I travel a lot and have had many folks watch my dog over the past few years, so I have a high bar when it comes to pet care. Zoe was one of the best sitters I’ve had. She was organized, responsive, and extremely detail-oriented. She came to meet me and my dog Carl a day early, and Carl immediately fell in love with her, which put me at ease and made me feel relaxed about her stay. Throughout the sit, Zoe sent me regular updates about how Carl was doing. I think he got better care with her than he does with me! Coming home, my flight was delayed, but Zoe went out of her way to stay a few extra hours so that Carl didn’t have to be alone for an extended period of time. To top it all off, I came home to a clean house and to houseplants that had never looked happier. I’d have Zoe come and sit again any time. She is truly exceptional.
This place is perfect for animal lovers! 🥰 Marshall is a friendly and lovely cat, always ready to play with you. On the other hand, Jinx is shy, so don’t be pushy and give him time to get used to you. Avoid using a loud vacuum cleaner around him; instead, try playing with a toy mouse when he’s more accustomed to your presence. The guinea pigs are charming and eagerly await their next feeding. Chappo the turtle is smart and attentive. Watching the fish is a relaxing experience. Communicating with Indra and Thibault is easy and quick. Thank you for recommending the Hot Club Gent; we highly recommend it to jazz and beer enthusiasts. It’s convenient to take the tram from the apartment to the train station and city center. The apartment is comfortable, but it would be helpful to reduce the moisture in the bathroom by adding the ability to open a window and using a dehumidifier. Thank you guys for your hospitality; we would be happy to return if the opportunity arises.😊
had a wonderful time petsitting for Elizabeth ! Phin is a sweet, dear little dog who is always ready to play and go for an adventure. Pebbles the cat will start purring right when you touch him, is playful and likes being around and in the action ! these two play together and are endearing brothers to each other. chickens were easy to care for and it was lovely to enjoy their eggs. the house was very clean and prepared for us, i felt welcomed and at home. fantastic location, beautiful home setup, lovely yard and patios. i felt safe and welcomed in the neighborhood. i deeply appreciated Elizabeth’s kindness, clear communication, and hospitality. thanks so much for the sit and accommodating my pet and guests, would love to sit again if dates align !
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Isobel's lovely house, which has a very good feel. She left very useful information about the house and animals, and responded quickly and helpfully to a couple of animal enquiries. The kittens were engaging and entertaining, and when the sun came out we sat on a bench and enjoyed the peaceful garden with one or more on our laps, or playing nearby. The sheep and hens were easy to do - all are clearly much loved, and well cared for. Feniton is a lovely village to explore, and we enjoyed the superb view from the walk up to the reservoir. We also had many hours of happy (though utterly unskilled) table tennis in the conservatory. Nearby we found everything we needed in Joshua's farm shop, which also has a good cafe, and we had some excellent meals at the beautiful and unusual Yellow Deli in Honiton. Thank you both for the use of your lovely house; we felt very much at home!
Had a nice time in Calgary with Jokes the cat. He was no trouble at all and the area was very nice for walks.
This was an amazing sit. We were very relaxed in Victoria's beautiful home and the pets were great. The house was spotless and was equipped with everything we needed, the area was quiet, on a cul de sac so no traffic noise and the drive was ample for us to park our van. Storm is a fab dog, she is very gentle and walks very well on her lead, uninterested in other dogs or people, she sat quietly in coffee shops. We took her out with us when we went out for the day although Victoria assured us that she could be left no problem for a few hours. We planned our trips with drives of under half an hour in case Storm didn't enjoy travelling in the van and there was a surprising amount of places of interest within that radius, but in fact we could have ventured further afield as she was also an angel when we driving. Arnie is a beautiful cat, no trouble he has his cat flap to come and go as he pleases. He was very comical and was very enthusiastic for his food and like cuddles on his own terms! Victoria was absolutely lovely, very welcoming and made sure she gave us a thorough house tour so we knew where everything was before she left. We exchanged WhatsApp messages everyday and they were always prompt and friendly. A five star experience of house sitting and we would be happy to return.
