Liz was amazing! 🤩 She was an incredible house guest and kitty sitter for our two boys, Ozzy & Gizmo. The boys clearly loved her, they were both so relaxed and content which was a big comfort. She checked in every few days with updates. Liz left the house super clean and tidy which was so nice to come home to after a long flight Liz is super friendly, warm and all round beautiful vibes. We would have no hesitation asking Liz to stay again and would definitely recommend 😃⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Beth and her son took great care of our pack. That much was clear as when we returned home they ran right past us out the door as if they hadn’t noticed we were gone! All of the animals were well cared for as was our house. I was sorry not to have met them as we had to leave before their arrival, but due to their excellent communication and care everything was fantastic. We are so appreciative that they chose to sit for us and hope they want to return to Vashon in the future.
I applied for this sit to look after Sandy. The communication with Jana was very smooth and positive from the start. Unfortunately she had to cancel the session for family reasons, but I would like to leave a 5-star review for the uncomplicated and warm handling. The relaxed and friendly hosts Toby and Susie gave us a warm and convivial welcome. Their 2 dogs Monty and Bean are full of character, fun and charm and very obedient and easy to manage. We enjoyed two walks a day in the beautiful surrounding countryside. The two laid back cats were good company also and we enjoyed looking after the poultry and the peacock and peahen. The garden of the house is an oasis of colour and birdsong and the swimming pool will be lovely when the weather warms up a bit. Cooking on the aga was a treat and meeting Jo, the gardener and Bob, the maintenance guy was a pleasure. Overall a five star all round experience! Hopefully we will be asked back, for a longer stay, next time!
This was an extremely wonderful sit in their beautiful home with Kato. I was shown around, given detailed information both Kato's care & personality as well as about their home and how everything functioned. Even introduced to a neighbour and provided emergency contact info. We had a good visit the day before departing on their trip and they made sure I was comfortable with everything and gave me recommendations for sightseeing, shopping and restaurants. Kato was an easy to care for and delightful companion who enjoyed curling up with me and watching me knit. I'd be very happy to return and highly recommend this sit to anyone interested in visiting 'The Land of Enchantment'.
I had a great time at this place. Gillian and her partner are kind and openhearted people. They showed me around, gave me all the explanations I needed and left trustfully. The dogs are super lovely, faithfully and easy to handle. Scooter and Poppy are super cuddly and follow you everywhere :) They love to have company, sharing their love and loyalty. They are listening and easy to look after. Pusspuss is easy going too. Most of the time outside and used to the dogs. They play with each other =) The beautiful old house is a nice place to be. Equipped with everything what you need for your stay. The guest room is lovely and cosy. Brossac is a nice and quite place to stay. You can do walks in all directions, passing fields, visit lakes, walk through a forest etc. A supermarket, butcher and post office are 3 minutes away. Saturday morning you can enjoy a small market with local products. I had a nice time with these lovely animals and would do it anytime again.
Scout was a lovely companion for the time I Iooked after him in Freeda's lovely home in Cambridge. He's a wonderfully affectionate and friendly dog. Communication with Freeda was very clear and the instructions left were very straightforward. The nearby park and river for walking were wonderful. Cambridge is entirely beautiful. Highly recommended.
I had a great time taking care of Yumi for a couple of days. He is such a sweet and playful cat! Communication with Elodie was easy and she was very responsive. The Welcome guide was detailed and had all of the information needed for a successful sit. The home was clean and in a great location with restaurants nearby.

