Finally...a pup whom I don't hafta bend down to pet! Rupert is a sweet cuddle bug who stays glued to your left side (good heal) while walking UNTIL he and his brother-from-another-Mother Nigel see a dog. Then it's enter Killer Standard Poodle mode, really? Good thing those gentle leaders don't give way and that they respond to correctional commands to some degree. Sheese. Rupert is a bit of a bully to both his older brother, at times, and definitely to other dogs encountered at the Warm Springs dog Park. Being only 2 years old, Rupert's just entering mature doghood / should be settling down, growing out of his rambunctious stage very soon. Bryan's building is newer construction and plunked down right at the edge of a lovely, super walkable historic home district. The unit has all one needs, including the very convenient in-suite laundry. The only hassle to pet sitting at Bryan's is that you're in a mid-rise apartment building so the convenience of letting dogs out into a yard is lacking. If Bryan would just teach those boyz to push the elevator buttons, they'd be golden. ; )
We had the amazing pleasure of spending almost 4 weeks in Ronda with Meno and Pucks tribe of dogs, donkeys and chickens. Meno and Puck are very friendly hosts and welcomed us into their beautiful home and expected us to treat it as our own. We got there a few days early so we could get to know the routines of everyone. Feeding 10 dogs is surprisingly not that hard once you get all the names down pat. It helps that the dogs know where their spot is, and they are all very polite and don’t try to push in. Even the donkeys know the routine and what they should be doing… even if they can be a little stubborn about it on occasion! We enjoyed every single dog from the smallest Pinkel, to the largest Tootsie and everypuppy in between… the babies Magnum and Cleo, and Sienna, Mohito, Pete, Dapper, Pippo and Ivy. They all have such great personalities and we really enjoyed sitting out the back having a beer or a cup of tea while enjoying watching them play or nap. Meno and Pucks place really is a paradise, it is hard to describe how beautiful the location is, and how homely and welcoming their home is for visitors. The house is clean, well equipped and the internet works well. There is plenty to see locally, and good access to different supermarkets etc in town. We would definitely recommend applying for this house sit if you have the opportunity. We will definitely return if our dates line up in the future. Not only did we get to stay in a lovely location, but we made lifelong friends in Meno and Puck.
A housesit in Notting Hill with a cute cat, an amazing view over the lovely neighborhood and a private park 🤩 I couldn’t ask for more. Anne and Robert welcomed me the evening before and we had a lovely dinner together. Sootie was cute and funny and we had lots of cuddles on the couch. Communication has been very easy going and I already got another invitation from Anne. Unfortunately I was busy already, but hopefully next time. I’d love to come back 😍 Thanks for everything!
Rebekah has an awesome apartment located in a great part of Cincinnati. She was very good at communicating with me and made sure I had everything I needed for the sit. Fiddlestick was a great cat to look after, very cuddly and playful. Would absolutely recommend sitting for Rebekah if you're able to.
Nellie is such a sweet dog! She is very kind, pretty independent since she likes playing in the garden, and playful. She was an amazing dog to take care of because of her personality but also the location: it was so easy to bring her to the dog park and so fun to see her play with the other dogs! The house is amazing too, in a great neighborhood. It is quite easy to spend some time in D.C. and it is near great activities in Falls Church. And of course, Helen and Matthew were very helpful and nice! Thank you for this great sit :)
Mark was a terrific host. We didn't get to meet in person, but mark had done such a great job on the welcome guide that we felt well equipped to care for his band of pups. They were excited to meet us when we arrived. Jax&Ace were well trained and Jax loves to play so fetch. Lola&Coco took their time, but eventually warmed up to us within a day. Mark's home was very welcoming and easy to get around. Thanks again for opening your home to us. We enjoyed every moment.

We have been using Little Paws to do puppy visits and short walks for our new puppy. Carla is always punctual and I love getting a photo / video from every visit. She has been great at giving Raffie lots of different experiences - playing in the garden, walk to the park, training on the long lead, walking with one of her own dogs etc. I am more than happy to recommend Little Paws and will be using them for doggy day care and home boarding in the future.
We checked our dog Basil in for day care recently. We were nervous as it was his first time away from us but Carla reassured us. She did an amazing job with him, introduced him to her dogs and kept us updated via WhatsApp with messages and videos. Would definitely reccomend!

My regular dog sitter was fully booked, so needless to say I was quite nervous about finding a new sitter for my furry baby while we were supposed to go on vacation. After intensive search for a new host, I got in touch with Kevin & Crystal from Buddy's Pet Care. Chester usually barks at strangers, needs a bit of time to warm up to people. As soon as we got at their place for a meet and greet, instead of barking he was all kisses and jumps of joy. I realized that Chester will be in good hands during his 3 weeks stay with them. During our vacation, I received updates with photos and comforting words to let me know that Chester was doing great. It was obvious that they care about dogs - loves and treats them as they are their own. Kevin and Crystal are beyond awesome. Thank you very much for putting me at ease and for taking such a good care of our boy. Highly recommended for all the pet parents. 5 Stars review, very well deserved. We have booked already Chester’s stay with them for our Christmas vacation.

