First of all, it's really difficult for me to leave a less than 5-star review because not only do I want house sitters to enjoy caring for our pets and our home, but I also want a five-star house sitter. Danika took good care of our pets, and they were happy to see us when we returned which is the most important of all to me. She also left our home tidy with all the laundry done which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, communication and agreed to tasks were not carried out as well.
Laura is a very kind person and a good communicator. While the cats are sweet, unfortunately, Murfito had issues with urinating on our things the first few days of our stay. This was very stressful and took a lot of time, but we were grateful that Laura was easy to work with to remediate the situation. Advice for future sitters, you'll want to keep all your belongings in the closest so Murfito does not have access to them. Leanoard can open doors to the rooms, so you cannot just close the door to your room or the bathroom and think the cats do not have access. We loved Laura's place and the location. We used the Bay wheel rental bikes to get around which was so fun and convenient!
We completed a 3-month housesit for Sara and John over Christmas 2021. This was our longest ever sit and their longest time away from this quite wonderful Greek island: they were a little reluctant to leave and had to be encouraged off. Sara and John are a lovely couple; friendly, generous, great company and gave us a detailed brief on arrival along with a lovely dinner! They have a menagerie of animals, (dogs, cats, chickens and a pig on our visit) but they all get on well together and once a routine is worked out they’re a joy to look after. The different characters of the dogs is really appealing and the array of cats are affectionate, mischievous, loving and independent. We discovered a side to cats we had never really experienced and since the island is hopping with strays, Sara and John may have gained a few “wanderers” during our visit! The chickens provide eggs daily, even in winter, and the pig? (well, he was just a pig!). Sara and John’s house is modern, warm, comfortable and very well equipped. We settled immediately and felt really at home. The home is isolated, if you’re looking for a quick walk to the beach this is not the place for you. On the other hand, if you want a little rural peace and quiet, literally stunning views from all your windows and are open to a little hiking you will be well rewarded. This is a beautiful island, even in the winter, and the pay off for an adventurous spirit, a little hiking or driving is memorable. We encountered heavy snow during our sit and were cut off for a few days, and the weather was a little challenging at times, more so than we’d imagined. This is the way of things now though – we did skinny-dip on a deserted beach in the Aegean on New Year’s Day and shovelled the snow two weeks later. We relaxed on the beautiful patio areas, soaking up some sunshine and benefitted from the beautiful lemons, oranges and grapefruits that were in abundance in the garden. I could write a book here but let’s just say we loved this sit. We got to spend a little time with Sara and John on their return and we’ve really made some good friends. We kept them informed by WhatsApp throughout and we’re keeping in touch now. We hope to return for some time with them one future summer. I would advise those considering a sit for them to jump at the opportunity – though they might have to beat us to it.
Eric & Leti are sweet and welcoming to their home. AND most importantly, Chispo is one of the most sweetest cats ever. He has such a unique personality and is happy to connect and communicate. I loved being with his gentleness and experiencing many laughs with him. There is something very special about him. Eric & Leti were very helpful before my arrival, after my departure and what I appreciated the most was the communication with them while I was sitting. I didn't want to bother them while they were on their trip, and I did have a few questions pop up while they were away and they were present and engaged with me on answering them and responding. I really appreciated knowing that they were available if anything came up. My sit was during the end of winter and the town was quite. I loved having such close access to the Ocean/beach and the sound of the birds. I speak minimal Spanish and had to take advantage of learning more while I was there as the majority of locals spoke little or no English. I would sit again, but for me, I'd bring a friend and know more Spanish for engaging with people in the town which is something I'd prefer as I love communicating with people.
Everything about our housesit for Toniya and Larry was wonderful. The heart of it all was Maddie, a 13 year old Standard Poodle with the spirit of a youngster. She was sweet, funny and ready to play or simply hang out with us. She bubbled up with excitement every time we returned from errands, capturing a toy in her mouth and running in circles. Taking her for walks along the beautiful tree-lined streets and in nearby parks was simply a delight. Toniya and Larry are gracious hosts who love to share their spectacular home and area highlights with sitters. They care deeply about Maddie and provided everything we needed to take good care of her and their home. We greatly appreciated their open communications and their true hospitality. We miss Maddie already and would love to see her and her humans again before long.
James house is beautiful and tranquil mountain retreat. The perfect getaway from the city. But close to town for exploring and hiking. Deegan is so sweet and easy to care for. we enjoyed long walks on the nearby trail and watching him run and play. James was so helpful especially when the power went out possibly from winds to help us. Hope to come back to enjoy the changing seasons!
Stars is a great dog, and it was nice to be in such a pet friendly area. He has so much energy and loves being outdoors, and his future sitters should definitely enjoy spending time walking/playing with him. Overall, we really enjoyed taking care of this sweet puppy!