I am so thankful to Vickie at BOW -WOW PET SITTING!!! I am the kind of dog mom that puts my 2 boys Doug and Rusty (dachshunds) above myself. I set my house up so that THEY are happy and comfortable. I have a low bed,, doggie ramps everywhere and there are dog toys all over. I would say that they are a little spoiled ❤️🐾🐾❤️ I only trust a few people with my dogs. I recently moved to Fair Oaks. I searched online for pet sitting and called Vicky, the owner of Bow-Wow pet sitting and boarding. I asked many questions. I then looked at her reviews on Yelp and decided that I would give her a call back. She was able to take my dogs the next day. She was so great! My dogs were barking and have separation anxiety. I immediately felt comfortable with Vicky. She is very kind and obviously loves animals. Her house is set up perfectly - she can separate dogs if necessary but still see them, they are not locked away in a closed room. She had a big wonderful yard to play in. When I picked up my boys they were happy and not stressed. Now they WANT to go there! Even though I'm done moving I intend to to take them to Vicky's at least once a week because they love her and I don't take them in the car and leave them when running errands. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND VICKIE AND BOW -WOW PET SITTING!!! She is reasonably priced and very accommodating. ******************!!!!💕
I am appalled at the neglect and inhumane treatment of my dog. We left my dog Roxxy there for the weekend over 4th of July. We made sure they were aware she was a rescue dog with anxiety, and we were guaranteed that our dog would not be left alone during the fireworks. After we got our dog home, that night we realized her mouth was severally injured. Apparently, she had been left outside in a metal crate during fireworks while the owners of Bow Pow Pet sitting went to the liquor store, and tried to chew her way out causing the damage to her mouth. Multiple teeth had been broken off, her gums were destroyed and she had literally chewed so long and hard the bone of her jaw was damaged. We were never notified that our dog had been injured under their care, we had to wait to find out when we got her back, and with the extent of the injury being as bad as it was I have a hard time believing there were no signs of blood or injury when it happened. The surgery to fix my dog's mouth was over $3,500, which Bow Wow Pet sitting never even tried to repay. I felt the owners of Bow Wow pet sitting were unprofessional and down right negligent to have let this happen. To top it all off, after multiple complaints from us they still have pictures of my dog on their website, against my approval, to advertise their business. Usually I am not one to write angry online reviews but I feel strongly that they were negligent towards my dog.
My dogs were well taken care of in a family style environment. Both had individual needs and their needs were well taken care of. Was so pleased with the great care both dogs received! Recommend!

Geri took care of our hamster "Cuddles" while we were gone for 3 weeks. She went above and beyond to make sure not only he was taken care of, but our house was well looked after as well. She even offered to water plants which was so helpful since we were gone for so long. I would highly recommend Geri for your pet care needs. My dog, Ace, and I love Geri at PrAWper Pet Care!! She is exactly who you’d want to watch your pet- for a short or long visit- we’ve done both. Besides being a very nice person she is very serious at what she does. Her house is totally set up to watch or keep your pet for any length of time. She cleans inside and outside of her home before and after every pet comes and goes. She is amazing. No one outside of our family has ever taken care of any of our pets. My husband and adult children haven’t taken a vacation together in 15 years. I just happened to see a post on NextDoor and I immediately messaged her, we met a few days later, and I even moved the dates of our 4 day trip so she would be free to watch our little pup. She also watched Ace for a day so we could go to our family reunion and not worry about our small, 12 year old pup being home alone. Truthfully, we wouldn’t have all been able to go without Geri watching Ace. Being new to this area I am so grateful to have found someone who is caring and serious about taking good care of Ace. Geri is the best. She is thoughtful and genuinely cares about my pet. This time Irene stayed at my house, my dogs did not miss me a bit. When I came home they were happy and I’m pretty sure they miss Geri and Irene more than me. Lol

PrAwper Pet Care was amazing with my two big goldendoodles. This is the first time I leave them for daycare. A dog walker you can trust! Jenna is kind and very easy to communicate with. She takes my strong 80lb pitty twice a week for 30 minute walks. I absolutely trust my dog is safe with Jenna. Not only is my dog tuckered out after each walk but she VERY happy. The minute Jenna pulls up my dog gets crazy excited! I have two chorkies that love to see Jenna too. All three bonded with her right away. I am so grateful we found Jenna!

We are delighted to have found Jenna of Woof Professional Dog Walkers to board our dogs while on vacation. Donner and Shasta received daily walks, lots of attention, and apparently special treats since they weren’t very interested in the regular ones we provide once they got home. Jenna’s daily reports plus photos offered us immense relief in knowing our pets were in comfortable home-style surroundings and very caring hands.

