My Hamster Gus Gus was regularly handled and such well cared for will definitely use Charlotte again whenever we go away! We were consistently updated with pictures, so happy with her services!

Charlotte is amazing at looking after our little piggies, we've never had to worry about them whilst they've been in her care. We've used Charlotte's services a few times now and can't fault her. We love getting regular updates and pictures of our piggies and will continue to use Pippin Pet Boarding for the foreseeable future.

Our rabbit, Puddles, has stayed with Charlotte three times. She is always very well cared for and we receive regular updates. We are always very happy with Pippin holidays. Charlotte clearly loves animals.

My bunnies Nibbles and Isabelle have stayed at Pippin many times, most recently in the new luxury lodge which is a whole summer house and garden for them to roam freely. But it is the care and love that they receive from Charlotte who apart from being highly experienced in small pet care obviously adores animals which makes it more than just a business. I wouldn’t send my beloved rabbits anywhere else. Prices are more than fair for the level of service and you will get regular lovely photos and updates. Highly recommended in every way.

I would highly recommend Pippin Pet Boarding. Charlotte has been looking after our hamsters for the past few years now and we have always received an excellent service. Charlotte is really friendly and from the first visit we knew our hamster would be in safe hands. Charlotte always sends us photo updates throughout their stay so we can see how they are getting on which is great!

My two little Russian Dwarf hamsters, Pudding and Crumpet, have just spent 10 days with Charlotte at Pippin Pet Boarding and they had an absolutely amazing time ! They were looked after with the utmost care and attention . I received regular updates and some really cute pictures of my two girls which was sooo nice and comforting as I missed them a lot ! Charlotte was very friendly and professional , and was sooo considerate and flexible when arranging drop off and pick up times ! Charlotte looked after my canary "Biscuit" for two weeks and he was very happy and healthy when I returned to collect him. I was given regular updates about him throughout my holiday, including lovely photos of him free-flying around safely. Reasonably priced and reliable! Will definitely use again!!!

Pipping Barding is just first class accommodation for small animals 🥇Charlotte is very dedicated and cares for her charges with 100% dedication my two girlie guineas Wendy & Daphne have been twice for two pretty long stays I have no hesitation at leaving them .The updates while you are away are fabulous we all know small animals can suddenly go downhill it’s something we always discuss but thankfully it’s never happened .Makes going away on holiday so much easier !

I am extremely pleased with the service that Nigel and Emma offer. We have a lively young terrier and a nervous senior cat. At the preliminary visit, we were very impressed by N and E's professionalism and understanding of the needs of both pets. We have used their service many times since and have found them to be both flexible and reliable. I am very confident leaving both pets in their care. and caring am confident leaving both in their care.

Nigel and Emma are very reliable and ensure my dog Xena has a great walk. Xena is always very excited to see them which only reaffirms that she has a great bond with them. They are also very trustworthy and lovely people to deal with. They will always try and accommodate for last minute requests too which really helps us out. I would definitely recommend their services to others.

Nigel and Emma have been walking our dogs for many years since they took over Petpals York. They have also looked after our cats when we’ve been away. They have always been professional and utterly trustworthy. They have been flexible to accommodate ‘doggie quirks’ and adjusted their routine for exercise when any of the dogs has been unwell or injured. They are highly recommended.

Nigel and Emma have always been wonderful with our Cat, Remus. We use Petpals to look after our cat when we are away from home. They are great with him, reliable, flexible, great value and trustworthy. They also send us pictures of how Remus is getting on via Whatsapp which we love! Far less stressful for the cat than a cattery, and great value.

Although I’ve not needed to use their services during the pandemic, it has been lovely seeing the happy posts from Petpals as they’ve continued to provide support for some very content looking cats and dogs. Having used Petpals many times in the past for my cats, I will certainly be calling them again as soon as I can travel again. I’m a bit disorganised, but Nigel and Emma have always responded straight away and helped me out with my last minute bookings. Thanks to you both, and stay safe.

Petpals York have been walking our 8 year old Boxer since he was a young lad! They are very compassionate and professional and our family highly recommend them. Our doggie was poorly a couple of years ago and Nigel and Emma were very supportive and adjusted to our needs at that time. We can't thank them enough for loving our dog as much as we do.

