We had a highly enjoyable sit in Julia and Jeremy’s Oast house in Sussex. The house has everything you need and is very warm, comfortable and exceptionally peaceful ,in fantastic garden surroundings. Molly is a very easy dog to look after, very quiet and relaxed and is good company. She’s getting on a bit so we walked her every day but not very far and luckily there is fabulous countryside right from the door for gentle meanderings! Biscuit is a young ginger kitten and is full of beans and great fun, also extremely affectionate ! There are a lot of glorious National Trust gardens and properties very close so plenty to do, we’d especially recommend Sisssinghurst and Charleston, the wonderful house of the Bloomsbury Set back in the day. Julia and Jeremy are very welcoming , the pets are lovely and the surroundings are beautiful so, all in all , a sit well worth doing!
Kate and Mike were very welcoming to their beautiful home, as were the super friendly doggos, Eddie and Bertie. The dogs were sweet and cuddly and well trained. Their routine meant they were easy to care for. The Lodge is set in the most amazing Glen with plenty of opportunities for homes and swims and chasing waterfalls. The house itself is clean, warm and well appointed and our room was welcoming. The bed was very very comfortable and the bathroom luxurious. It may seem remote with a half hour drive up the drive way but it’s not isolated, with a near neighbour and walkers walking up the Glen so you don’t feel like you’re all alone in the world. Thanks Mike and Kate for a lovey stay and experience. And thanks for the absolute perfect weather!
I had my first pet sitting experience through this website and it went just perfect. All thanks to Felicity who were very hospitable and friendly. I felt so welcomed as if I were at home. Unfortunately I didn't have a chance to meet Markus in person, but all three of us were communicating in whatsapp chat. The cats are just the best ones in the world. They don't bring any trouble at all. They spend most of the time sleeping, and they also like to walk outside, so their toilets are mostly clean, as they don't use them. :) The next day I arrived they already accepted me as their friend, allowed to pet them (and even asked for it!). What an amazing sit. Bitsy and Dave were the ideal hosts. They made us very welcome. They now feel part of our extended family. Their sweet cat Gypsy was a pleasure to look after. Their amazing apartment is situated within easy walking distance to the beautiful village of Ponte De Lima. Also easy drive to so many other beautiful and wonderful places.
