When dogs chew the plastic, it needs to be replaced, when they have an accident, it needs to be cleaned immediately, so they n employees don’t fall. Aggressive dogs can not be mixed in, you end up at hospital. If someone that knows what they are talking about offers suggestions, listen. Keep dogs moving, people want dogs having fun, playing, interacting, unless they can’t n are elderly. When they come home from work they are tired and their dog should be happy to see them but also feel like they had a busy day. Not , gee! Me, me, me, let’s walk n play for hours now, I had hours of boredom while you were at work! No non spayed or neutered, all shots. If any chance of illness…no do not endanger 50 for 1. The location has the ability to be wonderful. N children should not be brought in to middle to lay around n play with dogs. It is a business, dogs are wonderful animals but once you put 5 together anything can happen. It’s not a child day care a I repeat, kids do not belong on the floor with clients dogs. If a dog bites once you are putting him at risk for bitting again. Step on them, if you bang into them n they have cancer n you don’t know it, a nice dog will bite. You now created an issue for dog owner because you thought it would be fun to have your kids on the floor of a dog day care/ boarding business.

Very expensive for a fair job. I left it to the groomer’s discretion and although my girl was very pretty when I picked her up, they barely cut any hair. i will need to bring her for a haircut elsewhere and pay a nominal fee. Anyway $95 dollars for a wash and a trim for a 10 pound dog is absurd. I will not be returning. Chris and Zoe

Amazing place! The team consists of friendly, experienced dog lovers who greet every pup that walks through the door as if it's their own.

I have two rescue dogs who I have to board occasionally, they have high anxiety and we have had bad experiences at previous places but I feel so comfortable leaving my dogs at Fuzzy Butts. It is clear all of the staff I have met care so much for the dogs here and treat them as their own. My dogs who hate going places, love going here even to board! The staff are so accommodating and they communicate so well during their stay.

Our daniff goes to fuzzy butts for regular daycare and boarding. When we get out of the car he runs to the front door and is genuinely excited to see everyone and spend time with his other doggie friends. He had major separation anxiety and a very particular diet due to his size (he needs three meals plus a day) and fuzzy butts has been more than accommodating. The staff are extremely friendly and we love the daily picture updates!

I have been using Jim for dog walking and boarding since my 10 year old dog was a puppy. He is reliable, flexible, and trustworthy. Most importantly my dog is crazy about him.

I didn't think I'd be able to find anybody that I trusted as much as much as my close friend who had been walking my dog while he was in between jobs. Not only is Jim very dependable, but he's also willing to deal with my sometimes fluxuating schedule. I highly recommend him.

Asked Jim pretty last minute to see my cat when we went away for for a week. He came over the next day, got oriented, and then checked on her every day for a week. Rates seem fair, he played with her, did litter and food and brushing. Seemed to look for things to do for my cat. Will use again and do recommend.

Been taking our pups here since 2009 and we all love it! Our pups always come home exhausted from their play! The staff evaluate the dogs to ensure a good fit and friendly atmosphere. They are so sweet and treat our pups like family - so caring and loving. They also offer boarding and grooming services and we recommend those as well. The hours are great and pricing very reasonable. They've been super flexible when we've had a last minute ask for a weekend boarding. We're so lucky and appreciative to have found this gem years ago. I've been a customer here for 14 years, with 4 dogs over those years. My dogs have always loved this place, where they have lots of room to run around, lots of toys to play with, and people who truly love them and get to know each dog. They celebrate birthdays, Santa comes for Christmas pictures, and there is nothing better than Halloween at Bark Avenue! The staff is great, the place is spotless, and my dogs are nice and tired at the end of the day!

We are extremely satisfied with Bark Avenue. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I feel so at ease whenever i drop off my dog because i know that hes going to be in good hands. Sometimes they even post photos or videos on their facebook feed and every once in a while i get to see my pup running around. It makes my day knowing that hes happy and playing with other dogs. I also love that they split up the dogs by energy level, not just size, so i know my small dog is around other pups who wont be too aggressive with him. Im so happy i found this place. And i know my dog loves it too, because he gets so exciting when we ask him if hes ready to go to "school".