We have used Nigel and Emma for the last three years, whenever we have gone away for more than a night or two, to look after our cat. They are professional, attentive, caring, and always keep us updated throughout. We have never had any issues, and will continue to use them as long as we need a cat-sitter. Petpals is fantastic! Our cats got very stressed when we used to take them to a cattery. Now it's "business as usual" for the cats and we can go away knowing they are being very well looked after. It's extremely easy too - all we do is send and email and pay! We can't recommend Petpals enough.

We’ve used Emma’s services (cat sitting) a couple of times now. Emma is professional, kind, caring and understanding. The price range is amazing too. Although our cat isn’t the most sociable cat, Emma took/takes the time to get to know her and understand her needs. Both my partner and I would recommend Emma in a heartbeat. It takes a lot for us to trust someone to come into our home and look after our pet. However, we never ever had any worries with Emma. Emma kept us updated throughout and her caring nature really showed

Emma has been walking our dog since we got him 3 years ago. She’s reliable, friendly and clearly loves her job. I know that when I’m at work, our dog is getting the exercise and attention that we’d give him ourselves. Brilliant service!

I would highly recommend Booker Pet Care for dog boarding. Our dog Buster loves his holidays there, he gets lots of space to run and play, has fun with the other dogs and I know he is being well looked after. Lynn provides an excellent service and it is clear she has a genuine passion for offering dogs the best care.

Just taken my cocker spaniel to the meadow walk he was in spaniel heaven what a fabulous place for a puppy to go off lead I can 100%verify the fencing is escape proof he checked every inch the wood is a fantastic bonus

We tried the new Meadow, what a treat! Our dogs had a great time racing through the long grass and enjoying the woodland. Loads of room for running plenty of benches in the sunshine. The summer house for sitting and or sheltering is enclosed and cosy with a greatview of the meadow. The doggy play equipment is definitely big dog inspired but beautifully laid out and maintained. A dog poo bin at the gate would be very useful a few dog bags around in case you run out and definitely more water for the dogs please.

Our cat Shady stayed here for a week and he was very well looked after, regular photo updates were sent too which was a lovely touch. Will definitely be using Foxhills again 😃 …

We went to the adult dog social party and it was fantastic. The kennels is well organized and they really love dogs! It's nice to go play but also a place a would let my dog stay if we needed it.

Lulu absolutely LOVES doggy day care at fox hills. She is so excited to go every time , I’m so glad we found such a fantastic place. The staff truly care about each of the dogs and spend the time with them playing and walking , not just kept inside their beds or rushed around. The staff are kind , very caring , and really know about dogs and how to mix and keep them safe. We never have to worry about hr enjoying daycare because she is so well looked after , played with and interacted with. Fox hills is the best day care I’ve ever come across and we will be with you always ! Thank you! It gives lulu such a great quality of life Always look forward to the photos you send it makes our day, Thank you for being such an amazing group of people 🥰

Our two dogs love coming here, they are well looked after and the pictures we get everyday is a fantastic idea. Now a grooming facility is on site they get a good wash before coming home! Its the only place we trust with our dogs in the local area.

An amazing kennels my collie was very happy whe she went there as a day boarder. And they send you loads of photos which is nice highly recommended

The best! They are so good and so accommodating, my dog needs her food freezing and also medication every day and they just do it!!! I never worry when she is there and when I drop her she doesn’t even look back!!!!!! One thing I love is the pictures I get sent too! Always so nice to see! I also had her washed and groomed at vixens groom room by Maddie and she looked so good!!! All fluffy!!! Would highly recommend that too! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just picked our two dogs up this morning and they have loved it at foxhills!! Left them for the week, got daily updates from staff who have followed our guide for them to the letter, our big one can be a bit of a "princess" at times but they all dealt with her fantastically well. Very reasonable price too for the service provided! Would definitely use again and recommend to anyone.

We adopted a little blind cat called Ron. What a brilliant place, the two lady's I met were super friendly and stayed late to make sure we were comfortable with the adoption. We couldn't be any happier with Ron and had it not been for the hard work of everyone there we might not have seen him ( no pun intended) thank you so much and I promise to flood your inbox with photos as he grows!

The staff are incredibly helpful and have gone the extra mile to be supportive even over the 'lockdown'. They clearly really care for each and every one of the cats; and their visitors. We've got two little kittens from here and they're fun, fit and healthy. The trial pre-adoption stay was great, when we took the first back for his final vaccinations we ended up taking home the second.

