Bella and Oscar are lovely little dogs. They have beautiful personalities and are very eager to please. Oscar wasn't able to walk far (he was recovering from surgery), but Bella and I enjoyed walks in the nearby bushland and along the estuary nearly every day. It's such a nice location and the wallabies and parrots are every day visitors, which was a real treat. Jill was very clear with her instructions for caring for the dogs, in particular Oscar's rehabilitation exercises and it was a pleasure to see his mobility improve throughout the course of my stay. I did have a trip to the vet for Oscar and it went incredibly smoothly and he was on soon on the mend. All in all it was an enjoyable sit
We had the pleasure of spending a week at Brian and Nellie’s caring for a diverse group of animals. We were warmly welcomed into the home by every member of the family and given a great orientation. It’s a cozy and comfortable house in a great neighborhood close to downtown Southport. The dogs are affectionate and fun to spend time with. We were sad to say goodbye to them.
Isabell war ein super host. Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Mit Sherlock hatten wir eine tolle zeit, er ist sehr anhänglich und verkuschelt und hat sich jeden Abend zu uns auf die Couch gelegt. :)
This was such a delightful house sit! Gerry and Nicola are seasoned hosts so they're super considerate and welcoming with guides, directions and suggested walks all ready for you. We fell in love with Inka and Amber. Inka will have you wrapped round her finger as soon as you're introduced to her paw. If you're stroking her and stop, she places a gentle paw on your arm letting you know that she would like you to continue and you can't help but melt at the sweetness of her request. And Amber's belly flops will also have you showering her with love and cuddles. We also loved discovering the local gems such as the picturesque village of Castle Combe, the stunning Weston Arboretum and the other National Trusts around. In conclusion, one of the best housesits there is and we would gladly return any time!
We loved looking after Pippin, Moki and Olive! All really easy to care for and super friendly. Pippin loved being out and about, and was a great character. Would definitely sit for these guys again! House was gorgeous and clean.
Oscar the sweet little cat and I had great fun! He is the most playful cat filled with energy. And did I mention that he’s adorable? Lara’s flat is in the most perfect location in Copenhagen with tons of restaurants, bars, and cafes just right downstairs, and walking or biking distance to just about all the great sites in Copenhagen. Local transportation is also minutes away. And of course Lara’s home lovely and she has been the most gracious. Thank you for having me Lara!

Sammy has just had his first holiday at Maddie's and I can't thank Shelley and her crew enough for making him feel at home from home. He has previously stayed in kennels but he is 8 now and we felt he deserved some comfort while we went on holiday. The pre-stay visits were great for making sure Shelley and the other dogs got to know Sammy, and that he would be comfortable there. And by the time we dropped him off for his holiday, he was chomping at the bit to see his friends again. I didn't once worry that Sammy wasn't ok whilst we were away, as we received daily "pupdates" showing us how he was getting on and what he was up to. We could see from the photos and videos that he was happy and felt safe. The care and attention he received was as good if not better than at home. Before his stay Sammy hadn't really socialised with other dogs and we weren't sure how he would be, but he soon got stuck in at playtime and was leading the walks. I would highly recommend Maddie's and will definitely be booking Sammy in next time we go away.
Before I contacted Maddies home from home I did a lot of research as I had been rushed into hospital in January and had to leave my poor dog at boarding without even seeing it, I was worried the whole time in hospital about my dear little girl and couldn’t wait to collect her and I was determined to find a home from home boarding. I researched several but Maddies came out on top so I contacted Shelley and we meet up for a sniff test with my little girl and the rest of her dogs. Wow how thorough and professional her whole business is. I was very impressed and we arranged a sleepover, I was very anxious to be leaving my girl again but Shelley sent me regular pup dates which put my mind at ease. I was once again taken into hospital so I contacted Shelley to see if she could look after my little girl at short notice and she was there for me again. My stay in hospital was so much better knowing she was being cared for and regular pup dates made my stay in hospital bearable. My little girl loved her stay at Maddies and always had lots to occupy her and lots of walks. I can’t recommend and thank Shelley enough for looking after my little girl it really is home from home.
This was Elsy’s first 2 week stay at Maddie’s and she was so looked after ! Lots of daily updates with videos and photographs. The walks all looked amazing. Shelley was very professional, caring and so loving to Elsy. Really really pleased I found such a brilliant home boarding stay for Elsy to go. Have booked many more stays for her in the coming months. Thank you for all your help and amazing attention to detail.
Teddy is cared for 100%+ whilst I go away on holiday. It's a real home from home boarding. It's peace of mind knowing he is in safe hands. Shelley makes the separation easier for me and Teddy settles. Lots of attention given to the dogs in her care. Walkies, hugs, playtime and groomed. I enjoy the photos and videos sent daily. I collected Teddy after 12 days. He's fit, healthy and no kennel cough. So pleased I was recommended Maddies home boarding & day care. I have never been disappointed. Thank you Maddie & Shelley.
Ninja has been expertly looked after by Shelley for the past three years with a mix of boarding and day care. I now have two dogs that both go regularly and they don't even look back to me when they see Shelley. It really is a home from home with personalised and loving care. Highly recommend!
Shelley and Maddie’s house is doggie heaven. Robbie felt right at home and he was clearly happy to be there. As a nervous Doggy-Mum, Shelley really put me at ease and I felt comfortable leaving him with her. Highly recommended.
Working full time we were a bit stuck when my Mum had an accident and we had to look after her dog, Chester, for a few month's. We couldn't have chosen better with Maddie's. It is certainly a home from home, but even more than that - the dogs get great enrichment, exercise and socialisation everyday. I would not hesitate to recommend Maddie's to anyone looking for doggy care or boarding for their beloved furmily member.