When my parents were unexpectedly taken ill at very short notice, Kevin was able to collect my parent’s puppy and look after him for us, while they recovered. Initially this was to be for a long weekend, and they ended up having Toby for two weeks. Very reliable, and totally flexible, nothing was too much trouble for Kevin and Crystal. Toby has obviously been extremely well looked after, and has come home happy and well. We will definitely use their services again, and recommend to all our doggy friends.
Our dogs love it. They are well cared for and happy to go each time! They also offer boarding if you need it. We left our dogs for a week while we were away on a trip that wasn't dog friendly. They were happy and healthy and while pleased to see us visible happy to be at buddy's.
Jan 2023: Our dog has just spent the last 2.5 years with Buddy, Kevin and Cristal. Our dog would bound out the front door, so excited to see them - they've been a huge part of his development. Kevin and Cristal treated our dog like their own and gave us advice when we asked for it. Freddie spent many nights and a few weeks whilst we went away, without a single issue. So sad we have now moved away from the area, but hoping our dog gets his holidays at Buddy's still. Thank you Kevin and Cristal, you're amazing! Nov 2020: Our dog absolutely loves his days with Buddy and the other pooches. We haven't used Buddy's for any overnights yet, just daycare - but we won't hesitate too.
Kevin has looked after our outdoor rabbit on several occasions and he is always reliable, trustworthy, does an excellent job and often goes above and beyond. When it was very hot he put ice bottles out for the bunny to cool down against! We will continue to be using him and thoroughly recommend his services for any pets.
We used Kevin from Buddy's Pet Care to pop in & look after our cat whilst we were away on holiday and we couldn't be happier with the service! Our English bulldog just loves every day he has at Pawfect Playdays. We know that he will come home exhausted from a day full of fun where he can just be himself. My Labrador Isla has been going to Jade since she was 14 weeks old. She absolutely loves it at Pawfect Playdays and drags me from the car to the door. She gets lots of stimulation and activities, but also time to just sleep on a sofa, or cuddled up with Jade, Jane or one of the other wonderful Playdays staff. I feel completely confident when she is there and Jade is always on hand to give amazing advice if you need it. She is a very experienced dog owner and has such a passion for the animals in her care. The team keep us informed of all goings on, and they give us regular updates of how he is doing. My Collie pup, Oban, started at Pawfect Playdays in January and absolutely loves going there. Jane & Jade who run doggy day care have been fantastic with Oban and when he goes he can't wait to get out of the car to play with his doggy friends.I feel that the level of care and professionalism of the team means I know he is in safe hands.
We don't use doggy day care often but when we do, our dog has the best time. Jane and her team always welcome Mochi and share photos and videos of him having fun.

Oxford Pet Whisperers are an exceptional team of caring and dedicated professionals whom I completely trust with our puppy. Our golden retriever Ella is a regular daycare visitor and this year we tried the doggy hotel facilities for the first time. It gave us peace of mind as we knew she will be comfortable knowing all staff and environment, and she absolutely loved it, I don't think she was very impressed when we turned up to pick her up 5 days later, she wanted to carry on with the fun! We had a couple of updates on how she is getting on which was lovely to have. And you can see what your pup is up to during the days on Instagram account. Would definitely recommend this over regular kennels!
Lovely introduction. The business has an amazing concept with everything to make the dogs and the owners happy. So much space and all is clean and safe. Even the air gets filtered. My dog didn't want to come with me home after 30 minutes there.
once again Oxford pet whisperer have outdone themselves my little baby Frenchie had the time of his life actually came back with some extra manners. They also managed to squeeze me in a short note as I had to go away thank you very much for everything you’ve done.
We booked our dog in for a puppy groom last year. We looked online and saw that it was going to cost £10 but were surprised by hidden charges and ended up paying around £35-£40. The female groomer was not friendly towards our dog and did not even ask for his name, then was rude when we arrived back a few minutes late to collect him. He did not look well groomed and certainly did not look happy in his post groom photo (see pic). Upon returning home we found out why as the groomer had cut him under the eye and did not tell us. It looked like she had just washed the wound and covered it up. Luckily it did not become infected. We were very displeased and frankly disgusted with the service but due to other factors in life getting in the way at the time we never reached out to Oxford Pet Whisperers, hence the late review. We would certainly not return nor recommend their services to anyone else.
From the start, they have been very accommodating, professional and so friendly! We love the amount of time our pup gets to play and socialise with her friends as well as the first week report card and ongoing photos we can see on social media during her visits! A really well-run and dog centric business who we will be sure to continue to use 👍🏻