So great to be back at Bark Avenue! We moved and started taking our Basset Hound to another day camp. Not sayin’ nothin’ but the name of the franchise rhymes with “Messed Ends” Rather than go into all the problems with them, I’d like to list just a few of the ways in which Bark Avenue distinguishes themselves from the aforementioned chain. 1. Bark Avenue retains customers and staff 2. They recognized Ike (after a 3 year absence) and welcomed him back with great warmth and enthusiasm. 3. Their hours are much more convenient 4. When Ike is bathed or gets his nails trimmed (by Marydean) the work is noticeable. 4. Best of all the director and staff seem to genuinely enjoy the dogs! Bark Avenue is not fancy or pretentious, but we trust them implicitly to care for our “best friend.”

I have a 7 month old rottweiler and I don't know what I'd do without bark avenue to tire her out while I'm at work. Great staff and very fair rates!

My licensed therapy dog was bit terribly. Then, they try to make it sound like it was my dog's fault. My dog is very friendly and has NEVER had an incident. I'm now sitting at the animal hospital because my dog has severe wounds from the attack. Never again!

I have been overly impressed with the amount of professionalism and care Kim and Dave from Sleepy Paws have given to me and my golden doodle. This is the first time I’ve tried a home sitting service, but my dog has so much anxiety going to anyplace but his own home, I thought I’d give them a try. The communication they would send me every time they visited my dog to let me know he was doing well and being well cared for was top notch! They were so flexible and when I texted late at night to say my plane was delayed and I didn’t make my connection, Kim immediately responded telling me not to worry and they would take care of my dog until I got home. They always went above and beyond my expectations and my dog absolutely loved them! On top of all of this, I felt that their pricing was very good. I traveled a lot, so having a company and people that I could trust and take great care of my dog was very important to me. I would highly recommend Sleepy Paws. They are great people and a great company.

Sleepy Paws has taken care of our 2 kitties for the last two years whenever we go out of town. They always can fit us in their schedule, even for last minute trips, and in a couple situations when trips were extended/flights canceled, Sleepy Paws was able to come for the extra days needed. They always leave detailed notes about each visit, so we know one of our kitties loves to play with them while the other is more shy, but we also know both are in great hands while we are way. Great service, highly recommended!

Jenn at Shawe’s Paws was there from Charlie’s first walk and is still walking Charlie today! Jen is truly one of the best dog walkers out there. Our dog Oscar is obsessed with her - to the point where she tries to walk quietly by our house if she's going to walk our neighbor's dog so he doesn't hear her! On Oscar's first birthday, I was traveling for work and Jen took Oscar to the store to get him a birthday cake toy. It's the smaller, thoughtful things like this that make her irreplaceable in our pup's life. She also takes super cute pictures (attached) and sends an email about how each walk went. She makes leaving Oscar for work trips less hard because I know that he'll be so excited to see her when she comes for his walk!

Jen and the Shawe's team have been walking my family's dogs for 7 years or so. They have always gone above and beyond to accommodate shifting schedules, schedule or cancel on short notice, and even pick up the phone to talk about any pet concerns we might have (unrelated to them! just for advice!). My pup Ollie loves seeing his walkers and I could not do my job without the peace of mind that someone responsible will come take him out and play with him while I work. Bonus - they take the best pics of my little guy while they visit!