Our two dogs have been regular guests at Quarrybrae since March 2022. Varying between 2 weeks stays and shorter breaks. Keitha, Jeff and their daughter have been amazing with the boys and I would not put them anywhere else. They always come back happy boys, sometimes not wanting to leave lol. One of our boys is a Romanian rescue and Keitha and fam have been great with him, he can be a nervous boy at times but each time he stays his confidence is increasing and we can tell he really trusts Keitha, Jeff and their daughter, which is amazing and we have no worries leaving him there, as he is in the best hands. It's lovely to see the photos on the FB page too and communication has always been great. Thank you!
Very friendly from initial email to final pick up. Also accommodating and had a genuine care for Darcy while she was staying. When I picked up Darcy I could tell she was content and had been well looked after. Would definitely recommend and use again. I also loved the facebook pics posted of Darcy whilst I was away for the 2 weeks so I could see she was happy - thank you :)
We use this kennels every year for the past ten years! Can't fault a single thing our black lab has elbow displacia and arthritis from a very young age and takes medication, quarrybrae give him his meds and keep him in his usual routine (limited walks ect) out boy is getting old but still loves his holibobs x wouldn't go anywhere else

Highly recommend QBK. I have never put my dogs into kennels as they have always stayed with my family. However my oldest dog took unwell and needed respite so I needed to find kennels at the last minute for my other two dogs during the summer holidays. Keisha couldn’t have been more helpful and thank goodness she had one last space. I go away twice next year and my dogs will now only be going here. I seen photos and updates of my boys when I was away and felt so relaxed knowing they were in good hands. Thank you for everything you do for our beloved dogs xxxx
Wasn't interested in taking my dogs unless willing to commit to long term constant use of her facilities. Not at £40 a day for 2 dogs maybe the millionaires she is used to dealing with can palm of the responsibilities of their dogs on a regular basis but the whole setup seems really unreasonable for a boarding service. From the response below tou can get a feeling for how unprofessional the whole set up is. She has posted my screen name on Facebook which is different to my actual name for personal reasons (so now I've had to change that) she has also quoted and mocked my wording and manipulated my words. She has also decided to advertise to the world the breeds of dogs I have, again something I don't want plastered all over the Internet. How disrespectful to my right to privacy all that was ever required was her response not my personal information. Remove my personal information from your response and stick to the facts.
Keitha and her team are amazing with the dogs. They really take the time to get to know your pet. The dogs are well looked after and treated like royalty. I wouldn't take mine anywhere else x

