I had a wonderful time taking care of Jenny's crew. Shasta was great to go out on daily adventures and hikes and will always let you know if you missed treat time. Nala loved spending her day lounging in a sunny spot and i miss the little pitter patter of her feet when she heard the food dish. Holly Miss Molly if full of fun loving kitten mischief and kept us throughly entertained - starting with some lovely "gifts" upon our arrival to chasing Shasta around the house. Such wonderful pets and hosts!
We had a fun stay at Kathryn's house! It was comfortable and airy, and close to groceries, beach, etc. You probably will want to have a car though. Kathryn was very friendly and left detailed information for us, so we felt confident about our responsibilities. She was also easy to reach via text, though we tried not to bother her on her vacation! The dogs, Humphrey and Parker, were also great fun. Parker is absolutely hilarious - he has no idea how big and strong he is, and he just wants to play all day. Humphrey is amazing - he's the perfect dog. Tail wagging all day, super gentle, and well-behaved. Taking care of the dogs and house was straightforward and easy, though you should probably enjoy physical activity, as we do. Humphrey can play fetch tirelessly, and Parker enjoys marathon walks in their beautiful neighbourhood.
Jan & Brian live in a beautiful mountain oasis with stunning views in every direction. The home was lovely and well-appointed with everything I needed to be comfortable and enjoy myself there. They welcomed me with a delicious homecooked meal and we enjoyed wonderful conversation about their and my travels and adventures. Both Jan and Brian are very hospitable and easy to talk to. But, of course, the star of the show is Pablo. Pablo is one cool dog! He might be getting up there in years, but he has the frisky, playful spirit of a puppy and he made me laugh every day! I recommend this sit to anyone, without reservation, and would love to come hang out with Pablcito again sometime.
I had a lovely last-minute sit for Andrew and Kate. There was a video-call with Andrew for questions before and I was welcomed by Kate at their house. The dogs were friendly and easy-going and I loved feeding the pigs! Their place is amazing and the surrounding area is wonderful for walks. I really enjoyed this weekend at the calm countryside! Full recommendation!
To Emma, Thank you for the amazing stay in Switzerland and Luna made it very homely for us the house was beautiful and very warm even thou it was cold outside which we soon got use to. Thanks Jill and Danny. I
Housesitting for Caroline was wonderful! From the moment I arrived, Caroline made me feel welcome and took the time to familiarise me with their lovely home. Before they left Caroline showed me around Emsworth and was much appreciated. Throughout my stay, Caroline maintained excellent communication, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Taking care of Edie was a pleasure; she's such a sweet hearted cat, and would always love cuddles and a chat. Emsworth itself is lovely, especially the scenic harbour walk. I highly recommend housesitting for Caroline!
