Joe & Gillian
Joe and Gillian are the most friendly and warm hosts. They opened their home to us like we were family.
We loved walking and playing with Ella who was smart and well behaved, also affectionate and playful.

Alison
I had a wonderful time on my stay in Skegness with Alison and Ian’s two terrific JRT dogs. Prior to the visit, Alison kept in good communication with me regarding her plans, my transportation arrangements, etc. We had a short crossover time, as I arrived a couple of hours before they were scheduled to depart, but Ian and Alison covered everything I needed to know to keep things running smoothly in their absence. They were both so warm and welcoming and meeting them was a pleasure.

It did not take the dogs, Maggie and Max, long to settle in with me as their temporary guardian. They are both so friendly, cuddly, and amusing. Both are lap dogs and were good at making their needs and desires known. Max was the bigger snuggler while Maggie was so amusing, particularly with her response to animals she observed on the television, growling at every one she saw. Don’t let them fool you about their treats. They do not get one each and every time you pass through the kitchen, though they tried to convince me otherwise. Each of them walked very well both on and off lead, though occasionally they would dig in their heels heading in opposite directions, so I had to choose, taking turns appeasing each one. And they do need to be watched while walking along the road, as if there is a distraction across the road, they do not look both ways for cars before they try to cross. Off lead, such as along the beach, they stayed nearby, checked to make sure I was following them, and came when called. All in all, they are delightful companions.

The lovely guest house was very nice and the bed was super comfortable. I had a large ensuite room with a sea view but also had access to the basement apartment. Skegness was a fun destination, with many activities, including the terrific Skegness Aquarium and the Natureland Seal Sanctuary. Nearby, there are several nature preserves and the lovely towns of Lincoln and Louth are close enough for a day out. Skegness has many walking trails and even under gray skies, there is beauty to the large expanses of sandy beaches, where sometimes the only footprints I saw were those left there by the dogs and me. I thoroughly enjoyed this housesit and would recommend it highly.

Amanda
Amanda and Alex have a lovely home and dog. They made us feel very welcome, even making space in fridge, freezer, cupboards and closet! Moose is a big lovable boy and was very good on lead. Very rarely he would show interest in other male dogs but we had no issue making way for others on the wide neighborhood streets. If you love gorgeous views, fab beaches and a great dog, this is the sit for you! We made many friends with the friendly dog owners in the area. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Marita
We had a great stay at Marita's home in Streatham. The flat is lovely and spacious and in a great location in South London. Marita was a pleasure to communicate with throughout, making everything very easy. We were both working remotely and it worked well for us with enough desk/ table space to do so. Bruno is a gorgeous, affectionate cat who we quickly fell in love with and it was hard to say goodbye! Thank you Marita for a perfect sit 😻

Ramona and Josh have an insanely cute house in an insanely cute village with two insanely cute doggos! I loved chilling out with the dogs and exploring the town, they were great tour guides! Couldn't recommend this sit more highly and both pet parents are friendly and give great advice and all the information I needed to be very knowledgeable about Lumin and Rana
