Lucinda was my first sitter and she was wonderful. Before the time, she was prompt in emailing and responding to mine. She was kind to start a day earlier while I was still here in order to get to know her and for her to get to know me, my animals and my home. That meant a lot to me. She was great with my dear animals. And the house was super clean when I returned. I recommend her highly.

Hamsa was our first house/ pet sitter that we've had. She couldn't have been better!! We were so thrilled with her communication and care for our furry family members. We've never been away for that long and knowing she was there put us completely at ease. 5 stars, I highly recommend her.

What a fantastic place to house sit. Oscar was a dream to look after, no bother at all. Stephen and Ben's house is very quaint and surrounded by a beautiful garden. A big plus is that one can walk into York. Not a lot more to say, except that I would highly recommend it.

Thank you Stephen and Ben for choosing me for your sit.
Richard.

Jun was amazing! She was incredibly clear wth her expectations which were very reasonable. She was communicative online and we kept in touch with regular updates.

Coco was the sweetest kitty, very friendly and playful. She warmed to me quite quickly, enjoyed her pets and her games. And she is so soft!

I thought the location is great, near the airport as well as the castle ruins and a nice park. Most of the sites are on the same metro line so convenient.

I would recommend this sit to anyone.

Excellent housesit. The cats - Vikram and Coco are a delight, brother and sister but very different. The apartment is great and the location is excellent, Clifton Bridge at the end of the road. Communication with Phillippa before and during the sit was easy and I was made to feel very welcome.

Beth
I had been looking forward to seeing Deena again for literally almost a year. I met her when sitting for Beth's friend Dianne and her handsome pup Victor last May.

Besides being walkable and stunningly beautiful, the Trilogy community in Redmond is incredibly welcoming and supportive. That was epitomized by Beth and John last year. Because I didn't know anyone, they invited me for a social visit which was amazingly sweet. They were so warm and welcoming and newly rescued Deena was fun and energetic. When they invited me to sit with Deena this year, I quickly and wholeheartedly accepted.

While oh-so-pretty Deena totally charmed me on our first meeting last year, in the 3 weeks we spent together this year, she totally wormed her way into my heart.

She is smart and super fun. Even if they are more smell and sniff strolls, Deena loves her walks. Most of her energy burns and mental stimulation activities though are in the yard and the house. She never turns down a game of chase which invariably turns into zoomies and she's easily engaged by a thrown ball. If she hasn't had enough play time or mental stimulation, she's not hesitant to initiate a game.

John and Beth's home is beautiful. It is well laid out, incredibly comfortable and easy to keep tidy. I'm envious of the artwork and travel treasures throughout the home and the easy and eclectic way they're displayed. The real stunner though is their outside space. A big deck off the kitchen and dining room leads to a heated covered patio with a fire table and comfy furniture. The garden is unbelievable day and night and it features a waterfall feature that is so soothing to listen to as you're falling asleep.

As mentioned, the Trilogy community is by nature welcoming and supportive. The neighbours all knew I'd be there and went out of their way to say hello. We got to say stop and chat with Bev and her cutey terrier Simon, most days. Beth's friend, Lynn checked in on me regularly to make sure I didn't need a ride or some groceries. Lynn & Patti, (another neighbour) arranged a lovely happy hour and showed up with snacks and beverages. We had a fun visit and I have some new friends.

Fun fact, while visiting Trilogy, encouraged by Beth, I was able to visit Dianne and her beautiful poodle Victor. It's so rare I have a chance to return and catch up with previous pets. It was a special treat.

Speaking of new friends, John and Beth are really are amazingly lovely people. They were so welcoming, accommodating and communicative. I couldn't ask for better hosts. My enjoyment of my visit was important to them.

What made me happiest is how much they love their little Deena and how her welfare is their first consideration.

I can recommend this sit for so many awesome reasons, the pup, the home, the garden, the location, the community and the fantastic hosts.

Lori
This was our first housesitting gig through Trusted Housesitters and it far exceeded our expectations. When we arrived at Lori & Chris's after a day of snowstorm driving, we were immediately welcomed with a hug and a warm, delicious dinner! We instantly bonded with Iris and Turtle and looked forward to cuddling and talking with them at the end of every day after fun in the snow. Jackson had so much to do that the 2 weeks flew by and before we knew it we had to say goodbye to our new kitty friends. Lori was extremely organized - she had everything ready for us and all we had to do was feed and pet the kitties, as well as clean the litter box - nothing out of the ordinary and everything was there that we needed to do a good job. We felt immediately at home in the house and it was a great location (near supermarket and trails, although we didn't do much walking from the house due to all the snow) - we also appreciated the well-appointed gear room for drying out boots and wet snow clothes! We hope to be back sooner rather than later and highly recommend this sit to anyone who enjoys relaxing with cats after a day of outdoor adventures.

Celene
We had a great stay with Neville and Copper while Celene and Jameson were away. Both dogs are well behaved have well established routines and were pretty easy to care for. Copper is a very sweet senior dog but he does have some incontinence. You'll need to keep a close eye on him and take him outdoors frequently or he will pee in the house. Neville is sweet as can be. He loves to hold hands with you while you're sitting on the sofa.