When we first moved to Philadelphia, our dog was very shy and timid around walkers that we would hire through various apps, but then Jen came and saved the day. She goes above and beyond to make Benji comfortable and now he gets excited when we just say her name. I’ve used Jen and her walkers for over 5 years now and I honestly would never use any other dog walking service in Philly. She is trustworthy, reliable, AND LOVES all of her dogs. And my dog absolutely loves her dog walkers, as I’ve been able to see a couple times when my dog will go running toward them, tail wagging if we happen to bump into them on the street. Jen uses an easy-to-use app to schedule walks/pay invoices and to see the daily walk reports which is super convenient. Also Jen makes herself available for every client and will always try her best to accommodate any late requests - I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve had to put in a last minute request for a same-day dog walk or for an overnight stay the week-of and Jen will always make it work. Aside from that, it’s great to get pictures of my dog on her walk while I’m at work - I truly never have to worry Sophie when I’m not at home because I know she’s in such great hands. Jen and her team has been taking care of our dog since he was brought into our family as a puppy! From consistent walks, amazing walkers and just all around dog people to overnight stays, she has been there for us throughout his life (and will be for the many years yet to come)! Jen has been in my dog's life for years (even though we've since moved to the suburbs.) She and her staff are flexible, reliable, and they LOVE their charges/pets. They truly understand my quirky, sweet dachshund and he loves them for it. He even got to sleep over Jen's house!! Jen is super responsive and capable and she chooses excellent staff members. Mariann did a super job of taking care of all our pets. She wiped Gus’ bulldog wrinkles so when we came home he looked perfect! She was very capable at feeding our birds too. Even tossed fish food to our outdoor goldfish. Communication was reassuring while we were away.

Knowing that someone will be there to give my cat some company and playtime while we’re away helps to alleviate some of the guilt that we have when leaving her. Our Sofie loves her sitters, and we love the daily photos and updates that they send to us. The sitters that we’ve had have both been so friendly and reliable. Can’t recommend this service enough!

We used Pet Nanny for several months until one day we saw their employee abusing our very fragile dog. They will deny it happened, but we saw it with our own eyes.

I used Pet Nanny in December of 2023. I had to pay $20.00 to two different pet sitters, just to meet them and familiarize them with my dog and house. Ok, that's a money grab, but I paid it. The one sitter, whom I pay $20 to come to my home forgot how to gain access to my home in only a short week. She then went to every door in my home and tried to gain access. I'm sure my dog really appreciated that. She was able to gain access because one of our sliders did not lock, lucky for my dog. She was scheduled to come to our home at Noon. We left early for a flight and I needed her at Noon. She did not show up until 1:30. The other pet sitter who was supposed to arrive at my home at 4PM did not arrive until 6:30. For both instances I was told by the office, "They have other jobs!" Caring for my dog is a job! Needless to say I cried all night the first night of my vacation. I was so sorry I hired this service for the care of my dog. I will never hire them again. The customer service and attitude of the office is unprofessional and a disgrace. They act like they are doing YOU a favor by paying inflated hourly rates along with a hidden "Administrative Fee" that you don't know about until you get the bill. I caution anyone from considering this company for your pet care.

We’ve been using the pet nanny for just a few weeks with our new puppy and are very happy with the service and especially Theresa our walker. She’s definitely made our in-office work days a little easier knowing the dog is well taken care of.

We have been a loyal PetNanny client for over a year now. We have had two primary PetNanny caregivers for our dog 3-4 days a week for an hour during this span. The caregivers walk and play with her as well as provide her with water and lots of love. We receive regular texts and photos from the caregivers at work about how our dog is doing. We have NEVER had a lapse in service. If a caregiver is unavailable, then PetNanny always supplies a backup person. Our caregivers are very experienced with dogs and have provided us with many helpful tips about raising her. Also, PetNanny is incredibly responsive if we have an emergency or unexpected need for dog service. We have never doubted the level of care and attention that our PetNanny walkers have given our dog. It has been consistently excellent. Many of our neighbors have commented on how loving our PetNanny caregivers are to our dog and about how much our dog loves each of them. We have already recommended PetNanny to several friends and family members.

Lisa is incredible. She has helped me so tremendously I can’t even put it into words. My cat Homer is a 16 year old newly diagnosed with diabetes, which makes leaving for holidays and events a bit harder due to his injections. Lisa has helped me more times than I can count, and Homer loves her! It is such a weight off my mind that he is being cared for so well. She sends updates and photos and is always so generous with her time. I can’t imagine what this past year would have been like without her help.

