Jennifer was so lovely! She was extremely communicative from the get go; asking lots of questions and making sure she got everything right. I immensely appreciated her attention to detail. She sent pictures of Parker along the way and when I returned home I could tell he was very well taken care of! I would highly recommend, and would love to have her stay in my own home again. Thanks, Jennifer!

Evelyn is truly the hostess with mostess. Very welcoming friendly lady. Cara just kept to herself. As long as you walk her a few times a day she is happy. Lovely family!! Thank you for trusting us to look after your home and Cara.

I had a wonderful stay with GreyCat and enjoyed Juliet’s lovely home and the area. Lots of local shops and near to transport. Juliet was great and showed me around her home and was clear with communication throughout. Highly recommend this sit! Thanks

Our housesitting experience at Tina's cottage was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Tina's warmth and hospitality were evident. She went above and beyond by picking us up from the train station, taking us to the grocery store, and even preparing a delicious vegan dinner tailored to our diet. Arriving to find staple food items already stocked was a thoughtful touch. Additionally, she graciously extended our stay and treated us to a memorable day out, including a visit to Ashdown Forest, the inspiration for Winnie the Pooh's Hundred Acre Wood, as well as a castle turned hotel and a charming 16th-century pub, where she treated us to a beer each. When it was time to leave, she generously offered to drive us halfway to our next housesit. Her kindness didn't end there; when I realized I'd left something important behind, Tina promptly offered to mail it to me free of charge. Plus, Tina's accommodation of our rabbits added an extra layer of joy to our stay, as they enjoyed the garden just as much as we did, if not more. However, it's important to note that the WiFi doesn't reach the separate cottage where we stayed, so we purchased a cheap used WiFi extender that did the trick and made it work flawlessly. The doorways are also quite short, which may be uncomfortable for taller guests, particularly men above 5' 11". Despite these minor inconveniences, our overall experience was nothing short of magical, thanks to Tina's gracious hospitality.

My sit at Tom’s and Kate’s house was excellent. They are great communicators and left detailed instructions for the house and cat care. The house was clean and comfortable, in a great neighborhood. They were generous with tips and encouraged me to make myself at home. The cats have a ton of personality and are largely self sufficient so I could spend as much time as I wanted away from the house. Highly recommended.

We felt very fortunate to be invited by Jo to sit for her adorable cat Boots as our first house sit. Jo’s house is beautiful, spacious and characterful; a real mix of old and modern. Our en-suite guest room was on the first floor and had stunning views. The house was in a secluded spot - perfect if you love peace and quiet! We loved watching the many garden birds too. Jo was very friendly and welcoming, and communication was straightforward and easy. Boots is the most wonderful cat! He is so good natured and just loved human company. He will jump up on your lap at every opportunity. He’s an outdoor cat, so he was very easy to look after. Thank you Jo, for welcoming us into your home and for trusting us with Boots.

Spud, the Irish terrier, is a great dog. Very easy to look after and good on the lead for walks. There are 2 secure areas nearby where Spud can be let off the lead and enjoy a good run, one is just about walkable from the house and the other is just a short drive away. Spud is fine in the car. The 2 chickens are also easy to care for. The house itself is full of character and is very comfortable with good wifi and BT TV and there are excellent instructions about the house and pet care for the housesitters. There are 2 pubs in the village and Stamford and Rutland Water are both only a short drive away. We enjoyed our time there and became very fond of Spud.
