Brooke was a warm and accomodating host leaving me the most delicious wine on arrival. The house was spotless and so cosy to be in. Cats are so shy at first but definitely warm up after a few days. Particularly Amora, who will sit on your lap and purr away. My favourite part of the day was my morning coffee on the beautiful balcony overlooking the trees.
This was a great Sit. Margo had everything really organized for me, and Liza (the dog) was the perfect walking partner. I've had dogs all my life, and I have to say that Liza is the most polite dog I've ever met. Even when she needs or wants something, she gently lets you know. She loves to walk too, whether in the neighborhood or treks we took to parks and nature preserves. If you're in the Wilmington area when Margo, Joe, and Liza need a sitter, I highly recommend you sit for them. A 5 star, perfect sit.
Staying at my Elena’s place was a delight! The apartment was cozy, clean, and bright. Elena was kind and communicative with clear instructions. Plus, Junie was the sweetest companion during my time there (and possibly the cuddliest cat ever). Not only that, she has a lot of energy, so I enjoyed playing with her. Overall, it was a great short stay!
I loved my stay with DJ and Mina! They’re such sweet cats and great home office “coworkers.” Michelle was such a kind host and made me feel at home. She has a beautiful apartment, with lots of natural light on a quiet street. The location is perfect, just a short walk from Parque Mexico and tons of restaurants and cafes. I’d love to come back in the future!
We had a nice time with Paco and Sooki. Paco is very energetic, gets very excited and active on walks and looks for many cuddles at home. Sooki is very calm and elegant, and has a very endearing personality. Both are very easy to take care of. The apartment has a nice terrace and all the necessary amenities. It is well located by a nice park and a couple blocks from the train. Communication with Benji was easy from start to finish, and both him and Shlomi were very hospitable. We had an enjoyable stay and would happily repeat this sit!
It was a treat to look after Ben for a few days. He's a lovely dog, good natured and well behaved. Communication with Jacquie before the sit was easy and efficient. As she wasn't around on our arrival, Charlie greeted us and introduced us to Ben. He explained the ins and outs of caring for Ben and the house, making us feel at home. The house and garden are fabulous - it was a real privilege to stay there. The surrounding fields made walks with Ben easy. At this time of year the wild flowers were spectacular. A highly recommended house sit.
