David and Jen were very nice and welcoming. All the fur babies were wonderful and full of personality. Goose was incredible. Playful, spunky and stole my heart ❤️. We enjoyed our time with them . It was a nice quiet neighborhood and the home was beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed feeding the deers everyday . Since we have been back home , we have truly missed them . Would not hesitate to house sit again . David and Jen, thank you both for your hospitality.

I had the pleasure of housesitting for Tucker and Sam and looking after their great dog Calvin.

Spending time with Calvin was a real treat. He was super friendly and warmed up to me in no time. (I told Tucker and Sam he had become my "shadow," following me around the apartment after the first or two.) Calvin was very well behaved and listened well when I would give him commands like "go place" before eating his meals or to "sit" when I was going to give him a treat. When we would go out for walks, he was able to easily maintain his cool, even when other dogs would bark or get excited around him. Calvin is a relatively mellow dog; I work from home, and he would keep me company as I worked at the desk or on the couch (but would hop right up as soon as I got his leash!).

Tucker and Sam's place has everything you could need and is centrally located in Logan Circle. Trader Joe's is about a 10 minute walk, as are other supermarkets, restaurants, bars, cafes, and more. While they're close to a metro stop, I enjoyed being able to easily walk most places around D.C. Tucker and Sam were kind, communicative and welcoming hosts that made me feel right at home.

I would highly recommend spending some time with Calvin at Tucker and Sam's place!

Leo was a joy to watch! He is smart, playful, and fun, with a strong love for his routine and a very expressive canine way of communicating. Our twice-daily walks and playtime were highlights of my stay, and I only wish the sit had been longer.

Michelle provided a very detailed information sheet beforehand. Even though I had the pleasure of meeting her in person before they departed, it wasn't necessary because everything was so well spelled out. Their home was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. I highly recommend this sit and hope I have the opportunity to sit for them again!
