My son and I really enjoyed our stay at Eryn and Josh’s home! They have a very comfy bed and lots of good books! Their neighbourhood is beautiful and offers everything we need! The cats are so adorable and friendly! We will miss them!
Galadriel is so adorable. She's inquisitive and once she gets to know you, will demand her pets as she sits atop you. She is loving and playful! She knows her boundaries and will let you know when she wants a break by sitting in one of her fave spots. But she'll soon come back to sit near you. Remarkably, she can tell time. She'll remind you when it's time to eat even if it's a couple hours early. LOLLOL I would definitely sit Galadriel again. The home was comfortable and a great location in South Philly. A bus ride or short car ride will get you nearby to local attractions & grocery stores. The bed was comfy and the shower hot with good water pressure. Austin & co were great at communication and letting me know what Galadriel's needs are. They are welcoming and very kind. Consider yourself to get this sit if you like friendly and curious cats!
I had a wonderful house sitting time. Together with my partner we spent a week at the Grove Farm and even had the pleasure to meet Fiona. Jess, the lab, grew warm to us instantly. She loves a walk after dinner and sometimes she will lead the way. I gave her a fun shower after our last walk which she enjoyed, especially being dried off with the towels. I would not have thought so, but I really miss her and the two cats Africa and Wilson. Wow, they are fit and sweet although 13 years old. They love being outdoors and often sneak in for a tiny bit of milk or for hanging out with us in the living room. Africa loved parking himself on my lap when we watched TV. The chickens were super easy to take care of. Mornings I got up, left them out of their pen, after I fed them, then I prepared Jess ´ breakfast and finally the cats were fed too. This allowed us to either do some home office (great internet connectivity all the way to the garden), or to visit the beautiful surroundings. We were usually back by 5.30pm for dinner :)))). My bedroom (double bed) was cosy and the bed and bed sheets wonderful and there is one bedroom where the bed is a bit shorter. Fiona even gave us towels although we had brought our own. We would love to return one day. The New Forest area is one of its kind, free roaming horses on the paths, streets, fields, forests, I have never seen anything so lovely anywhere else.
We came a night before Andre, Melanie and their son Louis left, so we could get acquainted with eachother. They welcomed us with a lovely meal, called Tartiflet and we drank a nice wine. We immediately became befriended with Darcy and Chilly.(and their owners:)) We had brought our Irish Setter girl, who loved to play with little cheeky Chilly and brave Darcy ;they all joined us on the sofa at night. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, in a nice surrounding near a park. However, they are are going to move to a new house in Tours.. . We hope to visit them there again !!!!
I had the most incredible time with Boots during Susan's trip this Spring. In three short weeks Boots grew from an impish kitten to an interested and interesting young adult with many ways to entertain. He loves his toys! He loves hiding and then pouncing as you walk by. If you throw his ball he'll run after it, bat it around a bit then pick it up in his teeth and bring it back to you to throw again - just like a dog, he plays fetch! He's quite intelligent too. He knows when you want him to do something (although doesn't always obey! ;)). And he's very sweet - he loves to cuddle on the sofa and will watch tv with you. Loves to be scratched and petted behind his ears, his chin, and his cheeks. He also loves watching the birds and other activity outside through the window, which will keep him entertained for hours. He loves his dry food so no problem with feeding, although he also appreciates a treat now and then. Along with the pleasure of experiencing Susan's wonderful home and yard, this is a sit not to be missed! Susan is communicative and clear, providing all the information I needed to feel confident in taking care of Boots and her home. Susan's home is beautiful and clean, and she is very welcoming. The proximity to downtown Napa make it a holiday in itself. I would do this sit again in an instant and highly recommend it!
We enjoyed our sit at Julia's lovely home in a beautiful and safe neighborhood. Communication was always very good, and instructions for the house and dogs were very clear. Millie and Scarlett are rowdy pups who love to play! They wrestle with each other and are always up for a game of fetch, tug-o-war, or a walk. They are very easy to care for. They are super friendly pups, giving lots of kisses and snuggles; they have a forever place in our hearts. 💜
