We have been fortunate to enjoy over 13 years of the zeewoi organization and have learned much over the years, but this sit with Donalda has been challenging for us to rate. - We had to repeat ourselves in phone calls, videos, texts, and the information chart she requested, with much of the information seeming forgotten or overlooked. - One of our pets either wasn't walked enough or was overfed, resulting in significant weight gain over two weeks. The entire month-long pill supply for her joint pain, scoot pills, and Benadryl was gone in 12 days, despite clear instructions. - We found the bathroom floor soaked in urine. It seems the animals may have been left for extended periods. Using the dry Dyson vacuum to clean up urine was also concerning. - Many things were moved and not returned to their original places. Even well-intended changes can be unsettling for homeowners. - The animals, especially the cats, need access to the entire condo. This should have been specified clearly if it was an issue. - A laundry bin on the balcony, which must remain clear per HOA rules, was full of urine-soaked towels, posing a risk of fines. - A scented candle was left burning unattended in the bathroom for at least eight hours, which is a significant hazard. Communication was great while we were away, and the animals seemed fine from our correspondence. However, they were not cared for according to the detailed specifications left. We hope this feedback helps Donalda improve future sits.
We had a last minute sitter cancellation the day before our international flight, and Tamara graciously accepted our urgent request for a housesitter. I cannot thank her enough for her flexibility and willingness to sit despite the short turnaround. She took great care of our dog Roy throughout the sit, and it was clear she was very experienced with dog sitting when she first met Roy. She even coordinated additional pet food for him as he had run out towards the end of her stay. She was communicative, self-sufficient, and kept the home very tidy upon our return. We highly recommend her for any future housesitting needs, and would love to have her back anytime!
