Anja and Gaston are thoughtful and gracious hosts. We enjoyed visiting and connecting with them over a couple of meals at the beginning and end of our sit in Ahrweiler. We also enjoyed connecting with Yvan and Carlos. Yvan is the adult “chill” cat and Carlos is the young, energetic, and affectionate kitty. Both of them are easy care and a lot of fun. We spent about a month in Ahrweiler and were never short of things to do. The area hiking is wonderful. We also enjoyed the local wineries and restaurants and took day trips to Bonn, Cologne, and a number of German castles. I highly recommend this sit.
We had a great time at Robin's place with Mimi and Rodolfo. They are magnificent ragdolls who are both playful and cuddly :) Robin is a great host who cooked a great dinner when we arrived. She works with wine and she told us a lot about it. The location is pretty cool for late summer with a plenty of things to do if you like nature - especially an easy access to Valle Verzasca. We hope to return someday.
This was a great sit. I was made to very welcome in Hannah and Kyle's home, which is in an amazing location with a great panoramic view. They were very easy to communicate with and I was left with a detailed book of instructions. The house itself was beautifully decorated (one highlight being the exposed wiring for the lighting), a wonderful mix of the old and the new. Maya was particularly affectionate from the outset, and would often come to me as I was watching TV, or I would find her curled up on my bed. Inca was friendly, but took more time getting to know She tended to be around just during meal times but was becoming a little more present towards the end. I would heartily recommend this sit and hope I will be able to do another sometime.
Duke, Dezi, and Mango are absolute treasures. I had such a beautiful experience with Jen and in her lovely home. From the pool to the mountains, to the pups, it is a very special place!
Wanted to thank you for allowing us to stay in your home and take care of your animals. It was a real pleasure to hug and walk Louis - - what a sweetheart! Your home was a great base from which to explore the whole area.
This was my first ever experience with a Lurcher and it was awesome. Asa is such a chilled and affection dog. Nick left clear instructions and was easy to communicate with. The home is compact, clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed and good cooking facilities. There is also a confortable work/study station. Asa and I spent a lot of time out and about. There are great walks and the city is an quick bus ride away.. Groceries stores are within walking distance with Nick also providing use of his bicycle which was convenient. Nick's flat mate Great was present for some of the time and she is very amicable and helpful.

Being part of the family is so much better than kennels any day - and there is plenty of room for the dogs to run around in and enjoy! We can only give Kathy the highest possible recommendation.
I have always sent my dogs to Kathy. My twelve year old beagle loves going there and I know that she will be looked after like one of the family. Highly, highly recomend Hooves paws and more.