Unfortunately, our experience with Joshua and his pet sitting business was not positive. We had a meet and greet several weeks before our vacation. That went very well, he asked great questions and took down many notes. The pets all liked him, and it is apparent that he loves animals. At the meet and greet we confirmed he was available for our dates to come twice a day and we gave him a key. I reached out via text a few days before our trip to confirm which he promptly replied to stating he had us on the books. As we arrived at our destination, we received a text from Joshua stating he had arrived at our home but that we forgot to give him a key, does a neighbor have one that he could use. I reminded him that we gave him a key at the meet and greet and what keychain it was on. He stated that he had looked everywhere and would look again. Very long and stressful story short, while Joshua was very willing to provide the agreed upon services if I supplied a 2nd key we were not comfortable with this solution. We already had 1 key lost and will have to have our locks changed, we were not willing to trust he would not lose a second key or have some other issue.
Josh is a wonderful pet care giver! He loves them all. Of course Cats are his favorite but he likes them all and he's affordable!

This kennal is located in a private residence. The dogs stay in the persons home, garage and yard. Our dogs seemed to have liked it.

Took our Golden to the splash pad night. They had the nicest facility!! So much room for the dogs to run around in, very clean and no broken toys/furniture. My golden had so much fun and I will definitely be signing her up for a day care session.
Great place to take your dog for day care or swim fun. I've taken my bullmastiff to day care and open swim. She lived both and came home tired and happy. Bit expensive buy you're paying for good care of your dog. I really appreciate that they screen your pet and have separation of different temperaments. Open swim in wknds is great and pretty cheap at $10 per dog. I highly recommend and will be back often. They have boarding service too, but I've never used it.
We rented the pool with some dog park friends and had a blast. The staff are very friendly and the pool was ready to have our pack of dogs rage. Some seating provided, bring a towel for yourself and wear clothes you don't mind getting soaked because the dogs will shake all over you!

