Jane and Neil were excellent house and pet sitters. They were pleasant, prompt and very courteous. Even though Jane had an excellent reason to cancel their stay, they came anyway which was so appreciated by us. They took wonderful care of Coco who enjoyed getting out to explore Powell River and the area everyday with this kind couple. Our house was immaculate when we returned and we would love to have them stay again anytime. Highly recommended.

Judith & James

Judy and Jamie spent more than a month with Rocky, our “born-to-retrieve” Labrador. Although Zeewoi has always provided great sitters, these two set the bar higher with our boy regularly getting his retriever fix & keeping the house in top shape. We especially appreciate them dealing with a humbug “car thing” while we were 8000km away in Egypt and Jordan. We also had a day delay in our return flights that they happily accommodated. What a huge relief that was! A return gift of pasta and a recipe book, together with a cheerful bouquet of flowers was especially thoughtful. Of course we got photos of Rocky playing and napping - his two main endeavors. Judy and Jamie will be at the top of our list for future sits.

Mila & Gary

Mila and Gary were very organized and made sure they knew everything they needed for their stay. Our pets were well cared for and Mila made sure to email us daily updates along with photos. Gary even took care of a broken smoke detector located in the 12’ high ceiling of the master bedroom. Everything was clean and tidy when we returned and Mila followed up by checking on us after they left.

Susan was a great cat and house sitter. She was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. You can tell that she loves cats and did a great job at playing with them and sending me updates. The house was spotless when we returned. She is welcome to house and cat sit anytime. I really appreciated the card :)

Lana was a fantastic pet/house sitter. In addition to being delightful, she connected well with our 3 pets, and paid attention to the details of their routine. The house was immaculate upon return and the animals were calm/ happy. We plan to invite Lana back, very smooth, reassuring stay.

Chris was thoroughly organized and dependable. He communicated with us regularly while we were away, reassuring us that our boys were doing fine. The occasional photos were greatly appreciated. Our old boy had a relatively minor medical issue while we were away, and Chris was efficient in the way that he dealt with it. The house and garden had obviously been well attended to. Most importantly our boys had been well cared for and were happy and healthy on our return.

Joanna & Mark

I am pleased to have had Joanna and Mark pet sit for my dog and cat and to leave them a well deserved 5 star review. Joanna communicated well, including any questions they had as well as responding to me and giving updates while I was away. They were responsive to, and respectful of, my pets needs and particularities. They left the house tidy and clean and even ensured that the garbage and compost went out on the appropriate day - which I had neglected to inform them of. They also saw that I had forgotten to water my indoor plants before I left and let me know they had looked after them. I'm hopeful that they will be able to sit for my pets again and definitely recommend them to others.

David his wife Lynn were the perfect house sitters, they kept us up to date with how the dogs were and looked after the house so well. It was spotless on our return. I was a little surprised that the dogs hadn’t packed their bags to leave home with them! Thank you for all the lovely things they said about everything😀

We feel extremely lucky to have had Judy and Ted as our house sitters during our recent trip. They were totally reliable, and exceptionally communicative -- keeping us informed both before and during the sit -- including anecdotes about their adventures with our animals. They took such good care of our dog, Cooper, that he barely seemed to miss us. He got walks every day and car rides and -- judging by his relaxed demeanor when we returned -- lots of love and attention. Judy and Ted were so conscientious about caring for our goats and alpacas, too -- spending time with them, feeding them (of course), and making sure their little shed was clean and dry. We returned to an immaculately clean house -- including laundered linens and towels, and to very generous and thoughtful gifts they'd left for us. If it works out, we would -- without a doubt -- absolutely love to have them come back for another sit. They are such nice and interesting people -- we hope we can somehow remain friends.

Megan was a great house sitter. She arrived and left on time, stayed in good contact and even sent pictures of my baby to reassure me while I was away. I felt super comfortable with her staying at my place and taking good care of my cat who she really seemed to bond with quite quickly. Hope to have her back again!

Laurie is a wonderful pet sitter! She kept me updated with photos and greetings from home while I was travelling. All communication and planning was easy and smooth with her. She took excellent care of our cats, bearded dragon and fish, and the house. Everything was clean and tidy, and the pets well cared for when I got back home. Strong recommendation for Laurie!

It was an absolute pleasure to sit for Hannah and Andrew; their two lovely fur babies, Bridget and Chelsea were the best company and their lovely house is perfectly situated for commuting if you need to! The area is so pretty, I really enjoyed my daily stroll to get coffee in the park nearby. The cats have such personality, Chelsea is pretty fearless and loves nothing more than a play with her toys in the morning and will let you know when she’s ready 😂 and the sweet girl Bridget is very shy and gentle but she warmed up quickly! I am going back in June and I can’t wait!

Robin and Chantal are very nice hosts which is why I give them 5 stars.
I was there in the winter time and am sure a summer time would make a big difference as the house has a nice garden and with sun, everything is more bright and enjoyable. The house has everything you need.
During my stay I experienced bad weather conditions with extreme rain fall and storms which resulted in many and long power cuts and no internet for an entire week and no 4G connection either.
Bordezac is very small with few inhabitants and one Carrefour market.
If you enjoy being by yourself and in silence and enjoy quiet time, I can highly recommend this sit. You will not be disturbed, no noise and if the weather permits, you will have a big garden and a lot of walking areas.
If you need or rely on internet for work, then I cannot recommend this sit as the internet speed is below 5 Mbps.
Though that could change in a year.

Ninon and Hugo are amazing pets, and I only sat for Ninon who cuddled up with me every night. Very sweet.

What a gorgeous way to celebrate our 50th housesit! Penny & Euan were fab hosts - making us a lovely breakfast before they left for their trip & taking the time to show us around the farmstead & explaining the pet routines. The house was lovely & warm (in the coldest spell we've had for some years), and the dog walks - made even more gorgeous by the snow & always accompanied by Murdo the cat (!) -  gave stunning views to the Lomond Hills to the south.  The dogs all had their different personalities, were just a delight to be with both up in the hills and snuggled up in the lounge with us in the evening, and the Jacob sheep & Highland coos were so friendly & loved being rubbed & scratched.

Although we were snowed in for a couple of the days we did manage to visit some of the local area & walk through the famous spooky disused Glenfarg railway tunnels & recover afterwards in the cafe at Loch Leven's Larder. We had an absolutely lovely time & hopefully we'll meet up again soon for a pizza night from the touring mobile van!!

There are not enough stars for this sit! Gareth’s communication was great from the very beginning and Gigi & Steve were the best host & hostess!! They took us on many walks and tours of the wonderful neighbourhood they live in. Including a local bar that we 1st met at and then returned to 5 times. We would definitely love to have spent more time with these two in a great apartment in the charming neighbourhood! Don’t hesitate to apply to Gareth & Paula’s next sit!!