We've been using Kim's pet sitting service for around a year now. She came highly recommended, and her support has been amazing. She regularly sends pics of our cats while we're away, and the cats are always in good form when we return - they seem to have enjoyed the break from us! She takes great care of our cats and they really like her despite being very shy around most people! Kim was absolutely amazing, when we took our guinea pigs to her she had their set up ready and we chatted for a while about all her other current and past pets. Kayleigh is amazing ! She stayed at our home and looked after our elderly dog and cat . She sent regular updates and when our dog needed vet treatment she was amazing . Kayleigh at Jasper Tails looked after our 3 year old miniature dachshund , Ozzy, for 10 days when we went on holiday in January. Ozzy had such a great time and fit in with the other dogs so well. Kayleigh is fantastic with my dog, he gone from not wanting to walk with anyone but me to waiting at the door for Kayleigh to arrive and he can't get out the door quick enough for his walks. She has worked so hard getting him to this point. If I could give her 10/10 I would! She's very professional and nothing is to much for her!

Fantastic place with lovely staff, who really get to know and care about the dogs. My dog goes two days a week and gets so excited when we tell her she’s going to “Doggy Day Care”, and it’s great for me knowing she’s enjoying herself while I’m at work. I have also used their holiday boarding service, which was also excellent. Both me and the dog were really happy she was staying with people she knows really well and that know her really well.
Our dog Colin the rescue now comes weekly, he loves it and I cant thank Derrick and Sophie enough. They are understanding and accepting that every dog is different. As any dog parent you want to make sure you are sending them off to a caring place, I can honestly I say 5* doesn't do it justice. I am very happy I found this place. x
Putting Chip into daycare was the best thing we ever did!! He loves his two play sessions a week! As soon as we say his going his up and ready to get in the car, I would not trust anybody else other than the team at daycare with my boy!! They are so caring and loving with him !! We have had a few months of ill health in the family and they have had him in for extra sessions at a drop of a hat which has given us great pieces of mind his receiving the best of care! I would and have recommended anybody that a dog to book there dog in even if you do not need care to cover working just as a play session for your dog!! Thank you for looking after our boy x

Sophie is amazing with my Wish Springer Spaniel. My fur baby doesn't like being apart from me but she goes in with her ears up and tail wagging - and not just the first time! She is welcomed like one of the family and while we are away we get regular pup-dates on how she is. I would recommend without hesitation, we drive from Northampton because we are so happy with her service.