Very happy with Ewan and Annie. Our dogs have stayed with them for a week before and were well cared for and happy. They always let us know well in advance of any holidays they may be taking and are good at getting in touch of either dog is not quite right. I would highly recommend Loch Leven Petcare!
Anne and Ewan checked in on our indoor cat while we were getting married over a weekend and they were brilliant. Annie & Ewan have been walking our two dogs since they started, and they recently had them for a week while we went on our our first foreign holiday in years. Annie & Ewan have built a great relationship with our two, who can be challenging at times being rescues, so we had no qualms about leaving them there. We got daily updates and photos which put our minds at rest, and it is clear that the dogs love both the walks and staying over. Highly recommend them for their friendly, personal, caring approach, they are clearly dog people first and foremost.
Annie and Ewan have looked after our cat in our home a few times. Their service is superb. The updates of how she is getting on together with photos/videos is a great touch and loved by all of us. We will definitely be booking their services the next time we go away.
Our puppy went for a 4 night stay at Loch Leven Petcare and i felt so reaussred as the communication from them was great prior to her stay and whilst she was there, even sending lots of pictures. Annie and Ewan reassured us and kept us updated with pictures of Harry, when he stayed while we were on holiday. Even his yucky raw food was not a problem. He is a big dog and his tail can be quite a weapon, I understand he is a lot to take on and I over fuss but he genuinely seemed happy staying there, I was reassured by their experience of dogs.
No hesitation in recommending Loch Leven Petcare. From my initial enquiry they were professional but friendly too. I was looking for a week long holiday home for our young Cavapoo. They offered a couple of 'practice' nights away which put both me and my dog at ease. In fact my dog was obviously excited to be back when I dropped her off! I know they looked after her well, keeping her busy with walks and playtime. The updates and photos while we were away were an added bonus. I will definitely be using Annie and Ewan again.
We were looking for dog boarding for our dog Millie at short notice and over the Christmas period. Ewan and Anne were recommended to us on a Facebook community group and when we got in touch we found they were very helpful and friendly. They cared for Millie like she was their own and sent us plenty of updates and photos during her stay. We now use Loch Leven Petcare for regular walks and we couldn't be happier with the service. They even have a tracking tag they use on Millie's collar, so they can show us on a map how far she has ran on her walk! If you love your pet, you'll love these guys!
Had read some great reviews on the local community page and got in touch with Annie and Ewan. They replied very promptly with links to the forms we needed to fill in for Jack and Finn. What was so brilliant though was that they wanted to meet our dogs in their own home to get an idea of what they were like. Both Annie and Ewan spent a lot of time playing and talking to our boys, Ewan even sat on the floor whilst Finn jumped all over him. The boys had a great time and we were both so delighted that they were with a couple who really loved dogs. Already planning their next stay - Highly recommend...
We left Nellie with Annie and Ewan while we went to a wedding. It was our first visit to the area and we were a little concerned about leaving her, especially as she has not been left since the first lockdown. We needn’t have worried. We got updates about how she was settling and pictures. She got walked and cuddled and we are hoping to leave her again on our next visit.
Julie took fantastic care of our dog Islay when we went on holiday, she sent us daily updates and pictures of all the activities she did with islay. She even bought her a new Kong ball when islay lost her original. She clearly has a passion for what she does and is extremely professional and capable. Would highly recommend and will be definitely using her services again
Would highly recommend Julia to look after your dog. She looked after our puppy for 4 weeks and will definitely be sending Lexie back to her when we go on our next holiday. She sent us regular photos and updates and kept us informed when Lexie had a mild reaction to some salmon oil. Lexie had an amazing time with her and would love to go back! 10/10.
I would highly recommend Julia to everyone who loves their dogs. Julia was looking after my dog for a couple of days and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. I have been receiving regular updates about Lexi and photos from her daily activities. Knowing that Lexi was so well looked after allowed me to enjoy my time away from her. Lexi came back home very happy too. Julia is amazing in what she is doing and you can see all dogs loves her too.
Our beagle x Luna has now stayed with Julia 3 times and I now wouldn't think of placing her anywhere else whilst we go away. Luna has been to kennels once and it was completely the wrong situation for her but now we have found Julia we no longer worry if she's OK. We have just got Luna back after a 5 night stay and she is a very happy doggy. After her stay in kennels last tear she was very different with us and had developed some bad habits. Now when she goes to Julia's she is dragging us to her door and is still the same dog upon return. This time she didn't even notice we had gone, she ran off to play immediately. Julia sends us updates everyday, letting us know she's getting the best care. Luna is treated like one of Julia's own, Luna adores her. You won't find a better place for your fur baby than with Julia.
This is the 3rd time I’ve left my Kobe with Julia. It was my first time leaving Kobe so I was very anxious. From the very start , Julia put me at ease and she took Kobe for a few sleepovers before we left him for his holiday. Julia, is absolutely fantastic, I feel totally content when I leave Kobe with Julia. It’s just home from home. She is so good to him, he gets loads of walks, attention and snuggles. Her own dogs are absolutely adorable 🥰. Julia, keeps me well updated, she sends me loads of pics and videos which I absolutely love , he always looks so happy and getting these just makes my day. I was attending a wedding and needed a dog sitter (I live in Cheshire) Julia was recommended to me and she did an excellent job looking after my 10 month old pup, who can be a bit timid at times. He had an afternoon of fun and adventures. I loved getting photo updates of what he was doing. I would use Julia again if I needed her.

