Spacious, comfortable, beautiful house and garden in an idyllic setting right on the river in this pretty Wiltshire village. The cats, Fen & Muffin are no trouble at all. Excellent information for sitters and Jeni is friendly and communicative and very well organised. A perfect base for exploring this underrated county with Stonehenge, Avebury and Salisbury Cathedral close by. Then there's Pewsey, Marlborough and Devizes - local towns for shopping and entertainment - not to mention the Kennet & Avon Canal which links those towns and is well worth several visits! We thoroughly enjoyed our two month housesit and wouldn't hesitate to return!
House sitting for Dianna and Scott was an absolute pleasure! Communication prior and during the house sit was easy and quick. They’re both incredibly kind and warm. They both welcomed us into their beautiful, comfortable home. They had everything we needed to have a good stay and provided us with plenty of cat food, litter, treats, etc. for our entire time. Potito was a pleasure to care for! He’s an independent cat, but don’t let that fool you. Once he warms up to you (the trick is playing hard to get!), he’ll ask for petting, playing, and cuddling. Their home is in a fantastic location in SE Portland, not far from the popular Hawthorne St and Laurel Hurst! There’s a small park across the street and the neighborhood is very walkable. A block away is a bus stop and about 1.5 mile is a Max station for the red, blue, and green lines. Grocery stores are nearby, both Safeway and an organic store are within 0.5 miles. If you’re up to a longer walk, downtown is about a 45 minute walk. We highly recommend house sitting for Dianna and Scott. We consider them friends and hope to house sit for them in the future!

I absolutely have no words to properly tell you how amazing my stay was at Jon's place. It was my first house sit and I couldn't have hoped for a better experience, for better people and for a better little dog. Jon is a wonderful host, his cottage is so lovely, the village and the surroundings are stunning, with so many walking paths around. Just go ahead. Let's finish by the little thing who stole my heart... Tinks is just the most adorable creature I've ever met. I will definitely miss our cuddles, our tennis sessions, our long walks and our pub expeditions. Thank you again Jon for these wonderful last two weeks, I can't wait to come back! I loved sitting for Ginger, Crusty, and Maggie. They're all such sweet, loving little dogs. Clare was very welcoming and it's obvious, there's a lot of love in their house. The pups were easy to care for and such snuggle bugs.

While I am not big in writing reviews, and this is quite possibly my first ever - I felt the need after Leann went out of her way to accommodate and help out. While traveling in the area from up North, I had lined up a sitter for a a few hours a day over the course of two days for my 6 month old Malinois. After the sitter plans fell through I took to google to find a local kennel with a hope and a prayer. And Leann made that prayer come true. Extremely pleasant on the phone and very welcoming - she said to come on in and her staff would help out. Dropping Kacey off, Karen instantly met me and was extremely inviting and energetically pleasant. Karen took me to were Kacey was going to be housed for a few hours and I took note on how clean the entire place was. It wouldn’t surprise me if my Kacey - being in a new environment for the very first time - was a disruption to their normal operating schedule - but they never let on. This place checks all the boxes - Professional, Friendly, Experienced and a pleasure to deal with.
I am so thankful Nightwatch Kennel was recommended to me for my Bernese Mountain Dog, Lucky. I don't have to board him very often, but when I do it is such a relief to know he is in good hands. Lucky is always happy when we arrive at Nightwatch and when I pick him up it is always clear he has been well taken care of. We love nightwatch! We were referred by a friend. They hire professional staff, they take the dogs out appropriately, and are so easy to work with. The only down side is everyone loves them so much that they book up fast, so you have to book several months in advance. Great service!
We have taken our German Shepard to another kennel and when we picked him up he was a hot mess. I was nervous this time to kennel him again but the staff at Nightwatch was amazing. When we got him THIS TIME, he hardly wanted to come home he had so much fun. Thank you to the staff! 100% would send our Shepherd to you guys again!
Had a great first experience with them and had to wait 3 weeks past his groom time because they were so busy. Finally the day came and I drove there at 8 AM only to get a phone call the groomer had car trouble and was canceling. No back up or we will squeeze you in somewhere. She just said she’d call me in a few days to re-schedule. I am coming from a half hour away with a dog that is very nervous in the car and was freaking out the whole way home. Very disappointed and not sure if I will go back.
Lynn was wonderful with Arthur! She was so nice with my wife on the phone and cut Arthur just like we wanted. We are so happy with the results and will definitely be back. It’s safe to say we found our new groomer.
This is a wonderful place for dogs to stay when they have to be away from home. The staff is extremely loving and our dogs come home exhausted from all the fun they have. Every time we return, our puppies can not wait to get inside. We highly recommend NightWatch!!!
My Douglas does not like being away from home, but if I need to leave him somewhere I know he will be safe and cared for, I take him to Hounds Town Central Bucks! The staff are so excited to see the pups when they walk through the door, they are very attentive and give you a report card about your dogs day when you pick them up, and they take lots of pictures and videos throughout the day. My Dougie is super low energy, but this place would be great for a dog who needs to let out energy and socialize!

