Debbie's pups, Boomer and Bruno were the best! So affectionate and well behaved. I think I fell in love and will miss them! They are not great at staying on one side of the road and sometimes go in opposite directions, so watch out for cars! They were really good (recall and staying close) off-leash on the trails near the house. It was so lovely to walk them in such a beautiful setting. Milo the cat was sweet but I didn't see her very much. The bunny was scared of me so all I could do was feed him. Debbie's home was very comfortable and I had everything I needed. Debbie is an excellent communicator and very calm and kind. It was a pleasure interacting with her. I'm really going to miss the pups!
David has been one of the most interesting people I have met thus far on my housesitting journey. He is very detail oriented but also very laid back … a very nice balance. While my stay was short it was exactly what I needed as his pets are as easy to deal with as his is and his home and space is very tranquil. I was glad he gave me the opportunity to stay at his place. David’s is extremely accommodating while also leaving you to your devices.
Had a great time is Oslo with Masik. The place was clean and Alessia was very quick and clear with all the communication. the location is great, walking distance to everything you need. She sent helpful videos with info about the apartment and instructions for Masik. He was very sweet and chill, he for sure likes to be around people. He was happy to see me straight away and wanted all the attention.
We really enjoyed our time with Julio! He is a very well-behaved dog with a sweet disposition, fun personality and a love of cuddles. Teresa & John are incredibly thoughtful, kind, considerate and appreciative people. They have a lovely, comfortable home with a backyard oasis. And a short walk will get you to The Barn, a great, dog-friendly food truck & tap room spot with live music most nights! A truly wonderful pet sitting experience! Definitely apply for this one, folks.
What a great sit!! Brian and Molly are incredibly kind and were always available to answer questions or help sign me up for time at the building's indoor pool (which is amazing and I went almost every day!). The building has a lot of great amenities, the gym is huge and has the best stuff. Their place is also lovely, I slept soundly in the big bed and enjoyed a lot of couch time with their full set up of all of the streaming services. Dollop coffee/restaurant/market is also right downstairs and I got a few meals there. But the real star is Vance! He has character, he knows what he wants and he asks for it. Sometimes that is perhaps a little too early in the morning but you know...cats. It took a few days before he went from brief cuddles to full on demanding a spot on my lap and literally pushing my laptop off while I sat on the couch. I honestly didn't mind, if I really needed to work, I would've sat at the table. His little purrs as he settled in for a nap on my lap were very sweet. I'd happily sit here again!
Great experience - Jake was friendly and welcoming. Taco and Belle were a delight to look after - their energy created a great opportunity to explore the local sites on daily walks, but also great company in the evenings when chilling out.
