Cat Sitters in Essex County, MA

This was my third time with Diane as my petsitter. I felt very fortunate to have her taking care of B, my cat, and my home. She is truly amazing and I hope she will be able to return for future sits.

Gwynn was wonderful! She was super communicative, flexible to come to our house beforehand to get oriented, and attentive to details. She connected with our pup, Scout, immediately and we felt so assured that he would be well cared for with her. We hope Gwynn can come stay again another time!

We've had Dorothy sit for our two cats twice this summer (see previous review.) This second time, it was reassuring to know that we've left our house and family members (cats) in charge of someone who is caring, knowledgeable, respectful and responsible. When we returned, we could tell that Dorothy and her partner had taken good care with everything. The cats were well and playful. The house was as clean or more-so as we left it and she was careful to put things back where and as she found them. We work hard to make sure the house is left as clean for the housesitter as we would like to find in a similar situation. We appreciated not having to clean up when we got home as we have had to do with another housesitter.) There was no hesitation in accommodating our wish to be in-house for the first night (they joined us for dinner and we enjoyed their company), and also when their travel plans allowed. Dorothy was very responsive whenever we had a question or concern. We hope she will be able to sit for our cats and house again.

Inbal and Roy and the girls were great sitters and the doggies loved them too. I would definitely have them back.

Magda did a great job caring for my pets over a long weekend, and she really helped us last minute after we had a cancellation! We would happily have her again for another weekend.

Without a doubt, Melanie was the best pet sitter! Our dog Murphy loved her as soon as she walked in the door. Melanie has a calming energy and is so loving with animals. She was responsive, on time, very responsible. and left our place tidy and clean. I will be choosing Melanie again and I recommend you do too!

Amanda and Kaitlyn were wonderful sitters for our elderly cat, Chloe. They left the apartment clean and were responsive during planning and the sit itself.

Shannon was great. My dog loved her and she sent me pics every day. She left the house exactly as she found it. We'd welcome her back into our home anytime!

Dena and Noah were some of the most thoughtful, interesting, responsive and organized housesitters we’ve had. They were quick to get on a zoom call when I first reached out to them, asked helpful questions, shared information about themselves and scheduled a walk through a day before the sit began. They took great care of our pets, communicated regularly with updates and sweet pics and videos and left the house as clean as they found it. We had scheduled for them to do a second sit a few days after the first one ended which we unfortunately had to cancel due to my partner’s health. Dena and Noah were understanding of it and swung right into action to explore alternatives. I couldn’t recommend them more highly!

Melissa is wonderful! So easy to communicate with, and was very flexible about meeting us the day before we left to receive our keys and learn about Harvey's routine. Melissa brought up our mail and stashed it away so Harvey wouldn't bite it (one of his favourite things to do). We received updates about Harvey via WhatsApp and when I came back home he seemed so happy and calm. The apartment was very clean and tidy, and Melissa gifted us some handmade soaps, which smell amazing! I highly recommend Melissa as a sitter.

Our dogs were very happy and our home was well-taken care of. Great communication during initial conversation, but we were a little worried when we hadn’t heard from him a couple days before the sit dates. Maybe we should have reached out sooner or set clear expectations about arrangements/communication in the day(s) before starting. He did all that we asked, gave our dogs plenty of exercise and attention, and left our home clean. Very trustworthy and we would recommend him to others without hesitation.

The Fries family were wonderful. The dogs really took to them and this was obvious right from the beginning. This is very unusual for Beulah who is usually very shy. The dogs had a wonderful time and both of them became very attached to the whole family. Lots of walking and lots of cuddles. They are a lovely warm, friendly family, totally capable and responsible. We loved spending the time we had with them and they cooked us a lovely supper for us all on our return We could not have left our animals with kinder people.
