I had a WONDERFUL stay at Kerry and Allan's! Their home is so lovely, and I had a little cottage to myself, which was ideal for coming earlier. They were so friendly and helpful, happy to pick me up etc. Django is just the sweetest dog, and so easy to look after, he just loved keeping me company. It's a really peaceful area, ideal for working remote and relaxing. I'd happily return!
We recently had the pleasure of house-sitting for Penny, and it was a fantastic experience. The house is beautiful and in a great location. Penny's communication was excellent and very clear. She provided helpful recommendations that made our stay even better. We would gladly house-sit for her again in the future!
I had a lovey time pet/house sitting for Tina and Paul. They are a very welcoming and friendly couple. They have a beautiful home and garden only 40 minutes away from some lovely beaches. Their 3 lovely cats were a delight to look after, each with their own individual personalities and Habits. I would recommend this sit to everyone.
Jackie & Chris were incredibly welcoming & generous hosts who made us feel right at home. They have the loveliest bunch of cats you could ask for (especially Ollie with all the cuddles) and two fantastic dogs with so much character. We had a wonderful time on beautiful Gabriola Island (beaches, forests & lots of wildlife) and would absolutely recommend Jackie & Chris to all potential sitters :) Thanks again & please give the boys a cuddle from us; we're missing them already!
Alex and Kenneth's apartment is super well located next to the Marine Drive SkyTrain and shops and beautiful parks (especially in Spring!). Mila is a lovely pup with a few anxious tendencies. She loves spending time with you but is also very happy to spend her day snoozing in her beds. Mila can be a bit temperamental with her walks but you can see Alex and Kenneth's training starting to help. Mila likes to put the brakes on when she isn't keen on the walk and is quite reactive to other dogs, squirrels and birds but with some gentle encouragement, a quick ride in your arms or a jog she generally can keep going. She was a lovely doggo to spend a few weeks with, she isn't demanding and, apart from walkies, is chill and always down for a quick cuddle.
San Anselmo is a special space, a quiet town tucked in amidst trees and shops and an easeful lifestyle. Sherry was very helpful with information on the best ways to keep everyone happy, and it was fun getting to know each furry friend's personality and preferences :-) Located just a block from the main street in town, you can't get better situated! Going out to eat really was going to the neighborhood restaurant - it always felt comfortable and welcoming, and the food was delicious! And there are antiques shops to peruse, and lots of places to just hang out and observe the world going by. And Lucky knows every place he wants to go! This place has so much variety - a Greek church for St. Nicholas (when I passed by, the Christmas tree was still up and boughs decorated!), and even attended a class on Gregorian Chants at the town's namesake church! Just wish I had more time to explore the other small towns around! A very enjoyable saunter of a sit - highly recommend!
