So happy with Chemda while we were away. We got almost daily updates with photos and videos, especially loved the ones with her singing to our cats. We came home to two happy boys and a clean house. We would love to have her sit for us again.
Laura is absolutely lovely, very friendly, organised and self sufficient. She looked after Bee (our dog) beautifully and the chickens were happy too on our return. I would highly recommend her for future sits, you would be lucky to have her.
I recently had the pleasure of pet-sitting for Canyon and River, and it was a delightful experience! Canyon, the Golden Retriever, is a well-behaved gentleman with a heart of gold and a yellow ball. His calm and friendly demeanor made our time together so enjoyable. River, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, was the perfect little sidekick, always full of energy and affection. We enjoyed walks together scouting out parks and nature trails. Marguerite's home is truly an oasis. The sunroom is a beautiful, serene space where we spent a lot of time relaxing and enjoying the sunshine. The whole atmosphere of the house is so welcoming and peaceful, making it a wonderful place to spend time with Canyon and River. Marguerite enjoys traveling, and you will see different items she has obtained from around the globe. I couldn’t have asked for a better pet-sitting experience. Thank you, Marguerite, for trusting me with your adorable fur babies. I look forward to the opportunity to care for them again! PS - Sorry for the picture frame. Be well, and safe travels.
Hellen was really communicative on the run up to the sit. She is a very trusting person and I appreciate that. The gang were so lovely and it was a lot of fun spending time with them. The cats were all very sweet and easy to look after. Douglas is a big boy and at times I didn't feel I had him under control when out walking. That is not to say he's badly behaved, I just maybe wasn't as firm as I should have been with him. He just melted my heart too much!! If you choose to sit for Hellen, be prepared for slobber and for your toes to get trampled on at times....Douglas is incredibly friendly and wants to be near you, sit on your lap etc. I loved every minute...he's the best!
We are very fortunate that our first THS sit was with Mark and Anne. Upon arriving, our lovely hosts expertly oriented us, and ensured we were comfortable in their warm and inviting home. It was a pleasure meeting and getting to know them before they departed on their trip. Mark and Anne kept in great contact with us during the entirety of our stay and made their instructions and requests straightforward and simple. Wonderful people! Bailey was simply a joy. Snuggles in the morning, long walks in the beautiful neighborhood, chuckit and frisbee in the back yard; Bailey was playful yet obedient. It goes without saying, we would happily take care of Bailey again, any time. It was a pleasure!
Lindsay and Drew were great hosts. Their home is very welcoming and perfectly located to so many things and awesome views. Our favorite was the bike path right behind their home which made it great for walking Indy. Indy is such a loveable dog. He loves to cuddle and play with his toys. On walks, he's Mr. Popular, we meet so many of his friends. Overall, a great dog friendly community with lots things to see and do. We would love to watch Indy again if the opportunity arose.
Hannah was a wonderful host! Great communication and even wrote me a detailed manual on everything I’d need including food spots and buses in the area. The house was so cosy and homely, I really enjoyed staying there. Gus and Frida are the sweetest cats I will miss them and their cuddles. Would definitely recommend this house sit ❤️
Lexy was a delight to look after and enjoyed her strolls around the park each day (as long as it wasn’t raining!) All she wanted after food was to sit either between us or on one lap or the other. Steve and Dianne’s house was warm and cosy and in easy reach of Oxford and the Gleaming Spires by using the local bus #8 at £2 per person. It is not advisable to park in Oxford. All in all a comfortable sit with a delightful, little dog.
