We are so lucky to have found Joy for last-minute pet care! Joy looked after our three dogs, two chickens, and dozens of plants while we traveled for a long weekend. She loves animals and has so much experience caring for them. She is very organized, tidy, and self-sufficient. Joy is a breeze to communicate and coordinate arrival and departure with. We came home to a clean home and happy pups! We are so grateful.
I had a lovely visit with easy-going Leni. After the second night she decided I was a good snuggler. We took long walks in each morning and played hard in the evenings since rain did not let us walk. Stephanie's house is comfortable and clean. Great little main street with coffee shops, thrift stores and restaurants. Close to the bus line.
We had a great time sitting for Laura's furry family members. I was surprised to see dogs, cats, and chickens get along so well in the house. Zara, Frankie, and Brutus are sweet and well-behaved pups. We appreciated that Laura shared clear instructions and made everything easy and comfortable.
Deborah was such an amazing and sweet woman to house sit for! Spot, Diesel and Tess love attention, walks, and especially food! So it’s not hard to win their love and become best pals. Location of the home was perfect as it was a quite neighborhood with many parks to walk to and not far from city center by bus.
Bill received me and my family (three kids) very well. We taked care Nyxs and Hera, two wonderfull dogs. They are so friendly and nice with person and animals. So carefull with children. And so easy to care. We Walked two times a day because they enjoy. They love the beach to. And the beaches from Lourinha are so beautifull. Bill is a simple and friendly person. We have feel confortable with home. His House is Big, modern and confortable. Bill organized two rooms for us but we only used one, is a Big room perfect for all the family. The place is a quite and calm, perfect for us. By the surrounders there are many things to do and visit. We have passed a good time un Lourinha!! We are happy and gratefull!
I had such a great time sitting for Jessica! She was great at answering any and all questions I had about her home and the area. She was even kind enough to offer for me to stay in her guest bedroom between pet sits. So generous! Her cats are lovely and so sweet and affectionate! Inka is a sweet natured dog who loves playing ball in the garden. Mercury is a playful, albeit sometimes wilful cat/kitten, who eats an astonishing amount. At the time of staying the two need to be kept apart which was unfortunate and presented a small, but not insurmountable, challenge at times. The house is slightly off the beaten track making it secluded and thus very private and peaceful. The view northwards down a gulley towards Manchester in the distance is particularly impressive. Accomodation is an AirBnB separate from the main house. The bed is the highlight here courtesy of sumptious bedding from the family business. The kitchen was lacking a few items i.e. toaster, a few more pots and pans, tea towels etc but these can borrowed from the main house as needed.