We regularly leave our cat, Teddy, here in this home from home cattery. He settles in well and is looked after with cuddles and attention by the caring staff. Teddy is returning in March for another holiday! We highly recommend Aristocats to any cat.

Our precious 8 months old kitten, Muffin had an almost 3 weeks long stay at Aristocats due to our extended holiday. From our very first initial phone call to enquire about their availability until our check out, everything went incredibly smoothly. Even when I called in to see how she’s doing during our trip, the ladies at the other end of the phone assured me that she’s in the best care. When I told them my kittens name, they all knew who I meant, and their voice got all cheered and soft which reassured me that they really taking a good care of my baby while I was away. She seemed very happy when we picked her up and being an indoor cat, I’m sure she made the most of her outdoor run as she came through the cat flap to greet us on collection and since hunting right down all the random flies & spiders that come in to our apartment 😊 I would highly recommend this boarding cattery to anyone, who wants to leave their feline friend(s) in good hands while away and not to worry about their well-being constantly.

Cat booked in over the telephone. Cattery forgot to write the booking down in their ledger. Luckily our neighbour could step in and help at the 11th hour so our holiday plans weren't scuppered. Won't use again. Edit. re. the owner response - they tried to accommodate us by sending us away with our cat to then check her in 2.5 hours later (extra journey for me and cat). For the final day of the cat's stay, they offered us a dog carrier into which my cat, basket and litter tray would be crammed (with no discount offered). They never apologised for their mistake and they even inferred that we hadn't booked in the first place, even though we had conversations regarding jabs etc. in the build up to her stay. Poor attitude and very disorganised.

Avoidable. We had to come back 2 days earlier and even though the woman assured us that there will always be 24h someone in. I tried to ring them 20 times, no answer. They will only reply to facebook and after a lot of messages back and forward (8 hours in advance!) we couldn't pick the cat up on that day! The website and google states that they are open until 6.15pm. We were arriving at 6 and she kept giving excuses. Even though it is literally a 5 minutes process. Dodgy huh?

Our 2 cats had their first weeks stay including a full groom. Very well looked after and looking much smarter than when they went in. We will definitely use again.

Friendly tailored service, the kitties are kept warm fed and as happy as possible! (some cats just love to sulk)

This is the 4th time I will be using aristocrats, wouldn't leave her anywhere else now, she is always looked after and always settles in with no problems, she is 18 now so an old lady, I hate to leave her but know she is in very safe hands, and can rely on them to give her her medication. Thank you Aristocats.

Amie is amazing!! We have used her for a few months now after having a bad experience with a previous dog walker. She put our mind at ease straight away as she was a natural with our 2 Dachshunds. She's very punctual, always leaves the dogs as clean as she finds them, changes the walks so they get to experience new surroundings and great at communicating with us daily whenever we want to amend or add days to walk them. Thanks so much for loving them as much as we do and taking care of them whilst we are working.

Absolutely fantastic dog walking service - I cannot recommend it enough! When we first got our dachshund puppy three years ago, we were nervous about trusting a dog walker. We contacted Amie because we liked the professional marketing and quirky name, and since then her service has well exceeded our expectations. She had a key from the start, and began doing puppy pop-ins for us, before progressing to daily walks as our dog got older. She formed a brilliant bond with him from the minute they met, and he absolutely loves her! Amie has been fundamental in helping our dog grow into the confident sausage he is! She has assisted us with his training and given us lots of helpful tips during the tricky puppy months (and beyond!). She is 100% committed, very reliable and she really cares about the dogs she looks after; she always goes the extra mile to meet their individual needs. She is easy to get hold of and always responds quickly. The pictures she posts on social media are also great for letting you see how your dog is getting on and enjoying themselves. We have recommended Bloomingtails to several of our friends who now also use the service, and they all agree that Amie does an amazing job. Thank you for your excellent care and service Amie!

Amie is fantastic! Always professional & totally reliable, she is a great communicator. Nothing is too much trouble & she goes the extra mile to ensure your dog's needs are met, placing them on the best walks for both their size and temperament. I chose Amie because of her experience with dachshunds & consequently my dog has grown in confidence since becoming one of the Bloomingtails 'gang'. He has tremendous fun on his walks & adores Amie! Her amazing bond with all the dogs in her care is obvious. Amie provides an excellent service and I can highly recommend her.