Just Picked up my two happy boy's, who clearly enjoyed the wee holiday at Puddledub Kennels. The guys at the Kennels are very friendly and helpful and clearly they all love dogs as my Two Springers Albert and George were happy to be with them all. Kennels are clean and tidy and all dogs are well looked after. This was the 1st time ever leaving our dogs in Kennels and I would definitely use puddledub kennels again. The first time we've used Puddlebub Kennels, very good impression. When we dropped him off and picked him up, there was plenty of staff around to help, all of them very friendly. He'd obviously had a good experience as he was his usual happy cheerful self when we picked him up. Will use again for sure.

Miriam looked after our Cavapoo puppy Max for a week. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough. We had regular updates on Max throughout the week who was well looked after and cared for. We had complete piece of mind during our holiday. Miriam was great to deal with, she also provided us with a lot of useful tips and suggestions with Max going forward. She is very knowledgeable about dog breeds in general. Brilliant service and Max will be back for his ‘pawlidays’ again soon 🐾

Honestly what a genuine lovely lady miriam is although she was fully booked on the dates I needed she went above and beyond with lots of helpful information moving forward, recommend advice she gave, the amount of time she took out her own day to talk with me reassuring me and going threw option I'm so grateful for. I would highly recommend her service based on our own chat for the last 2 hours nothing was a problem if anything I have gained knowledge/ understanding of my own wee dog this lady is hands down a lovely soul thank you Tanya x
I have been using Bespoke Home from Home Dog Boarding for many years - the first time was just after Miriam started it all! Border collie Mac was just a young dog then and he was always well cared for and given that extra special love and attention that you want for your special pet when you have to leave them. We have had 4 different carers over the years and all have been excellent. We now have two dogs, 2 border collies Mac and Midge, and whenever we leave them, we are confident that that they are in safe hands and that they will be cared for as you would care for them yourself at home. Sometimes, it is hard to tear them away and bring them home, they have had such a great time!! Thank you! :)
Unfortunately she couldn't board my dog, but she spent a lot of time with me trying to help me out. A very helpful lady who gave her time when she didn't have to.
Bespoke Dog Boarding was highly recommended to me by my vet. I telephoned the owner of the company and we had a detailed chat about my dog and his requirements, also his daily routine. I was most impressed by the owner of the company and can tell that she clearly is very knowledgeable about dog breeds in general. I was concerned that my dog who is a loveable middle aged lab, would be home boarded alongside, for example, a "Staffie" but after reading these other reviews, I am delighted to say that dogs who some may consider as potentially dangerous breeds would not be allowed to board with Bespoke Dog Boarding. This gave me peace of mind. I then met with one of the dog carers, who fell in love with my boy straight away and vice versa. The carers home and garden was beautiful. We spend over half an hour with the carer and played with my dog in the garden. I could see how happy he would be if he were to come here for his holidays. I have now used Bespoke Dog Boarding 3 times this year already as the service is fantastic. The dogs receive 3 or 4 lengthy walks each day, loving home comforts, constant companionship and I also received updates during my holiday followed by a selection of beautiful photographs after my holiday, showing Bailey having a super time with another 2 dogs from different families. When I collected him, he didn't want to leave!!!! I have now highly recommended Bespoke Dog Boarding to all of my dog friends. I would advise others to make a booking months in advance of your holiday as they are usually fully booked 6 months to a year in advance by all their regular clients. However I have sometimes asked for a short notice booking and if they have availability they will take Bailey. To the team of dog carers who may read this, thank-you for providing me with total peace of mind and I look forward to using your service for many more years to come.
Used Miriam for my dog Bailies 14 years at least three times a year and couldn’t fault her. She dosnt take dangerous breeds which I feel is a great thing as it is only for the safety of our own dogs . I can’t beleive the below negative posts when thease people have even used the company because they didn’t make it through the strict criteria . Well done Bespoke for not taking any dog just to make more money . Fabulous service and genuine dog lovers .

Murdo has been looked after by Colin & Mary on several occasions. His second home, I have no problem leaving him and know he'll be well looked after with lots of walks and cuddles.

