best ceviche place. We especially enjoyed the rooftop terrace with the pools and view. Safe neighbourhood and excellent WIFI for working remote. Chapies and Avena are the most sweetest, perfect cats! Independent but still very affectionate, and exceptionally well behaved. They love to snuggle next to you wherever you are, or sleep by your feet at night in bed. The fish are also easy to care for. We had a wonderful experience and we would definitely like to return if given the opportunity to sit for them again. Thank you Greg and Selene for your kindness and hospitality.
Tullie is so hospitable it made me think of moving to Australia for a second and louis is a funny cat of a dog; low maintenance. Tullie's home is warm and welcoming and the location is unbeatable in the heart of manhattan and next to many attractions (Broadway) and great dining spots. Had a very relaxing and productive stay in good company. Not sure what more to say, all was excellent...
Beautiful experience in a beautiful place with the kings Coco and Pancho. Nico and Anita live in a beautiful house of exquisite taste with good books and beautiful objects. What can I say about Coco? It is always moving for me to take care of a sick animal, Coco has a lot of character and I wish with all my heart that he gets well. It is also a lot of fun to be around him. Pancho is serene and calm, he seems to know a lot of things! Thanks Nico and Anita.
