This was the second time that Jennifer and Cendy were able to look after my home and pup. I have never seen my dog so happy in videos than the snippets Jennifer would send me while I was away...and I have never returned to my apartment looking so organized and clean! They are truly a dream team and I could not be more thankful that they’re in our lives.
We had arranged a 6 week sit but unfortunately COVID struck and we had to abort our stay after a week. However, what a wonderful time we had. Beautiful house, lovely house cat who was so easy to care for. Easy contact with Graeme. We hope to return as there is so much to see. We highly recommend this sit.
We had such a lovely time at Tricketts Farm! We would 100% recommend staying here. Jasper and Amber are gorgeous and easy to look after. It was brilliant having ducks and chickens too. Duck scrambled egg every morning, what's not to love about that! The location is ideal, within 30 minutes of amazing days out on the South West coast path & then a wonderful local pub literally on the door step when you've returned home. We'd go back in a heart beat.
We had so much fun hanging out with "Senorita Red!" What a sweet, playful, and affectionate pup who is easy to walk, and absolutely loves to play ball. It snowed during our stay so we had a blast playing fetch in the backyard. She is food motivated (even with her kibble), and loves to hang out while you work or relax with a movie, and you get extra points for belly rubs! We arrived the night before the sit and enjoyed a fun dinner with Tammy, Terry, and their son Cole, who gave us an overview of their home, and Red's routine. A lovely family who made us feel welcome in their home. Tammy was great to communicate with before, during, and after the sit. All round, a good sit! Thank you Tammy, Terry, and Cole - please give Red a hug for us:)
It was a pleasure to sit for Lena and Michael and care for their gorgeous beautiful dog Baylor. Baylor is a rescue dog, handsome gentle obedient likeable intelligent and confident. He is sometimes a sensitive dog and occasionally and unexpectedly scared or fearful of sudden movements and shy when he first meets you but settles after only a day or so. He was affectionate and liked resting on us when we were on the sofa and in the car placing his paw on our lap. He was very easy to look after and we enjoyed several local beach trail and reservoir walks as well as taking him to socialize with other dogs at the local soccer / community park. He walks very well to heel off the lead and is also very happy in the car, jumping in when we opened the doors ! His favourite activities with us were running along the beach and chasing sticks including in the water which he loved ! We become very fond of him and he was very comfortable and happy with us. We would definitely love to look after him again he is a very special dog. The house is comfortable spacious and well equipped and easy to care for with a sunny sizeable outside area where Baylor can play and you can sit in the sunshine surrounded by eucalyptus trees, the sound of birds and an attractive view of the San Francisco Bay hills. The area of Walnut Creek is delightful and with easy access to the centre of San Francisco, and Napa Valley wineries. The road that Lena and Michael live on is leafy smart very safe and full of lovely neighbors, some of whom we got to talk to and even share dog walks and socialize with ! It is possible to walk to the local dog park from the house. Michael and Lena were very easy to deal with, kind and thoughtful, taking us out for lunch showing us places to walk Baylor and driving us round the area to familiarise us with supermarkets etc. prior to their departure. We enjoyed sharing photos and short videos of Baylor with them whilst they were away and feel that they appreciated it. They are a charming couple friendly, great company caring and considerate. We would strongly recommend this sit to you and hope you enjoy the experience as much as we did.
Jenni was such a wonderful host and her home was lovely! Whisky was shy at first but once he came out of his shell, he was such a loving and playful boy. Would definitely recommend this house sit :)