I have used Lisa Burke from Family Style Pet Sitting as my pet sitter for 13 years now. My old dog would actually get excited when he saw us packing for vacation because he knew he was going to go to Lisa’s house for his “vacation.” I never worried about him because I knew he was in the best possible hands. When he was sick and required special care and medicine, she was the only one I trusted. She also takes care of my two cats and my new dog, and she used to take care of my chickens when we had them as well. Highly recommend!!

Lisa was a God send for our family. We had a vacation planned which got changed around a few times due to a family emergency. Lisa was ready at every corner to adjust as she was able. I brought my 14 yr. old Cav. King Charles Spaniel, Bella, in for grooming this Am, and was immediately greeted by young, pleasant groomers who instantly made a fuss over her & welcomed her! We met Christina, who introduced herself as her groomer today, and she was so attentive to any details important to me, about my dog! She explained using the stomach support for safety, the drying process, and allotment of time (3-4hrs. is norm), to complete grooming. Timing is important to me, as my dog is frail (though she looks like a puppy), at 14 yrs. old. I was just ecstatic when I received a call that Bella was ready, in under 2 hrs, Yay and kudos to Christina, who showed true caring, kindness, and compassion towards this owner & dog’s needs! Bella looks beautiful! Christina did an excellent job, and I thank her sincerely & will be returning to Sit-Stay-Spa, as good groomers are hard to find!

I love Sit stay spa. They really look after our old girl. And the monkey girl. And listen to exactly what we need done. Our dogs are a lot of work they a patient and kind. And do an amazing hair cut. Would highly recommend them.

Brought our golden retriever for a grooming. Staff was very kind and efficient. My dog seemed to enjoy his time there! He smells amazing and they did such a good job with trimming him. I love to take my mini Long-hair dachshund to get washed, groomed and nails clipped. She looks so beautiful after she is done and her coat is shiny and smells wonderful. I can always trust in this spa that she is taken care of and spoiled. They use good quality hair products. The staff are professional groomers and they are very kind, dogs are gently cared for here.

Amazing, sweet groomers here! My dog is 13 with arthritis and anxiety, and this was the most calm and happy he's ever been right after a grooming session, plus his haircut is adorable and well-done. Highly recommend, we will definitely be back for regular grooming.

World class groomers. Best in the Philadelphia area. I have a husky and no other groomers take care of all of my dogs cosmetic needs like Sit Stay Spa. By far the best around. The attention to detail and follow through is like no other facility. I wouldn't want to take my dog anywhere other than here to be groomed.

My daughter recently spent a day here observing the staff as part of her junior initiative for high school. The owner, Marie, and all her staff are fabulous. The unit is quite small but offers adequate space for multiple dogs to be groomed at once. All dogs that my daughter witnessed during her day were very well taken care of, and they all left looking chique! Marie is incredibly personable and kind and offers pristine customer service. My daughter and I would highly recommend this location. Parking is quite limited.

My dog shakes like a leaf around these people. They don't understand dogs. Unbelievable how unprofessional and cruel these people are to not only dogs, they don't know dog breeds, and they are running a terrible business. I was picking up my dog from his grooming service this afternoon, which they told me they couldn't complete for the third or fourth time, since one of the groomers that used to work there left, so I asked them for an adjustment in the price of the service they provided, since they did not do everything we were paying for, and not only was I met with aggressive language by the owner but was completely surrounded and accosted by her husband and he started yelling at me, standing behind me, which made me incredibly uneasy and uncomfortable. I'd just paid money for services they told me they didn't do after the fact and they wouldn't refund me or discount me. I'm still horrified by the experience.

I contacted them to assist with transporting a rescue dog from one home to another. They responded on a Sunday and helped transport her the next day. They were on time and communicated with me the entire time. I am forever grateful that I found this company. They were the only company to call me back and they were amazing to work with. Thank you!

