I had a lovely time cat-sitting for Franciska in Clapham. Her flat was an oasis of calm with a very relaxing view of the garden from the sitting room. The bed was wonderfully comfy and the kitchen-diner perfect for pottering about in. Best of all, of course, were Coco and Mila, her two adorable kittens who made wonderful companions. Getting into town from Clapham is a doddle and there are plenty of shops nearby. Thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Sitting for Alex and Dillon was great. They gave clear instructions and were easy to get in contact with. The animals are pretty low maintenance and chilled most of the time. Mango especially has a lot of personality and is sure to consistently brighten your mood. Their house has a really nice back porch/patio to relax. The kitchen is well-stocked with cookware. Its in a quiet neighborhood with some close trails and parks to walk around and explore with the pups. There’s a cool walkable area close by with restaurants. Day trips to DC were easy with the metro being 5 minutes away by car.
Helen and Geoff welcomed us with delightful hospitality and we immediately felt at ease in their lovely comfortable home. We absolutely loved Ivy, a very smart and adorable Lab with beautiful manners. We enjoyed our seaside walks together with Ivy and she sat at our feet watching the people go by when we stopped for breakfast at a cafe by the sea within easy walk. A memorable house sit which we very highly recommend.
I had a great time caring for Sadie. The house is big and comfortable, and Alameda feels like a peaceful small town, even though it's just across the way from the chaos of Oakland. It was great to be so close to the Bay. Sadie was sweet, lovable, and easy to care for, and Teresa and Tom were very welcoming hosts. Highly recommended.
This was an amazing home and pet sit! Hannah was very organized and quick to communicate, I appreciated her willingness to meet with me in advance and even a chance to walk the community with Bauer. Hannah's home is lovely for sure and Mill Valley is truly a magical community. That said, the very best of the best in regards to this sit was Bauer. I absolutely adore this pup! I enjoyed his playfulness, his intellect, his curiosity, and his sweet nature that had him always by my side. There are lots of pups in this world and I tend to love them all, but Bauer is truly a unique and special sweetheart. Grab this sit if you have the opportunity, you will love spending time with Bauer just as I did.
Linda and Arte made us so welcome in their lovely comfortable home. We really enjoyed our stay. The chickens are super-easy to look after, giving plenty of free time to explore the local attractions and restaurants, for which Linda and Arte gave us lots of helpful information. The chickens all have different personalities and we had fun getting to know their quirks (as well as eating the eggs). Really recommend this housesit and would like to thank Linda and Arte for their hospitality