I cannot recommend Amie highly enough; she is professional, reliable and a real dog lover. She gets to know each individual dog's personality and adapts to this. On a day-to-day basis, she provides varied walks and considers which dogs to take on which walk, so they can meet their mates regularly. Our large ridgeback/lab cross (Tilly) always comes home tired but happy. Amie responds quickly to messages, gives plenty of advanced warning of her holidays and tries her best to accommodate any requests, such as an extra day or a change of day. Tilly adores Amie, although this hasn’t always been the case. Tilly has a guarding instinct and has trust issues. Amie overcame by popping in to see Tilly every day for a month until Tilly accepted her as a part of “her gang” and I will always be grateful for her efforts. Amie will often post pictures or videos on Instagram so you can see the dogs having fun. She is truly trustworthy, and I have no hesitation in recommending her.

Bloomingtails Amie has walked our boy since he was a puppy. He absolutely adores her and I trust her completely with him! I cannot recommend Bloomingtails enough! Amie has really gone out of her way to help us out and I really don't know what we would do without her! There have been quite a few occasions when I have bumped into Amie whilst walking my dog myself and I am always re-assured by how well she takes care of the dogs and how she always keeps them under control. A definite 5 stars!!

Bloomingtails have exceeded all expectations of what you expect from a dog walking service. Amie is absolutely brilliant with my labrador, and he adores her. Amie is always reliable and professional. Pre-lockdown, I trusted her with my keys so she could collect and drop off Buddy whilst I was at work. She's always willing to help if I need an extra day (subject to space/availability of course). She'll also post pics on social.media so you can see your dog having lots of fun! Would highly recommend 👌

The lady who drives this van speeds in 20 mile zones. Be aware of this if your putting your treasured animals in her care. Very worrying. I had to put a star in order to post this.

Fantastic dog walking and day car service in York. Andy is very professional, and also just a generally great guy. We feel completely at ease handing over our 1 year old retriever to Andy to look after. Would highly recommend!

Great service really helpful

Our two dogs love it at Snowlandia! So much so Winnie often even seems sad to leave. We use them pretty frequently and have never had any issues. Won’t take ours anywhere else now. The staff are super friendly, helpful and polite. And you can tell they really love the dogs. Always stress free dropping them off which gives you great peace of mind when away. Thank you so much for looking after Reggie and Winnie!

We pop our dog Zak here each year while we go to York for a weekend. The staff are really friendly and caring! The value for money is also so good. Thank you for looking after Zak for us!

Our Frenchie LOVES it here, we've been bringing him since he was small and he's always happy to trot away with the staff when we leave him. They also give him a bath if we ask in advance and he comes home smelling like coconut, which is just adorable 🥰 …

Took my dog for a wash and brush, He didn’t mind them and he came out looking stunning. The service was very efficient, all the staff we met was friendly and really took to Bertie. I felt safe knowing he was going to be looked after well. I am pleased with the amount we paid and for what he had done. You can see from his coat how much if his moulting undercoat they removed.

Our dog and our late dog are always happy to go and don't even look back at us when we leave. Always look well looked after on pick up and staff are lovely.

Dropped my spaniel off for day boarding - it was her first time and can be a nervous dog. The staff were outstanding (especially a lady called Tracy) and really put our minds at ease. When we collected the dog she was happy and full of beans. Really pleased with our experience and will book again.

Very friendly dog kennels and grooming service, in peaceful surroundings between Naburn and Stillingfleet. They have looked after our cocker spaniel several times over a couple of years, and he's always happy there!

Such a wonderful place! Hounds with Hannah so knowledgeable calm and patient. First puppy groom today and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. Wonderful setting every member of staff I met has been so friendly. Looked round the kennels today as we may need to use I the future all immaculately clean and all the dogs looked well and happy! Plenty of parking too

Used the boarding facilities. Pets came back traumatised. One of the dogs had an injury to his face and cowered as if he had been hit. Never again. Edit: It’s rather concerning that no staff noticed the injury nor reported it to us, as it must have caused considerable bleeding when it happened. Snowlandia has unfortunately gone downhill and I can’t recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful kennels and staff . My beloved terrier was very happy here and well looked after . The kennels and grounds are immaculate and the added bonus of a dog groomer ion site is great . She posted gorgeous photos of my dog and did a fabulous job , he looked so smart when I picked him up . I can highly recommend based on my experience there FIVE STARS *****