Pet Taxi I used pet taxi to get my dog spayed at Emancipet on Adam's Avenue. Very affordable from West Philadelphia to Northeast twice. Drivers were friendly and didn't mind waiting for check in and check out. I will absolutely use Collar Club pet taxi again and recommend it to friends.

Bree is truly the best! Sadie is our first dog ever and I was so nervous to leave her with anyone when we first got her. Bree was the first person to ever watch her for us, and we are so lucky to have found her! She sends us pictures whenever we ask for them, and when we leave her for the holidays she always gets special treats! Sadie absolutely loves Bree (and almost every time pees on her front steps out of excitement). Bree is super flexible, kind, and we can tell she genuinely loves every dog that comes to The Collar Club!

We hired Bree to house sit for a week in July, with our puppy and cat. Bree was a no-show for our first meet and greet; late for the rescheduled meet and greet; and nearly 2 hours late for the start of house sitting responsibilities. We thought, that’s ok, she is probably just busy. We provided clear written information on caring for the animals and plants. A neighbor texted to say that she had watered the front porch plants as they were getting crispy. I asked Bree if she would like help with the plants, offering that my neighbor could do all the watering. Bree told me that the plants were looking great and all was well. On the morning of our trip home, Bree informed us that she had fallen asleep without crating the puppy, and he had chewed the couch cover. She promised to pay to replace the cover. Accidents happen, we understood, and we were glad she offered to pay for the damaged item. When we returned home, however, we found that the dog had also chewed the rug and destroyed his bed; the dog enrichment puzzles and kongs we had asked Bree to use had not been touched. In addition, many plants were dead, the laundry machine was massively overfilled, and the air conditioning was set to 50 degrees (which could have broken the unit). We were pretty shocked at the state of things. We added up the cost of damage and provided Bree with an itemized list. We asked for less than half of the cost of damages. We heard nothing back, followed up three weeks later, and then received a message stating that we were causing Bree stress but that, yes, she would refund us the requested amount. By the next week, we hadn’t received the refund, so we followed up. Bree replied that her refunds go out net 15 days. We waited 20 days - still nothing. We followed up, and waited another 15 days - still nothing. This is 35 days total. We wrote to Bree that we would resort to small claims court if we didn’t receive the agreed refund. Bree replied that her accountant processes refunds and she has no control over it. So this is where we are. Given the damage and the lack of refund we may have to pursue legal options next week, and we definitely wouldn’t recommend.

We put a $440 deposit down in August to have our dog boarded. Sadly she did not pass an aggressiveness test and owner agreed to refund our money due to our circumstances. Weeks went by and we didnt get a refund even though they said they did it so we filed a complaint with our credit card company. The owner summited to the credit card company their terms of service for no refunds and because we only had text message proof they would not refund the money. We are out $440 and still waiting for them to return it to us

This was the first time my baby has stayed with Bree at the The Collar Club. Normally, both I and my baby have lots of anxiety. But today when we arrived my baby went straight to Bree and acted as if I didn't exist. She had a wonderful time and the anxiety we both normally have didn't occur today. It was as if we had known Bree forever. I will definitely use her services again and will tell others.

Bella is our baby and we changed the reservation twice because we wasn't sure if she would get Great care. Bree is the Best she is so loving and caring with Bella from treating her dry hair and recommending salmon oils to clipping those killer claws and she must of gave her a shower because she slept so good her backyard was full of entertaining for Bella and hubby was pleased I would be using this service forever Thanks Bree 😊🐕

My experience at the collar club was very reassuring and comfortable due to Bree and her diligence and communication with me during our time there. Her professionalism put me at ease at a time of uncertainty with where to have my animal kept, I highly advise using the collar club when in need of leaving your animal with someone responsible professional and caring.