I took my dog, Huffy, to the Animal Den for their open swim. She had a blast! All the doggies loved the pool and I got to enjoy some wine while she played. It was a win all around! My only gripe is the admission fee is $10. The fee is reasonable but it does keep us from going as frequently as we would like!
My dog has been going here for daycare 4 days a week for the last year and is so happy and excited whenever we arrive. Previous places we went for daycare I could see him on camera just sitting by the gate wanting to leave, and he was never eager to walk through the door. I think the staff here have gotten to know him and what makes him happy to be there so he feels much more comfortable. They also do cute holiday activities and dogs of the week which are adorable extra touches. Overall it’s been a great experience!
Such nice and caring individuals! They can accommodate almost anything! Very patient and compassionate for not only the fur babies but the fur parents as well! As for my Meeko he is having the time of his life for his first time. He is literally smiling. Great decision to board him here. I would high recommend this place!
They have been taking care of my loved ones for nearly 40 years. I've never boarded my dogs anywhere else and hope I never have to. They give great care and love and my dogs have fun there. And I have peace of mind.
We adopted a sweet dog, Teddy, from a rescue. Teddy was very reactive on the lead. I knew that I needed a professional to help this sweet little dog become a well mannered companion. Cameron, one of the dog training professionals at Busters, helped Teddy (and me). We received excellent training and guidance. Now Teddy is very good on the lead when we go for walks. I will continue to have Cameron assist me in training Teddy. I recommend him. I hope to eventually have Teddy visit nursing homes as a therapy dog. We also use the day care and boarding facility at Busters. The staff are professional and kind. I highly recommend Busters.
I took my dog, Winston, in for a 6 week training course to get some extra help with leash / reactivity training and Cameron has helped transform Winston into a dog with much better manners! He taught me a lot about my relationship with my dog that will help us moving forward. I've also taken Winston here for grooming before and they always do such a great job making Winston look handsome!
Super happy with Buster's Pet Resort- all the staff is super friendly, and happy to see me, and always so thrilled to see Tucker. It speaks volumes to me when they greet him personally and say their good byes so sincerely when we leave. As a "former" rescue dog, he trusts few people, but since coming here, he has become so much more confident and socialized! Thank you for being you all Buster's team! As you can see- Tucker is tuckered out when he comes home!
I am a new pet parent and was scared to drop my little buddy off to anyone. My husband and I came across Buster’s and I am SO glad we did! Our little Nacho got go be outside and play with all the other dogs, he even got to try out the doggy pool! We've had a great experience with Buster's. The staff is so friendly and provide such amazing care. In addition to boarding and grooming, we have used their Dog Training services and couldn't be happier. Colin is amazing to work with and has transformed our 3 year old Lab, Zoey, into a responsive and obedient companion. One training session with him and you'll be amazed at how knowledgeable and effective he is. We look forward to coming here for years to come.
I'm very impressed with Buster's Pet Resort. All the staff have been very nice and friendly. I cant begin to express how much my dog (Tucker) loves going here! At first Tucker was a little hesitant but now when he is being dropped off he runs for the entrance with his tail wagging. Someone is always at the door to greet us. And in the afternoon when Tucker gets picked up he is always exhausted from all the fun he has had all day playing with the other pups! I would highly recommend Colin and the staff at Buster's Pet resort!
Buster's helped me save a life. We adopted Suki from the SPCA, and boy was she a handful. We weren't sure if she would be the right fit for us. But after the daily daycare program and a 3 week board and train, she is such a good dog! Buster's fixed her food and toy aggression with our other dogs and made her not want to chase cars. They showed us how smart she is and taught her great listening skills and a ton of new tricks, and they trained us too! Suki gets depressed on Sundays when daycare is closed! Thank you for helping us appreciate what a great dog she is!
I absolutely LOVE Buster's Pet Resort and Daycare. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. I just started personal training at Buster's last week, and I'm convinced these trainers are wizards after the magic they preformed....I have a 14 month old Blue Heeler/GS mix (Willow) and 8 month German Shepard (Luna). My 14 month is a TANK and very leash reactive (Pulling, barking and getting exciting with other dogs). Walking both dogs was Extremely difficult, so I had to start taking them separately. After, only ONE personal training session, I was able to walk both dogs together, with little to no reaction when we approached other dogs, even barking dogs. They are walking so well together and people have actually commented on how well behaved they are. I'm so excited to continue our training at Buster's.
Great reliable staff, fortunate to find this place. My dog is taking training lessons, has spent four nights boarding and playing there, and is doing much better, behavior wise. We also feel welcomed, and I also, am learning new things(as a dog owner), as well. I give 5 stars.
It could be better because I know especially speaking with different employees. Unless it was just a show to get your money the first time and saying they're able to provide services. After explaining my concerns and what is it that I am looking for in a safe space and possibly updates with retraining for my puppers it seems what I shared wasn't read or discussed with other employees on how my dog could be after being attacked 3 times by unleashed dogs. Even met the owner on the day of evaluation he seemed pleasant. I discussed that I am working on having him retrained in some areas so he wouldn't have anxiety being around other dogs. Anyway, the price kept on increasing with what one employee, an older gentleman mentioned services would be then when stopping by on another day due to having to reschedule because of other appointments and scheduling that were priority asking questions regarding specific services increased even more with the female employee. Even when a courtesy call was provided as to why we had to reschedule previously with an employee being aware of it. Also, it was told to me by the female employee to have him be in day camp he had to be reevaluated which was an additional cost then to keep him in individual play it was extra on top of day camp fees. The female kept on increasing the prices compared to what was discussed upon my initial conversation with the male employee when I looked in on daycamp, training for dogs. I'm disappointed with getting different prices on services even looking at the prices on the brochure the female employee increased the service rates. I would like to know if I happen to be the only customer who has gone through this with increase in services rates with that particular employee because I really haven't read any of the reviews as of yet, and probably will not. Just Do Better!
I can’t say enough good things about Brad and Muddy Paws Adventures. My young Dog was very shy and attached to me but with LOTS of energy. Regular walks just weren’t enough sometimes. That’s when I discovered Muddy Paws Adventures. It was not just typical dog walking and provided much needed stimulation for my dog. Brad had patience with my dog as it took him a few visits to get over his shyness. Now I just mention the word Muddy Paws and he gets excited. It has really improved his confidence around other people and dogs.
Our pup LOVES Muddy Paws! We contacted Brad after seeing all of his amazing adventures on Instagram and just knew it would be the perfect outlet for our pup. We have a 7 month old golden retriever and loved the idea of him being able to socialize with other dogs and get his energy out while we were at work. Brad was really quick to respond and set us up for a consultation within the week. He met with our dog, Ryder to evaluate his social skills and shortly after we were approved to join the Muddy Paws Crew. Each trip is customized to the specific dogs interests. Ryder is a huge water dog so for his first adventure, they went to the lake for some fetch, swimming, and of course, a puppachino to end the day. Once back at home, Ryder slept pretty much the rest of the day! Brad was really kind to send photos of Ryder’s adventure so I could see all of the fun they had. We have done another adventure since then and can’t wait for the many more to come!
What an amazing experience my Chloe has had with Brad, Odin , and Muddy Paws. She looks so forward to her adventures and is totally waiting at the door for her pack!
This is a much needed dog service in this area. My dogs love these guys and I know they have a great time with the Brad guy. I hope this can become a long term adventure.

