Eddi was fantastic with with our cat. Cleo is blind and Eddi made a real effort to talk to her and groom her and play with her several times a day so that Cleo got to know her, and they were quickly very good friends. When we got home, we could see that Cleo was very affectionate towards her. Communication with Eddi was easy, we had a long and useful phone call before she arrived and we got regular updates and photos while we were away. The house was left lovely and clean and tidy. We would certainly use Eddi again as a sitter, she was absolutely ideal for an elderly cat who needs understanding company and she gave her such special attention.
Ruth was all we could have hoped for in a house sitter! Serving as our first Zeewoi, Ruth was exceptional and responsible in regard to communication, reliability, pet care, and home care. We highly recommend Ruth to any person considering her for a house sit. Once we selected Ruth to watch over our 1-year old dachsund and stay in our apartment in the Portuguese Algarve, her response in promptly booking her travel plans, and working through the process of ensuring that all health and travel requirements were in good order, was perfect. There were no surprises or concerns in the weeks leading up to her visit, and there was good communication at every step. Upon arrival, it was clear that her easy going style was a perfect fit for our young dog. Ruth was attentive to every detail in our pet's routine, and asked the perfect questions about our dog, our apartment, and our neighborhood. Once we were away, we received regular updates and photos of the daily activities that she and our dog had experienced. Ruth was a great observer of our dogs habits and behaviors and was a quick study on identifying and fulfilling his daily needs. She seemed to create a very good bond with our pup in a fairly short period of time. Upon our return, our apartment was spotlessly clean and organized in exactly the same (if not better) condition as we had left it. Our dog was happy to see us, but was very calm and content. We know he had a great stay with Ruth in the comfort of his familiar surroundings and routines. We are sure we will stay in touch with Ruth in the future, and will share with her the growth and maturing of our pup in the years to come. It is people like Ruth that are helping us to make our dog an ideal family member. It was a complete Five-Star Experience for us!!