I absolutely LOVE The Collar Club! I’ve been looking for a safe + dependable place for my puppy for when I need day/night care, and they are perfect. My puppy stayed with them for the weekend and everything from booking to pickup was amazing. I got to see real time updates via an app they use, and even got a little report card at pickup time to let me know how he did. Very pleased with their services and I will be returning soon :)

Bree and her team are the best! I take my cat there every time I travel. The communication is quick and efficient, drop off and pick up is easy, and I know my cat is taken care of while there. I can’t imagine going anywhere else!

We reached out to Five Paws very last minute to see if they would be able to watch our dog who had significant medical needs. They were wonderful from start to finish and I was so confident each time that she was in such great care. We've previously had her boarded and she would seem so stressed when we picked her up. We were desperate to find an alternative and we didn't look back once we started using Five Paws. They give updates, pictures and each time we came home she was as happy as can be. They provided such peace for us knowing she was in good hands and was happy especially given all of her medical concerns (dog dementia, blindness, hard of hearing, pain, etc..). Our Sahara has since passed but I would use them again and again with any dogs we may have in the future and cannot recommend them enough.

I don't trust anyone else with my pets when I'm away! I love that I know I will get photos of my cats and a report of how the visit went from the sitter. They take time to give the cats individual attention, not just coming in to feed, clean, and leave. Scheduling is very easy and the rates are reasonable.

Hi: Kudos to Five Paws Recently had Five Paws cat sit our cats and pond fish. The team at Five Paws hit a homerun with us. The team is very professional, respectful and loving to our gang. The team of Melinda and Blythe were so observant of our pets, even going out of the way to feed our strays, without blinking an eye. Special shout out to Melinda who really saved the day as she was feeding the fish in our pond, when she noticed that one of our goldfish got stuck in the filter. Without any hesitation she jumped in to save him, which would have been a disaster if she didn't as he would have passed and fouled the pond water. Five Paws provides the BEST pet-sitting service around! Finding them has made time away from our dogs stress-free, as we get fun updates and photos after every visit. The sitters have really gotten to know our dogs, and even our super-shy pup now loves when they come. Highly recommend!

Five Paws has taken excellent care of all my pets (rabbit, cat, mice) for many years now and they do an excellent job! They were even able to give my cat pills (in pill pockets) and coordinated with my vet once when she stopped eating and I could not be reached. They are reliable, responsible, trustworthy, and professional. I will continue to use them when I go on vacation and highly recommend them!

They've taken great care of my cats for a few years! I can relax on vacation, and love getting the photo reports each visit which show how my pets are doing.

We have been using Five Paws for a few years now, for small weekend trips or week long vacations. They have been so wonderful with our pups. It is a relief to know my dogs are in good hands and they can remain comfortable in their own space while we are away, instead of in a kennel which would stress my 13 year old pup too much. I always hate to leave them behind but I am so grateful to know they are happy and healthy and having fun while I’m gone.

We used Five Paws for our cat while we were on vacation. It was the first time we left her behind without family checking in, and I was a nervous wreck. Faith was our sitter, who took wonderful care of our girl. After every visit, we'd receive an update with multiple pictures. We've already put in our vacation request days for this summer!

I HIGHLY recommend hiring Five Paws of Delco! The owner is fantastic, the scheduling process is so simple, and all of the sitters are wonderful! They are EXTREMELY reliable and trustworthy, which is so important when you're away. They also have a great app used to communicate with each sitter and to see pics of your pups! I always receive such a sweet and detailed update from our sitter after every visit. I had an experience where I was out of the country using a different sitter (not Five Paws of Delco) who was supposed to watch my dogs at their house for the week. They decided that they no longer wanted to watch them after a couple days, so they dropped them back off at my house, alone. I was panicking, just having arrived in another country, so I reached out to Five Paws of Delco who immediately responded and scheduled multiple last minute visits for me. I cannot thank them enough for being there during this very stressful time! It's so comforting to know we always have them available to sit for our dogs. I promise you won't regret hiring this company!

We have been using Five Paws for a little over two years for noontime walks and visits for our miniature poodle. They are absolutely the best to work with!