My pups, Alfonso and Oillie love staying at the Best Friends Pet Hotel! They are so quiet on the way home. Exhausted from fun! They love the staff. Constantly running around them even as we are trying to leave! Haha They are so happy. I have them groomed after each stay, they smell wonderful!! Pictures from different pickups!! Another stay! Groomed before pick up! Handsome and happy🐶🐶 Love the bow tie on Ollie 🤭
My big boy Bengal, Dezi had a great time here. The facility was very nice and clean too. He got his own two room suite! The staff made him feel safe and loved and he wasn’t stressed when I picked him up. This was his first time away from home and I wasn’t sure how it would go. He will be coming back to visit again.
I have used Best Friends since 2002. All of my dogs have done great and I had a dog with some “issues” and she was handled well. There were never any problems after their visit at the “spa” as we referred to it. My two small dogs just returned from their spa visit and Max was on medication and he did great and our Gracie was happy too. Highly recommend!! 🐾🐾

We brought our Golden, Lola, here for the first time for a full grooming experience. She is terrified of loud noises--the girl who met us at check-in was extremely gentle with our dog, calming, and got her to settle down. We knew immediately that Lola was in good hands. They brought Lola out looking better than she ever has at any other grooming appointment--complete with a fresh bandana and bow. We loved our experience here!
First time with Best Friends over the Christmas holiday. She was pretty excited to go with the staff and seemed great when we picked up. We had a long delay on our return train ride and the staff was very understanding. I felt very comfortable with her accommodations and would definitely use them again next time we travel.
Best Friends pet boarding, daycare in Carmichael. The staff here is awesom! My Pebbles and BamBam really enjoy their overnight stays! They get lots of attention, treats and best of all have piece of mind knowing the loving care they are getting! Highly recommend boarding and Doggy day camp!
They took such great care of my big boy Benjamin! I’ve heard so many great things about this place and I’m so glad I finally gave them a try. I will be back for more overnight stays and daycare!
The groomer charges extra for everything outside of the bathing. 10.00 extra if you want your dog combed after shampooing, 25.00 for clipping nails and if you want any fur trimmed it's 10.00 per area. What normally costs me 65.00 from my regular groomer was up to 125.00 by the time I became disgusted and walked out. I was fortunate enough to let the older couple know why I was leaving and they Thanked me and left with their 2 dogs as well. This groomer definitely needs to get updated in this profession before continuing to advertise as a groomer.
We are so grateful to have found the team at Barkers's. Their scheduling and payment system is easy to use. They did a home visit to learn about our alarm, where pet supplies are stored, etc, so they could provide the best care. Most importantly they put such care into looking after the pets. I get a text after each visit with a little update. We love our fur baby and I trust Barkers Pet Care enough to have recommended them to a number of my friends.
I have known Kathy for years and she has a passion for animals. I recommend her often.