Haven’t done a full day yet, but the evaluation was a great experience. From welcoming Mocha by name when she walked in, to everyone making a fuss over her.. and showing me (the nervous mom) everything at the facility… and then taking Mocha’s back to school photo.. really fun. Hoping to be back this week! UPDATE: mocha went for her first day and while nervous - did great! The staff was so amazing - calling through the morning to keep me updated allowing me to decide how to best get my girl acclimated
Rocket loves his days at doggy daycare. He has separation anxiety and this has helped so much. He gets so excited when we pull up. He runs to the door! Rocket tried his first overnight stay and was exhausted! He loves his friends and the staff! We are so lucky to have found Hounds Town! The pricing is reasonable and we like that reservations aren’t required for their daycare. The staff is incredible!
Our pup Gino absolutely loved his stays at Hounds Town! Literally dragged us to the door on the return visit. What is even better are the wonderful people that work there, both front of house and those that take care of our furry children in the play areas. Plus, you can tell they keep the place immaculate. And what’s equally amazing is the groomer, Richard, who did the best job with Gino’s first cut. 🐶💕💕

My girls just got home from their first day at daycare and they seemed to have a great time! Bill and Linda and the rest of the folks at Hounds Town were all so warm and welcoming. My girl, Lillie, is very shy and so they made sure to keep an eye on her and saw that she made a friend even though she was a little nervous. We have been relying on Penny, Liv and Wiggles n Wags for over 5 years now. I can’t rave enough about their services and level of care they provide to our 3 cats when we are away. No issue with medicine, the cats are extremely well cared for (including play time!), we get daily updates with pictures from each visit, and everything is neat and tidy when we return home. I cannot overstate how much I appreciate Wiggles n Wags and their pet sitting! They are very professional and respectful of my space, and best of all they seem to genuinely care about my animal and his welfare. One time when my flight was delayed by a day they were quick to respond and schedule an extra visit so that my cat did not go hungry. I was extremely grateful. My cats are my fur-kids and when I go away Penny and team are the only ones I trust to take care of them. One of my boys is diabetic and requires insulin injections and with the Wiggles and Wags team on duty I rest assured knowing that they will be taken care of. Great service!
Our family confirmed in home services 6 months ahead of our son’s wedding where we could not travel with our dog. This reservation was reconfirmed to us 3 weeks before the June event. Over Memorial Day weekend Penny backed out of that commitment by phone and told us she could not honor our reservation due to an employee leaving her company.
I've used TLPC for a few years now. I know my older pug, Gus, just adores Brett. Gus is normally very excitable around guys, but when we first met Brett, Gus calmed down in about 30 seconds--Brett's energy was just right, and that told me TLPC was right for my pugs. He took care of Gus and my beloved (now passed) Jazz and now Gus with Chica, my most recent pug addition to the family. Though it's never easy to travel and leave either or both of my pugs behind, I know they will get the best care from TLPC!

My young Pit Bull gets excited when we arrive and can't wait to get out of the car and go play in their huge great yard as well as go on controlled walks. The facility is clean and has nice big rooms for her overnight stays. Brett and his family are also very knowledgeable about the animals they care for and you really won't find a better place or people to care for your pet when you can't be with them. I have been using TLC for 10 years, since Brett started his business. TLC offers all the services we need including overnight boarding. TLC has a great staff of walkers who always accommodate MY schedule. They also leave a Status Card after each visit, so I know what time they arrived/departed and what activities were rendered during the visit (walk, pee, poop, treats given, etc). I take great comfort in knowing my precious dog is in good hands with TLC.

Ben and his great crew are the best! Our two dogs are very well taken care of and Doylestown Dogs are super flexible with changes in schedule, unexpected travel, etc. It is a much better alternative to boarding in our view and experience. Our girls get to stay in their own home and aren’t faced with the stress of a kennel.

Ben and his team took great care of our dog Rita while we were on vacation! She had always been cared for by family members when we would travel so it was our first time working with Ben. Rita is shy but his patience and kindness allowed her to realize she was just as loved. The company provided great communication about the visits.
I can’t begin to tell you how amazing Trish is with my fur baby Penelope (Penny). She doesn’t just come and feed her and leave. She hangs out with her and plays with her toys and gives her lots of love. And one of the best parts is she sends me pics everyday while we are away. Trish is the biggest animal lover that I have ever seen. I will use her again and again and feel safe knowing my baby is taken care of.
Trish has been very helpful in walking my dog, while out of town for extended periods, and the dog is under the care of my older inlaws. She provided updates and cute photos which I appreciated while away. My inlaws only had positive things to say and appreciated the support she was able to provide. Would recommend!

Pets Are Inn took wonderful care of our cat while were were traveling for 2 weeks. They picked her up at our house, placed her a loving home where she was clearly well cared for, and then dropped her off at our house at the end of her visit. Driving around trying to enjoy the rainy day with my family and was tailgated by this company’s vehicle, license plate “pet paws” they were inches from our bumper and were driving very reckless… would not trust my dog in this vehicle if THATS how youre driving around, we also witnessed them tailgating several other vehicles once we let them in-front of us and going well over the speed limit. Do better.
We just had our first experience with Pets are Inn this past week with our 5 year old pug. To say I was impressed is an understatement. The service was exactly how it was explained to me on our initial call. The transportation was super convenient and I loved that I could send him with familiar things such as his bedding, toys and food. I received daily photos of my dog to let me know he was ok. Overall, I spent the week enjoying my vacation and not worrying about my dog thanks to Pets are Inn. They will be my first call for our next vacation!

We just boarded our senior dog and 2 year old Golden Retriever with Pets Are Inn for 3 nights. It was a great experience! We usually have them stay with family/friends but that wasn't an option for this trip. We had planned to board them in a traditional kennel but after a daycare trial, our golden came back wet with drool and an upset stomach. I knew we couldn't do that for an overnight stay. We heard about Pets Are Inn from other clients of our trainer. The thorough interview with Andrew put me at ease about using Pets Are Inn. Both drivers that picked up and dropped off Stella and Violet were wonderful. Shannon was so great with both dogs and they were ready to hop right in and go with her. The first text showing them happily arriving at their host's home made us all relax. We loved seeing the pictures of them enjoying their vacation everyday. Both dogs came home happy and healthy. Thank you for taking such great care of Stella and Violet! We will definitely be using Pets Are Inn for our future trips.
