Where do I start? Firstly, the family were so lovely and warm and welcoming. They were great at communicating and letting us know everything we needed and super helpful and accommodating when we needed to change the dates slightly at the end of the stay. The house was beautiful and has everything we needed, lovely environment and clean and tidy. The garden was long, lovely decking area, open plan living space and bright and spacious. The house was a great location as lots of beautiful place were within around 30minutes drive. (Sidmouth, exmouth, Teignmouth, Beer etc.). Finally (the main event!!), Bella is the most beautiful dog and was the icing on the cake. We really enjoyed having her and it was emotional to leave her at the end of the sit. She slotted in amazingly with our family and we took her on day trips out to coastal towns nearby. She was happy all the time, loved going on walks, especially to the park which was just around the corner. She’s a very sociable dog and her favourite thing was meeting other dogs and playing with them and would get super excited and run so fast in rings around the field. We had our 5 month old baby with us and she was the most gentle with her, would lie next to her and sniff her but was never rough. They made friends and it was very lovely to see. She slept downstairs at night and was so happy in the mornings to greet us. She’s a very affectionate dog and a joy to be around. We would absolutely love to look after Bella again in the future. We would highly recommend this pet sit. Jodie is one of the most good-natured and well-behaved dogs you will ever meet. He needs a bit of time to get going in the morning, but he is remarkably well considering his years. Maurice is also delightful and friendly, but comes and goes as he pleases. Maggie and Rose were very friendly and welcoming. We had the opportunity to have dinner with them the day before they left which meant we got a thorough briefing about the pets and house. During our stay they were always available to answer the occasional query. The house is very comfortable with a beautiful garden which we were able to take advantage of. Alexander Palace is close-by for lovely walks in the park and Highgate Woods is a great place for walking the dog. The area is very well serviced with everything you need within easy walking distance, including cafes, shops and public transport. We would gladly return to pet sit.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Gene, John, Willie, and Bailey. I feel like I have made some great new friends, as well as had a fabulous time exploring Philly, and staying in a beautiful home with two very sweet dogs.  Gene and John are very kind, generous, and easy-going. They love their girls, but are also reasonable with their expectations. They really wanted me to enjoy myself and explore the town between caring for the dogs. Can’t recommend them more for anyone looking for a dog sitting trade.
Aka was a gem. He literally is a car dog, he loves cuddling and sleeping all day. He also loves his walks. He knows when it is time to go for a walk and get super excited for walks. I would totally pet sit him again because he is so unique and kind
We had a great experience pet sitting for Patricia and Keith. Callie is a great dog. She was a bit shy at first but she got used to us fast and was friendly and well behaved. Patricia and Keith were easy to communicate with and quick to respond if we had any questions, and they gave us a lot of useful information about the area as well. The location is fantastic, right downtown in Salt Lake City. We’d be happy to sit for them again.
This was a 10-star sit! Brian and Molly are an incredibly thoughtful couple and they communicate really well :) even before I arrived, Molly had already helped me put in bookings for the indoor lap pool, and Brian had compiled a booklet with important and helpful information on caring for Vance and the apartment. Their apartment was spotless when I arrived, and boasts an incredible view of the lake and shoreline. The highlight though, was of course Vance, a 17y-young gentleman! It was such a joy waking to his soft purrs and gentle pawing (it is super cute). Vance is so easy to care for and loves cuddling. I miss carrying him around the apartment already! If given the chance, I'd definitely sit for Vance again -- and if you're looking for a 10-star sit in Chicago, this is it :)