I cannot recommend this service enough! The staff are always so helpful and have been so patient with Brucie and his separation anxiety. Brucie loves going on his walks, I love the reports we get after the walk to see how he has got on.... although today there was traffic issues when I receive these pictures I can truly see how much the staff love the doggies and really enjoy their jobs! Just finished Heathers pet services puppy classes as Rosemary Lodge. We really enjoyed the sessions and my pup and I will both benefit from what we have learnt. Sophie N was fantastic. She is really engaging, knowledgeable and always ready to answer any questions separate from the lesson content. I wasn’t looking forward to being out on a cold Wednesday evening but am now sad it’s finished. Would def recommend. Will be looking to book some of Heather’s other pet services.
We did not have the best experience with Heather’s Pet Services. We genuinely appreciated how understanding and hard working the staff were, however the customer service really let us and our two cats down. I understand this is a predominantly dog-centred service, but we were assured they could look after Persian cats and their additional specific needs. We were extremely anxious about leaving our cats alone, to the point that it’s prevented us from taking trips since before the pandemic. It took a few visits for them to get used to these and I took particular care to update our information in their online portal. After each visit we could tell the staff really took on our feedback, which was amazing. However, on arriving home after the last two visits, we found one or both cats had become unwell and left unpleasant smells and messes to attend to, definitely not a nice environment to come home to after being away. After letting customer service know about this, the response was very unsympathetic and unprofessional. We were blamed for their errors and told we were at fault for making a staff member ill with the feedback we gave previously. I have never come across a business take so little responsibility for the quality of their services (at frankly extortionate prices) or the wellbeing of their staff, and I was particularly shocked by the lack of interest in the wellbeing of our cats after the final visit. Unfortunately, we would not feel safe leaving our cats under their supervision again.
About 5 years ago our cockapoo Barney began to get very agitated whilst being groomed. This got steadily worse to the point that the groomer said they would not be able to groom him without him being sedated…. We did this reluctantly, as we hated the effect the drugs had on him. I was chatting it through with the vet as this had been going on for a couple of years and I felt that it could not be good to do this as Barney was nearing 9. A number of people mentioned that Heather’s pets had a lady who was a trained dog behaviourist and wonderfully patient grooming team. I felt it was worth a go although did wonder if the saying ‘ you cannot teach an old dog new tricks’ would be validated! Sophie a trained dog behaviourist and Chloe the chief groomer have worked wonders- between them they have taken time with Barney to ensure he is comfortable with them and in their grooming room. They have cared for him and eased him in gradually to being able to be first washed and cleaned with them and now groomed without any sedation at all! It is such a relief and I am so grateful- they always reassured me too that I was not being a paranoid dog owner and that it would be worth taking this time- and it certainly has been. We are all so thankful they are fantastic!
My dog has been having regular weekly walks with the staff at heathers pet care services. Mabel loves being collected and going out with a group of dogs. The staff are dedicated animal lovers and take great care of your pets. Mabel has a brilliant bond with whichever walker she has and get super excited when she sees them walk up our path. Heather’s Pet Care Services is fantastic! I attended the puppy training classes & found them to be really informative, interactive & supportive. Sophie led the classes & found her to be really professional, helpful & so knowledgeable! I also take my dog along to their pet groomer Chloe, who has been amazing with her & always do a fantastic groom. My dog was not keen with being groomed, however in Chloe’s care, we haven’t looked back! I thoroughly recommend you use Heather’s Pet care Services for all your pet needs!
We have only positive things to say about both Sophie and Heathers Pet Care Services. We arranged some 121 sessions with Sophie for our little Cockapoo recently - and Sophie was so friendly, knowledgeable and Sophie made every session exciting. Our Cockapoo was so entertained, and we've taken all the training notes, games and general advice moving forwards and we can't wait to use the services again. Thanks again :)
We have used Heathers for a number of years now for group walking, grooming, puppy training and 121 dog training. They are all excellent and the online booking system is very helpful. Would highly recommend to any dog owners in Bath area.
We regularly use Whistley for our crazy springer spaniel and he always loves it. They keep him entertained with tennis balls and a paddling pool and he’s always happy to return
I bring my dog here regularly for longer trips away, and he always looks happy and healthy when collecting him. They have spacious, heated kennels. Lots of walks daily. The owners are lovely. Very friendly, welcoming, and reassuring. Would definitely recommend it!
Any dog with a slight breed reputation will be judged before they’ve even met your dog. I was told there was availability then 10 seconds later once the lady had found about the breed she changed her mind and provided some lame excuse. Disappointed as someone who lives locally I now have to look elsewhere, for someone who has spent so much time and money as well dedicated to ensuring my dogs are well trained and obedient to still have prejudice against them. For a place that supposedly loves dogs well, if you’ve got a cockpoo you’re in luck anything bigger don’t bother.

Lucie and her family 4 legged and 2 legged are lovely. Our 6 month old pup had a wonderful first day at doggy daycare. I loved the email notifications of the walks along with tons of pictures of what they were getting up to. He didn't want to leave. Once home he slept like a log and we had our first dream experience with him making noises and his little legs going. It's such a relief knowing he is happy whilst I am at work. I've been using we love pets for a number of years now and they've been fantastic. I've 3 cats and I always feel they're in safe hands and will get little updates when I'm away and always come home to 3 happy cats. The team are amazing.
I don't think I've ever left a negative review before but.. It was good the first time for our spaniel. But the second time was awful. Had done skinny legs, ears length was different, they had cut all her eyebrow lashes and whiskers off which are now growing awkwardly now curling in her eye (they don't effect her health though right?) Definitely wasn't a show cocker cut like I had asked. I shouldn't have paid even though I said at the time that was a lot shorter than I had agreed but I just couldn't get over it. So I then contacted them to say I wasn't happy. Basically was told it was my fault? For over £50 I'd expect them to groom her, not just basically shave everything off which is NOT what you do with a show type. Didn't receive a refund as I was fed up with arguing. Was so expensive for what was done. No offence but I could have done that. Do not recommend.
I highly recommend this dog groomers. My dogs come home looking and smelling amazing. The ladies are very pleasant and interested in the dogs background. The pricing of treatments is very reasonable especially with the cost of living going up. Highly recommend supporting this lovely business.
Milo is a big dog, no doubt about it. Anna at we love pets hasn't been fazed by this and has been absolutely fantastic with him for his walks. Occasionally we have been home to see how excited he gets when she arrives to take him out. We're even more happy to see how tired out he is when he gets home. Not to mention the price for a one to one walk is really good. Very good value for money! So far our experience with We Love Pets has been fantastic. I'm sure they will continue to impress.

Fiona has been taking care of my dog Mable for over 2 years now….I have gone on holiday over a month before and our dog has had a blast EVERYTIME with her running around the property, its like our dog is on holiday as well…Fiona constantly takes her on walks and even send us videos and pictures when we are missing our Mable…Highly recommend for anyone looking for a daycare.