Have nothing but high praise for John and Jane and staff who looked after our doggies Babes and Brodie when were in Scotland on a break. They were only in for one day. Brodie is a typical Border Collie and can be unpredictable at times. My partner was a little concerned as she has never left her doggies in daycare before. She was over the moon that he'd been really well behaved and is welcome back anytime. We will use Happy Mutts again in the future. Thanks everyone!
I cannot recommend Happy Mutts strongly enough. We came to John and Jane for 14 years until our Wee Man passed away. He was always looked after well and was treated as part of the family all the time. He loved going up to them on his holidays. Thanks for all you did for us.
An outstanding couple who really look after dogs fantastically. John and Jane have looked after our dog for 6 years now and we would always go back to them. She is taken in as part of the family, so are we when dropping off and picking up. She always comes back happy, healthy and content. Cannot recommend happy Mutts highly enough, please, if u need your dog cared for while on holiday or day care, contact them.
They looked after my sprocker for 3 days while we were in Scotland, they are a friendly team who clearly love the dogs they care for. My dog had clearly enjoyed himself as he was pleased to go in day 2 and 3 , thank you again, you are highly recommended
Saw photos on Facebook this evening..unfortunately. They then disappeared. .but was so good to see all the dogs looking so happy and enjoying themselves. Penny included. Yes would well recommend Happy Mutts. It is good to know that she is enjoying her time spent with you.
Cannot trust Happy-Mutts to walk the dogs for the hour they charge for. I have proof that some days my dog was only walked for 15 minutes, and yet they charge for an hour. They also do not walk the dogs at the time scheduled. One example is my dog was meant to be walked between 12-1 and they turned up at 10.10 and I hadn't even left the house. I have spoken to other previous customers who all had the same problems, and yet it still continues, despite complaints. I have emailed about this, but it has been ignored.
Called to ask about dog walking and was told they would call back. They did not. Called them the day before I needed a dog walker and was told they couldn’t help. Really left in the lurch. Pretty unprofessional. Would not recommend

This is a very good place to go to for your doggy needs! They sell a good range of natural dog treats, freezer foods and lots more besides! They even have little cupcakes for your dog! And ice cream!!! The groomer section has been very helpful and have carried out lovely jobs from basic face/rear to full shampoo/cut on the dog. They are busy and you need to book a good bit in advance. They are now also operating a charge for 'no shows' which is a good idea, especially as some appointments can be 2 hours long. Staff have always been helpful. They also offer dog training which was very informative and we picked up a lot of useful tips.
Great job, felt totally comfortable leaving my wee one in their care. Pup had a great time and looks even more beautiful!
Staff super friendly and lovely. Our 3 yorkies were groomed fabulously together and on collection were all happy, with waggy bums and well looked after. As a doggy mom who gets nervous about leaving my 3 with anyone new for the first time, I didn't have to be. The facilities and staff were welcoming and great. Highly recommended.

I have used Veronica’s dog walking and dog daycare services for in excess of eight years. The service is fantastic. Megan loves going to meet all her doggie friends and loves Veronica. The dogs get a variety of walks and activities. Veronica has a lovely approach and bond with all the dogs and is so dependable. Highly recommend About A Dog.
Veronica is a dog whisperer! She looked after my German Shepherd for a week and when i took him back he was totally chilled, had learned new training and walked so much better on the lead! She treats the dogs like her own and clearly loves her job. Cant recommend her highly enough!
Veronica has been walking our dog Bear twice a week for the last 4 years. We have also boarded Bear with her on several occasions. Bear loves her walks with Veronica - we are completely happy with the service and would highly recommend Veronica to anyone.
Veronica was great with my dog. It was the first time she had been away from me overnight and she came back happy. She was also tired after a long rural walk and had great fun socialising with the other dogs.

I would highly recommend Paw’s & Pooches Dog walking services Kirkcaldy. My two fur babies Baillie and Koko get really excited when they get to go on their group walk with Cheryl. Koko used to escape and wouldn’t come back when called but Cheryl has her off the lead and comes back when out one her walks with the pack.

I have booked 2 weeks of dog boarding with Albachi Pet Services. She charged me 50% deposit which equals to a fee for one week. Due to a change in circumstances I asked to cancel the second week but she is refusing to provide the service which has been paid for or issue a refund. Very dishonest and extremely disappointing given then I’m an existing customer. Edit after business owner’s response: I have never told you the age of the second dog and it has never been mentioned whether it’s been bought or adopted so your public ally spreading false information to make me look bad. Also no, you haven’t provided me with terms and conditions.
Absolutely amazing lady. We have 5 cats all needed to be chipped and 4 that needed nails clipped and one of our Moggys wasn't having any of it, but Shell was so Patient with him and we managed to get him chipped in the end just couldn't do his nails unfortunately but that was down to the cat himself not Shell. I would definitely recommend Shell to everyone.