Thank you so much for another fabulous groom on Friday. The family commented on how silky soft his coat was and he smelt fabulous. Teddy is so happy at OPW he goes off happily and comes home content and in need of a good long snooze. Having a bath/groom at OPW is a must, especially if the children/grandchildren are home for the weekend as Teddy looks and smells great. Roll on his Christmas groom . Couldn’t recommend highly enough! Jamie, Natalie and the team are amazing. I’ve been sending my dog Cooper to oxford pet whisperers for a year and a half now since he was a puppy and I wouldn’t dream of using any other daycare/dog walking service. They are experts in their field and take such good care of Cooper. He comes home tired out for the evening after a day at daycare and as soon as I turn the corner in to the car park to drop him off, he gets so excited! The pick up and play service is great too as it allows me to be a lot more flexible with work! The daily updates on Instagram are fantastic as it allows you to see what your dogs been getting up to in the day. Couldn’t give a more glowing review ⭐️
We have used Sarah regularly (several times a week) for over a year to walk our two terriers. She has been reliable and professional throughout this time. She understands our dogs different needs and reports back if anything is not right - one of our dogs is elderly, doesn’t like the heat and can have good and bad days. Sarah meets her needs and works with what each day brings!
Sarah has been taking my two dogs out for walks, generally at least 3 days per week, for about 18 months now, they love their walks with Sarah, on the odd occasion that I am home when she arrives I see how excited they are to see her! She is really conscientious, on wet days she makes sure to towel dry them when dropping them back home & always makes sure they have clean water after their walks. She is really flexible, often taking them out with very short notice! I highly recommend Sarah!!
Sarah is amazing! She is a real dog person, professional, knowledgeable, and adaptable. We would have anyone else looking after our dog, who she has looked after since he was a puppy. She has a background as a veterinary nurse, and cares for other animals on her farm. Our dog cannot wait to leave when she comes to collect him, and he loves staying with when we are away.
Sarah is amazing. She really does deliver a professional service. We have two ex-hunting rescue dogs who are lovely but both have their quirks - she looks after them brilliantly and they absolutely adore their time with her. She's walked them regularly for the past year and even brings some of her dogs over for "play dates" so that ours can have some doggie social fun in a safe setting at home. She's mega reliable, super professional and always gets back to you promptly. She has even helped us out when we've been stuck and has generally been a godsend. I am v picky with who looks after our two boys, but will happily recommend her 100%. If you are at all thinking of getting any help with looking after any of your pets then she is definitely the answer!
Have recently started sending our 20 month old pup to Sarah for extra socialisation and some additional training around livestock and we couldn't be happier. Sarah was recommended to us by a friend, has great general knowledge of dogs as well as being a trained vetinary nurse gives us absolute faith our dog is in good hands for the day. Seen a great improvement in her already and would not hesitate to recommend.
A true professional service with a real person committed to dog welfare and wellbeing. She fully understood the individual client needs and I was thoroughly confident in leaving GEORGE in her capable hands. I have a weekly walk and check up done on the days I'm at work and GEORGE has never been happier. I have tried other dog walkers and never have I felt so comfortable leaving my little boy with a non family member. I would whole heartedly recommend this service.

Cherry has been walking Winnie and Wilma for 12 years now and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough. Totally reliable, trust worthy and clearly loves the job she does with both dogs eager to go out with her each day. You Wouldn’t want anyone else looking after the fur babies!

Perfect example of a personal service. The team are great, our pup gets a really good walk (often for much longer than we expect). They accommodate us last minute when needed for busy days at work. My only worry is he likes them more than us :)

We’ve just picked up our 5yo Boerboel from a long weekend at Downlands. Mikey is dog reactive and can be fairly fussy with people and I could not be happier with Andrew and the team. I called once a day to check in, and was reassured he was happy and in good hands. Upon collection he was very excited and had clearly had a good time. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be using them again.
Enquired by email and Richard booked the dogs in without us giving consent that we would put the dogs in. I received a call asking if the dogs were coming.recieved a very rude phone call, slammed the phone down, and never returned emails. Great customer service not .
Our dog is always happy to go, and the staff are all really friendly and helpful. The Kennels have also been really flexible with us in the past, having the dog stay an extra night when we were late getting home. Really happy with everything the kennels do, absolutely no complaints

Downlands is the only place I will happily leave my cat. The staff are just lovely, so friendly and approachable. My furry friend always comes back happy and well looked after. His own staycation whilst we not about.
My dog stresses out quite easily and he hates being separated from me, but I have no worries about leaving him at Downlands. They are unbelievably professional and certainly have the knowledge of how to handle all types of dogs. I travel 23 miles to get to the kennels and well, well worth it, knowing he is safe and being cared for. It gives me tremendous peace of mind. Highly recommend Andrew and his staff - they are brilliant.
Mia our labradoodle stayed at Downlands for 4 days, she came back home clean, happy and healthy. The facilities are great, Mia was able to run daily and play ball with one of the kennel staff everyday. Nice to know that when you do have to go away that your pet can be left in such good hands. Great job Downlands!
