Can't say enough nice things about the pets, hosts, and house of this waterfront sit. Tess and Kitty are quite loving and very easy to care for. Hosts Lori and Scott are gracious, welcoming, and extremely generous. When they heard that my adult kids were meeting me in St. Pete, before we all drove down to the Keys, Lori and Scott offered to let them stay with me at the house for the last couple sit days. And that was on top of the large fruit, nut, and wine basket they put together to welcome me! The house is a complete jewel, well furnishd and very tidy. I relished sitting on the dock every morning to spot dolphins, manatees, and even some sea otters. Paddleboards and kayaks were available for any times I wanted to try to get even closer to the sea life. The location is close to lots of great beaches and local beachfront action. Highly recommend!
Sharon was very accommodating upon arrival. Having everything laid out, showing me how everything works, sharing cool places to go, offering me her vittles, etc. Very welcoming! She has the friendliest cats I may have ever met. One of them was quite old and I was worried a little bit about her health or energy or general attitude, but she was very young in actuality. Hopping on the bed or couch to hang out, waiting at meal time. Just chilling. The dogs were great. Kept me company around the house, low maintenance, easy to walk. To top it off, Sharon has a nice backyard to chill in and the area is really nice. And it's not too far from Long Beach or LA so you can get to those locales pretty quickly. Great stay!
Great experience - Gigi the dog is absolutely adorable, she loves to cuddle and play fetch and was near me all the time :). The apartment is stunning, it has everything you can wish for for a few relaxing days in the alps :) Lisa is super nice - communication before and during the sit went super smooth and she was always quick to reply whenever I had questions. I can 100% recommend this sit to future sitters! :-)
Had a wonderful week with the kittens Willow and Whisper in Anna & Rob's house in Horsham. They were so curious and such fun to play with. The House is very well designed, lots of space and had a lovely bedroom en-suite. The family room downstairs is great as there's everything you need: well-equipped and fitted open plan kitchen / dining and sitting area with telly and sound bar, utility room for the kitten's needs and a playroom for children and/or kittens, glass doors which look out and open up straight into the garden. Anna left me a very nice welcoming sign with some delish local goodies which were all consumed during the sit. Communication was always very friendly and informative - the welcome guide was comprehensive and Anna sent me a video on how to use the induction hob and Rob sent me a video about how to work the telly. All very useful! The Location is also excellent: park over the road with playground, leisure centre, indoor and outdoor pool, some nice cafes and from there the old town centre is also within easy reach by foot. Went to the Saturday market and bought some very good local cheeses. There's all the familiar shops and some nice cafes, pubs and restaurants. Highly recommend and would gladly sit again.
This was an excellent housesit with Rufus! Kirstin was well organized, communicated well and was very accommodating when I had to make a slight change of plan for my ETA. Rufus is a sweet and very social dog who loves to cuddle, and her location is not only beautiful but is well located to all amenities. I look forward to future housesits for Kirstin and I would highly recommend her and Rufus to other housesitters!
My stay with Lucy was filled with great walks( very well behaved ) and keeping each other company . Lucy wasn’t demanding but always was nearby . The home was in a quiet area with friendly neighbours and kangaroos frequently close by.( not bothersome) The homeowners had me stay previous to the sit and was enjoyable and comfortable conversations The home is modern and comfy with excellent wifi Look forward to come back in future to enjoy Lucy’s company
